Thank you for showing your gear & set-up! Interesting to see how it works behind the scenes. (Yay, ikea trolley, I have one of those too π). Also, the title track demo for the new album sounds soooo good!!!
Always a great watch π
thank you!
Thanks for taking us backstage - LOVE that new track! ππ
Good luck starting on the recording for the album tomorrow! β
Thank you!!
yes thanks for that, very interesting. I love seeing how organised you are, keeping it all together
Thanks for watching, Mark xo
Really enjoyed that Laura. A fascinating insight behind the scenes π
Thank you so much xx
This is really great, so good to see some of what you do to get things working. Really love the new song too.
Thanks so much!
Nice to see my Ghost (Acoustic Demo) drawing in its frame!
I love it so much!! xx
The melody on "Seasons" ππ
Thank you! It's one of those melodies that just came like that out of the sky or wherever songs come from. I feel lucky it chose me :)
Love the fact you have your own 'curfew' and then do an encore of black car later π
The curfew is for amplified guitar / vocals - itβs very quiet in the room when Iβm just going through the pedals and Gigcaster π

I really wanted to say that the OCD box wasn't straight, but it was the one next to it that wasn't.... The new song sounds great... I love the colour of the wall... Audiovisual stuff is a nightmare even for us techies and is guaranteed to cock-up on the day... And finally, we all love you and your music Laura, so it wouldn't matter to us if you got flustered or things didn't work first time!
You're so lovely, thank you. I'm amazed anything was straight on that pedalboard, it's not something I ever think about but I know it bothers others!! xo
Wishing you not too hot, not too cold and weather just so for your album recording sessions π€ Does it ever get too hot...or too cold, that you have to stop? At least if it's cold you can wrap up warm and have a hot water bottle. Not much fun trying to play guitar with frozen fingers though. Hope all goes well anyways. π
Thanks!
Thanks so much for this - really interesting and educational! That's a nice neat pedal board ... I went a bit mad with mine and then pared it back for rehearsals with Anna the drummer - just acoustic guitar and vocals so we were not having to waste time while I fiddled around with two synth pedals, a dual overdrive/distortion and an octave pedal! The Strymon sounds perfect for beefing things up without using an amp.
I'm super happy with it - I was worried as it's ££ and I don't like buying things on a whim these days that won't get used, but I'm going to use it ALL the time. I'll be building out the board later this week I think, I have some very nice pedals on a shelf which is not where they belong!
@@Penfriendrocks yes, it's always a risk especially on a whim! I actually wish I'd not gone for the Two Notes pedal I have as it is very fiddly to program - the Strymon sounds more immediate... Does it also give you that lovely clean tone? Good luck with the pedal board build and I hope the recording is going well!
Comfy slippers.
Definitely in the top 5 items of essential home studio equipment.
The good old Sony ax33/53. π
This oneβs an AX7. I love it!
Is that a touch of flange I am hearing? Nice work. New followerπ
Ahoy!! No flange, just a little bit of chorus perhaps? Lovely to meet you :)
@@Penfriendrocks the pleasure is mine. I look forward to listening more π
