I remember and loved the group. Think this is in the late 80's, Jerry Thompson, Karen Peck, Kelly Nelon, Rex Nelon. Todd Nelon on the bass and Jeff Stice on he piano. Rex Nelon was one of the finest, greatest Christian Man and bass singer that I have ever known. Southern Gospel Music is not the same without him.
i have listen to them for along time. i remember when they came to ohio. i meet them in person at my old church. beautiful ladies. and when i found out that rex died it sorrow my heart. rest in peace my friend
Michael Barrett yeah but the pianist was playing around a little bit too much God says to keep things in order as long as it wasn't the whole concert that was this silliness going on but it was a bit over the top.
No, it's called having fun! but I doubt you know what that means. Not all of us who attend concerts like this like singers acting like a bunch of stiffs.
I love the Nelons but they drug this song out so much I didn't enjoy this performance. I wish they would do a better arrangement. They are wonderful singers I met the Nelons in Kentucky when they first started liked them then love them now.
I love The Nelons - Always the same! God bless you!
Going to miss the nelons, kelly and rex was great singer and full of god

They were having some fun while praising God. You don't have to be a stick in the mud to worship God!
