@RedDevilDK86 ahhhh. Yeah I've never had a string break on me yet, but all I've done is detuning, restringing and standard E. And I'm also incredibly gentle and inch things slowly rather than quickly. I'll be curious to see what happens when I do open tunings for slide, but so far being gentle helps

3:14 it’s not the same Hendrix strat, I actually went to the Met to see the play it pound exhibit and they had the small bit of what’s left of the guitar, it’s pretty cool. He painted it with a psychedelic paint job then burned it.
I believe that´s another burned Hendrix Strat,that Jimi gave to Frank Zappa,not the one from the picture.
Frank asking him if he could have the burned guitar as a souvenir,Jimi said: "sure" and he restored it many years later with his son Dweezil. There´s a video with Dweezil Zappa,showing the guitar and telling the whole story.
The guitar btw. is fully functional after Frank & Dweezil Zappa restored it.
