- The plaintiff hired the defendant to drive her to work. They got into an argument in the parking lot, and when she went to open the door, the defendant hit a pillar, and the plaintiff sustained a wrist injury. The plaintiff is suing for medical bills and pain and suffering. The defendant argues the plaintiff is at fault for her injury.

@@gringo6797 He wasn't counter suing her. The Judge will not order anyone to pay for damages unless the person is asking for damage repairs and of course only if they have proof which he did have.

Don’t know if she was injured or not, but bruised and swollen doesn’t always present the same in some African American skin as it would in other ethnic groups.

Young lady needs to have some accountability. Plan ahead so you have time to get to work… if youre using hired transportation, it takes longer than just jumping in you own car. Does Worker's Compensation exist in America, here in Australia she would have been able to claim it if it was true.
Her next case will be before Judge Mathias where she will be suing People's Court because her wrist was hurt from banging on the to hard podium.
Yes it does but she didn’t get hurt on the job she got “hurt” on the way to the job. She wasn’t clocked in she wasn’t on the clock so workers compensation has no merit here. 😊

It does exist, but she absolutely would not have gotten it because she was not injured on the job. You have to be injured on the job to get workers compensation.
I understand where you are all coming from, but here in Victoria, Australia we can claim through the Transport Accident Commission, I don't think it applies to all the other states.
Instead of waiting for her to "go inside and use the atm" (like that was going to happen lol), he drove her right back home. Part of that common scam is being so nasty that the driver gives you what you want just to avoid having to deal with you anymore. And by her own admission, she was super nasty to him the whole way.
But he didn't fall for it, and she was so angry that she damaged his car door twice...then sued him for $5,000.00 !
I wish the defendant had brought dash-cam video, or at the very least counter-sued for the damage to his car. She's a real piece of work.

The plaintiff's testimony was way too scattered. And she came to court with no proof of anything. She was running late for work she claimed that she didn't have an attitude but it probably was really towards him and then on top of that he had to pick up another fare and she was pissed. Next time get yourself together earlier so you don't have to curse people out for you being later than you already are
