My heart is so broken for Kelly Nelon ,Husband and Daughter and the 4 other souls lost in the plane crash on way to a Gather Gospel Cruise to spread the Gospel though testimony and song.They lost their lives 7-26-2024. God Bless their Families, Friends and the lived they touched with their Music Ministry. I Know they're at peace singing praises to our King Jesus Christ.
At 74yo I am here to tell that the road we walk has never been harder, we need Jesus to walk with us more than ever and we were made for these dark days. Rejoice for even if we can't feel Him, He never leaves us nor forsakes us🕊
I grew up around this time can’t believe Kelly’s gone she’s with her dad now. Scripture tells us that every hair on your heads numbered thank God for every day you have left because you don’t know how much time you have. Only the father knows earthly life will be missed. I hope to see her one day at the Blessed Hope, tell her on earth how much she inspired me to reach my dreams rip Kelly until you heard Jesus give that shout the way the world is nowadays it’ll be sooner than later. My prayers are with the family as they suffer through this tragedy.
One of my mentors and friends isn’t expected to make it through the day. He’s been a gem of a man of God and a minister. He was a great singer and guitarist as well. He played his old Gibson acoustic and sang this song many times. Chill bumps and tears every time he did it. 89 years old. Over a half century of gospel ministry. Doctors aren’t expecting him to make it through tonight. He has refused the vent and signed his DNR. Bro. Leroy Jones will soon see Jesus face to face. His “morning” is coming. This song sure blessed my heart in the office this morning. God bless!

I Heard this song in Church this morning for the first time as a duet by Two Young Lady Church Members. As soon as I got home I had to find the lyrics and sheet music for the song I've down loaded the Lyrics I guess I will need to pay for the sheet music If I intend to learn to play it. Ah,the good old days of traveling southern gospel singers. Who could forget the hype,the glamor ,the showmanship of emotionanly raw sustained notes and dry country humor. Many of these traveling flimm flamm men and women were some of my child hood heroes. My uncle being one of them,and boy did he ever tell me the raw truth about what went on on the busses traveling from town to town. The affairs,liquor,drugs,and sex from town to town. I am not saying the nelons were like that,but there has been many successful gospel star that has gone down the sin paved pathway to adultry,fornication and ruin of thier lives and ministry and others they were involved with. Shameful
