I think it's kinda sweet, that when Dante said jackpot to Urizen, Urizen knew instantly that that was Dante, to me it shows that it's something important to Vergil, because even his demon side remembers it. I also like the way Vergil says jackpot in his perfect judgment cut.

Damn, that's right. I also know that Dante said it during a phone call in one of the earlier games. XD I miss things sometimes.
As far as I know, Nero says it if you Buster grab Vergil and his Doppelganger while in DT or if you grab him while he's flying towards you.
When you beat sanctus in dmc4 with a buster nero goes "¡JACKPOT!"
Nero only Says ‘Jackpot’ in DMC 5 in bloody palace not in the main story he’ll only say “you will accept my existence” so you have to beat 100 rounds to get to Vergil so that you can suplex him and get Nero to say Jackpot

Well to be fair Vergil's a lot more cunning than Dante as well. Dante will just charge in sword swinging and guns blazing. Nero sadly takes more after his uncle. Vergil needs to rectify that. After making amends to his son and future daughter-in-law.

@@Dbzmaster159 well, Vergil had decades of experienced training with a very elegant weapon. The katana is precise, and with Vergil’s specific iaido style (a defensive sword style based on drawing your sword only for the killing blow, which Vergil loves to do). Dante also has that experience, but his swords arent built for the precision and defensive style of Vergil’s Yamato. His swords are huge ass anime greatswords.
Nero doesn’t really have *any* extensive training compared to them. Hes got his time in Fortuna, but that really wasnt anything special. In 4 and moreso in 5, we see that most of his attacks and shit are just raw strength and natural skill, not efficient training. He literally has a combo where he just slams the edge of the sword into the ground over and over and over until he kills what hes going for.
@@TheDangerNoodle That's true, like I said Vergil needs to fix that. Even with Red Queen being such a big blade, Vergil could probably help Nero have more finesse than Dante could ever have. First though Vergil would have to earn Kyrie's forgiveness for ripping off her lover's arm.

I don’t know if this is anything new or not since I started with 5, but at the end of the purple sludge dude’s fight when they swap weapons, the adopt each others fighting style. It also happens near the end of the last cutscene in 5.

I get the feeling that if there is a next game. Mundus will return and they're gonna follow him out of hell and the twins are finally gonna settle down. One meets his grandson or granddaughter, the other meets his nephew's son or niece. Since they age slowly, the kid might be in their teens. So there will be 6 demon slayers total.

Man I've been getting a lot of dmc content after i watched that vergil chair video, and after all of that video i just find out that you can change style mid battle in DMC 3 while i thought that it can only be changed at the statues
yep, combat styles are now switchable in the middle of a hit string for the past couple of games. it makes the combat very dynamic if you put some time into learning the different styles and seeing if you can string a long hit combo together.
