I agree, lovely engines! I own a mk7 GTI stage 3 with safe 400hp and with dragy went for 9.9sec 100-200, but it is manual so with DSG it would be around 9.5 :D

Even with 330 hp and 355 lbs/ft of torque, I feel like the gear ratios in my DSG are too long to really enjoy on the street. After watching this, its clear those long gear ratios are perfect when you have 800 hp 😂

The mark of a great engine is its great even in stock form and they effortlessly respond to tuning while remaining reliable and durable with ungodly amounts of power over stock.
The first launch that was done, watch the Speedo jump past 60! I swear that would have of been 0-60 in 2secs or quicker!!! only if the car didn’t lose grip 👀 what a weapon!!!
There’s etuners here in australia as well, definitely keen to do the same set up but a wagon golf r, I can’t handle those small hatches, I want the room as well if I need to travel I have it all in 1.

I run 6.3 on a tte 535 hybrid with 515bhp at engine on s3 👀 with ecotune sauce

Speedo cam is a great addition, can actually see how fast these cars are, quite hard to judge from just the inside cam. 👍🏻👌🏻

Finnally an EA888 properly tuned with a big ass turbo and an external wastegate! Most of the time, people don't push'em that much
It's internally gated.
The headwork is a massive factor, you couldn't push one with bolt ons and internals that hard.
People that want to keep their DSG alive longer than a minute also tend to stay well under these figures lol.
