No, Epic is a song that's not on "King for a day fool for a lifetime", it's on the album "The Real Thing", and why would every song on an album be the same song? -Kidding!
Mike Parton has the widest vocal range of any recording artist. Vintage Vinyl News did an analysis ranking various rock and pop singers in order of their respective octave ranges and ranked Patton #1 with an amazing 6 octaves, 1/2 note range (Eb1 to E7), almost a full octave ahead of 2nd place Axl Rose who has a 5 octave, 2-1/2 notes range.
Michael Alan Patton: also my pick for GOAT, & not even remotely because of his 6 octave vocal range. The sheer variety in his catalog, from rock to Electronica to 60's Italian pop to metal/death metal...is just ridiculous.
Lucky enough to catch them at the Moore Theater in Seattle on their 97 your for Album of the Year. Patton and the boys did not disappoint. Saw Patton again at The Showbox in Seattle a few years later when he was touring for another of his many pet projects Peeping Tom. Kicked assn then too
His influence vocally is so huge. Chino from the Deftones and Brandon Boyd are two of the more famous examples (when you listen to the chorus on the Album version of this song you can easily mistake it for Brandon), but there are so many others. Daryl from Glassjaw is my favorite Pattin disciple, personally.
If you ever get a chance, if you love Mike Patton's versatility, take some time to acquaint yourself with Fair To Midland. They've got (HAD...they're defunct now,, sadly...a $ issue) an amazing singer--awesome range, absolutely nuts onstage...mixing styles in single songs, reminiscent of MP, if not in sound then in sheer breadth of talent. And I think you'll love their awesome use of keys... I don't care if it's a reaction...I just encourage giving them a listen. Their first album...not great @ all (they were looking for a sound), but the albums starting with Inter.Funda.Stifle, the Drawn & Quartered EP, then Fables From a Mayfly, ending with the epic, multistylistic, Arrows & Anchors. Just a heads up for FNM & MPatton fans & TWHz...music you won't encounter by accident, but it may change your life just a bit.
Do corrosion of conformity vote with a bullet …. Has shallow ground as the intro and just makes the song so much harder somehow you’ll not be disappointed it’s off the blind album … 90 -91 I think got a COC skull tattoo because of that album and was listening to them during my day younger skating days … eye for and eye … technocracy …
DO YOURSELF A FAVOR and check out Mr. Bungle (Mike Patton's other band) "My Ass Is On Fire" music video and get ready for something REALLY intense! Great videos and reactions keep it up!
The whole band giving 1000% to the audience. That's how any concert should be
The goat 🐐 is in the house. Patton is the man. Mike bordin on drums is a monster
How are you going to not mention Billy Gould on dat bass? He had some of the best bass lines in the biz
People speak about Grohl playing so hard😆
Bordin fuckin anihlates his kit...and it's beautiful.
Bordin hates his kit so much he uses his sticks back to front. Fucking destroys.
For me the highlight is Billy. That bass. Fuck me, that bass.
Puffy is the best drummer in the world
The man, the myth, the legend! Mr. Bungle, Tomahawk, Lovage, Peeping Tom, Fantomas, Dead Cross take your pick! Any of his projects are awesome
and dont forget it Mondo Cane!!!
@@antoniocarlin5026 Saw Mondo Cane live in Italy 2019. it was stunning
@@acidgravy1 I saw Dead Cross live on México City on 2018 under a rain from 8 hours in the drums Dave Lombardo!! :)
@@antoniocarlin5026 Deadcross is great, saw them in a small club in I think 2016
"King for a day fool for a lifetime" every single song is EPIC

Some don't get Mike Patton, some do. You guys definitely get it!
Faith No More always crushes..
Wanna see him do some real crazy stuff?
Watch his Project called Tomahawk - God Hates A Coward live. You won‘t be disappointed
One of his best live performances.
Take a look at Fantomas, Dead Cross, Moonchild Trio wit John Zorn, and all the IPECAC stuff....
There are no words except another level.
Faith No More are the best🤘
Mike Patton, the man with the 1000 voices
Mike is a more disciplined vocalist now than ever. I recommend their more recent performances from 2015 for live videos.
Watch “Collision” from the same show and remember that they opened the show with this song.
I was at this. Phoenix festival in 1997. It was a beautiful day.

Awesome! As I suggested the last time: a Mike Patton vocal compilation is a must hear.
Greetings from Germany

That guitarist is out of the matrix
Chemistry. This band has it.

Fun Fact: the drummer (Mike Bordin) is OZZY'S Drummer for years now.
did you understand the lyrics? hahaha I love this song.

These guys made so much influence, i think system of a down inspired by this track
I'm so glad to see the youth listening to these legends.
ALGORITHM
The bass line. The drums. Thick.
Great reaction.
React to "separation anxiety" or "cuckoo for caca" by faith no more
