My Uncle David played this track for Me when I worked for him one summer. He and others got Me into Metal and Drumming and Song Structure. Life changing. R.I.P. Uncle Dave 😢
Their cover of War Pigs is one of the greatest covers ever. Like Korn covering Another Brick in the Wall 2012 Sziget. Your reaction to that song is one I come back to a lot.
If you want to hear Mike Patton truly unleash his creativity then check out the first Mr Bungle album. It's like circus music on LSD crossed with metal. Soooo good.
Fantastic reaction video! Love this song. Mike Payton wrote this song for his mother…really. That’s why the lyrics are from the perspective of a baby…. The good and bad parts of being a mother… if you listen to it again with that perspective, you totally get it
I got to see them live during the real thing and angel dust tours. Man are they amazing live, just incredible. I was one that caught Mike patton when he did a stage dive into the crowd.
My theory of this song : The song is about mother and baby. The mother becomes zombie because the baby keep waking in the night tantrum demanding attention a lot and makes her sleepless like a zombie 😁. So the baby is the zombie eater 😆.
Faith no more have a lot of ironic lyrics, the same goes to other Mike Patton projects, like Mr Bungle for example. Even this album have a lot of ironic/ sarcastic lyrics, like "underwater love"
Possibly unpopular opinion...Edge Of The World from the same album. Little jazzy jam about the dangers of pedophiles. Amazing song that has unsurprisingly gone mostly unnoticed. Pattons lyrics either have no sense of reason or are IMMENSELY meaningful. One more reason why many could be considered goats, but he is the Shepard.
Mike Patton, was hired as the new vocalist when this album (musically) was already written AND recorded. He had to write over the music. He wrote the lyrics for this incredible album in 2 weeks!!! 😮💯
This is a weird video with a mostly studio track and a live scream in the middle. Would have been better to listen to the studio version or live Brixton version. Killer tune though.
No idea why this band wasn't at least as huge as RHCP. They have a better hit-rate and far bigger range. I guess just a little too weird for some people (even though they're fairly normal by Patton standards).
This song is absolute proof that Mike Patton could sing about literally anything and make it sound awesome.
agreed ... he could just scream and make noises and it would be better than most
@@izatafactnow Ya, that's him with Fantomas. lol
My Uncle David played this track for Me when I worked for him one summer. He and others got Me into Metal and Drumming and Song Structure. Life changing. R.I.P. Uncle Dave 😢
Such a great tune. Timeless.
and this is why we love Faith No More.
Soooo good! Amazing vocals guitars and arrangements.
“The Real Thing” (title track from the album) is truly a masterpiece… lyrics necessary!!
True dat! :)
My 2nd favorite song from them
Actually it’s damn near one of the best songs ever written
I grew up to FNM back 80's, 90's and to this day... it comfort me, all fire up...
This album will never sound outdated. It sounds fresh as ever.
Facts
I remember when it came out. I was 11 and my mom had this album.
Faith No More ~ FALLING TO PIECES 🤘🏼🔥🤘🏼
He's almost 60 and still great doing live shows.
Well the rest of the band is 60 or just about. Mike has a little ways to go at 54.
The best way to describe this song it’s like a jack in the box.
Record version played over a live version of the song, the video is from brixton 1990, look on this place of the live version of this track
One of the amazing songs from The Real Thing album.
This song is from one pf my all time fav albums.
Just awesome!
Stay Metal!
🤘😎🤘
The show runners of The Walking Dead loved this song so much they made it the theme song of the show.
The wipe my butt face! Was awesome!
To funny! Great reaction.
Their cover of War Pigs is one of the greatest covers ever. Like Korn covering Another Brick in the Wall 2012 Sziget. Your reaction to that song is one I come back to a lot.
Starts slow then it hits you absolute banger of a tune
You guys are awesome to experience this with!!!
If you want to hear Mike Patton truly unleash his creativity then check out the first Mr Bungle album. It's like circus music on LSD crossed with metal. Soooo good.
Might be the most influential album in metal history to anyone under 50.
Yes❤
TEMAZOOOOOO, saludos desde Chile !!!!
Most terriphic and splendid reaction from this golden tune. Don´t give up with Faith No More guys. Cheersssss
1989 classic sound and progressive talent. Got me through the 90s ... I bought it twice then
Mike Patton showed his range.
WE LOVE YOU FROM HUNGARY - EUROPE...
More and more from General Michael Patton, please...🔥
This song is entirely from the perspective of a baby. The "emerge" line could be the obvious meaning from a babies perspective. lol! Still horrifying
always nice to see people discover faith no more . they cover so much ground.
Faith no more y Mike Patton genios 🤟👌👍 , Angel dust una obra de arte
Fantastic reaction video! Love this song. Mike Payton wrote this song for his mother…really. That’s why the lyrics are from the perspective of a baby…. The good and bad parts of being a mother… if you listen to it again with that perspective, you totally get it
One of my Top 100 Metal Songs.
oh this is going to be so fun........
Beautiful guitar intro Mr. Jim Martin.😂
Jim Martin I really think is the best metal guitarist in terms of tone and time feel.
You have to love faith no more awesome stuff guy's 👍❤️
Wherever Faith no More appears, I'm present.
I got to see them live during the real thing and angel dust tours. Man are they amazing live, just incredible. I was one that caught Mike patton when he did a stage dive into the crowd.
The pronunciations….I’m with you on this!! It’s one of my favorite songs by FNM for that reason!!!
Mike Patton writes sounds as lyrics first then tries to find pertinent words to fill those sounds later 🖤🤘❤️
My theory of this song :
The song is about mother and baby.
The mother becomes zombie because the baby keep waking in the night tantrum demanding attention a lot and makes her sleepless like a zombie 😁.
So the baby is the zombie eater 😆.
Hence emerging from…..the womb.
You're so right Suzie. I love I can hear the lyrics
the whole album kicks ass.
One of the many things to love about heavy metal, lyrics can be about anything. From the worst murderers, serial killers to being a baby
"Ahhhhh..." LMAO... if only they knew!
one of the great albums ever recorded. The real Thing
You guys are definitely on a cocktail or 3 😁
Love this band!
Love this song and especially the real thing
Mike Patton su voz es espectacular!!
9:08 “WOOOOAH!!!”
Heck yeah!
It's a song about a chest burster from the movie Alien.
one of my favourites FNM songs
About an "innocent" baby, wreaking havoc.
Would love to see your reaction to Fishbone's End the Reign.
It's from the view of a baby . Emerge means when the baby is in need of the mother.
Check out Ice T’s band BODY COUNT the song called There Goes the Neighborhood
Fucking awesome
Faith no more have a lot of ironic lyrics, the same goes to other Mike Patton projects, like Mr Bungle for example.
Even this album have a lot of ironic/ sarcastic lyrics, like "underwater love"
Never thought about just playing the fking song?
Possibly unpopular opinion...Edge Of The World from the same album. Little jazzy jam about the dangers of pedophiles. Amazing song that has unsurprisingly gone mostly unnoticed. Pattons lyrics either have no sense of reason or are IMMENSELY meaningful. One more reason why many could be considered goats, but he is the Shepard.

You should check out a couple of Mike Patton's other projects. Tomahawk - God Hates A Coward and Mr Jungle - My Ass Is on Fire 🤘
Absolutely. Seconded. 100%
Mr. Bungle is essential.
Peeping Tom are so cool too.
@@nealesmith3700 Hell Yes. Their live performance of Desperate Situation in Köln is awesome.
This song is fucking awesome
Great song about a baby being born and never growing up
The ill Nino cover of this song feat Chino Moreno of Deftones is equally as good!
Equally? I love both Chino and ill nino but no,
Mike Patton made all Faith no More Songs just Singable or AT LEAST COMPELLED YOU TO TRY
Emerging from the Womb
Another body murdered... Boo ya Tribes!!
Check out FNM cover of War Pigs, Easy (Like Sunday Morning).
It’s from a baby’s point of view
Better than Bieber and his "Baby" song.
Emerge from the womb
Tomahawk Patton's original band.
This is a weird video with a mostly studio track and a live scream in the middle. Would have been better to listen to the studio version or live Brixton version. Killer tune though.
Please do some music by the band Failure. Thank you!
Its clearly about a baby.
This song is about narcissism
It’s my ex’s favorite song. This version is my favorite version. Her favorite version is Ill Nino with Chino from Deftones.
I still miss Jim and how heavy and choppy he plays.
React to "Evidence".
Please
No escuchan la cancion ppffffff
great reactors to fnm
To sum up.. “duh”
be quiet and let them play!
Dammit, wrong time to pause!!!!!!!
No idea why this band wasn't at least as huge as RHCP. They have a better hit-rate and far bigger range. I guess just a little too weird for some people (even though they're fairly normal by Patton standards).
Easy... It's because they are The Real Thing 🎸
🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷
Try some Mr bungle seriously
Revenge the fate=sîncera.my opinion
This was the worst react video I've ever seen. Guy was into it and he's good, but she was crazy bad
Lame
How do you call yourselves rockers when your rock vocabulary is so weak
look intoi their more obscure tunes instead of following the wave and vibe like eveyone else...
