Living in Canada, I'm grateful to have access to frozen organic fruits from Costco. They're so much more affordable than other grocery stores. I use them frozen in smoothies but I also thaw them for use in salad dressings. Their organic greens are also much less expensive. They even have organic chia and hemp seeds. Even in sub zero temperatures, we can do this.
This is a very lavish healthy life style...I would be broke before I start seeing my skin glow lol... Fruits in NYC is expensive (depending on market store and what fruits are in season) dates alone is expensive too! :( no vegan dieting for me. But I love watching your channel esp. juices!
I'm going to try this lifestyle Kristina, I'll tell you how my first day went tomorrow. I live in Trinidad and Tobago, where fruits are expensive and I'm a full time law student so I have to budget my money carefully.

FullyRawKristina So far the only fruit I can get are oranges, apples, cucumbers, bananas and dates. But I'm not desperate, cause I'm looking forward to summer and all the amazing variety it can give. Plus I have access to lots of greens, which is amazing. And in a week the strawberry season begins, I'm so excited!
Where do you preferably obtain fruits and vegetables now since your Co-op is closed? Do you focus on organic produce or you do not mind buying conventional at all?
Thanks Kristina, I have printed out the list. This is very helpful because of the variety. We seem to get stuck in a rut with maybe three or four different fruits and vegetables and forget about others.
thanks, Kristina!!! After watching your inspirational videos my salads became bright and yummier!!! My husband told me today when we were in the shop, that in the grocery he spends most of the time of being in the city.
I understand that there may be cheaper ways to do this, but I calculated the price for one month living like this in Norway. 1522 USD (not buying in bulk). I may at most spend 295 USD on Food in a month. Living raw would be a luxury. I think I'll just continue my oatmeal for breakfast and soup from frozen vegetables with beans for dinner.
Ida Johannessen Nah produce is cheap! I can go to Aldi’s & spend $70 for 8 full bags of fruits & veggies that last a week & a half. There’s also places where you can buy in bulk if you’re in a big city & spend less!
Watching this in January 2015 & just bought a box of 30 Local Organic Bowen Mangoes (some might say the best variety in the world 😉) for $10 from a roadside stall. Best deal ever!
I live in the UK at the moment and I literally just spent just under £200 for one week of fruits and veggies. And this was from a farm that offered me a bit of a discount. Does anyone have tips for broke students to properly save money on food? I'd need to halve this amount at the very least for it to be a feasible option for me after this challenge.
wow! that really is alot of food! When you said it seemed like alot i figured the bottom of the fridge would be full and maybe some counters. I did not expect it to be so much!
I am so glad I came across your videos. I started a raw vegan diet last week and I am beginning to see great results. The main reason that got me into this way of eating is due to a skin disease called rosacea. My face was very puffy, bumpy, and red, but as of today, it is less puffy And it doesn't hurt as much.
I see a lot of your gorgeous peeps leaving your emails in the comments, but be SURE to submit your email in the link in the description of the video so that you are able to get the ebook and all of the info sent to you! Hugs!

It's not at all wierd Sis 😉 I started 5 years ago (as a 15 year old) 😊 Worked really well for me 😊 Already started with it again to start the new year with a boom 💥 Anyways 😊 Have a blessed day and a happy new year 🙏
This shopping list is what has helped me throughout this challenge! I had no idea where to start and now every time I go grocery shopping I use your list as a guide. Thanks so much you're awesome! God Bless :)
Kristina, having this shopping list is a great help and I don't feel pressure to purchase everything on this list in order to start out on your Raw Food Diet but only what I can afford. THANK YOU!!!!
It would be great to have actual recipes for the whole shopping list for the whole week for people like me..... sorta like raw food recipes for dummies.
This Challenge ist awesome! Is the shopping list for one person? And for how much days? Why do I have to live in such a cold climate. This amount of fruit and veggies would cost me so much! Instead of to be fully raw, I'm doing raw-till-4 and want to include one fully raw day. It a bit cheaper :D But I'm looking foreward to your videos :)
Great video! Very helpful! When I first time watched it it seemed to me A LOT OF FOOD. Today is my 17 day and just now I understand that 6 heads romaine is not much - 1 head every day, 10 heads of kale is not much - 2 heads a day, 3 bunches of cilantro is not much-1/2 head a day, 3 stalks celery is not SO much- 1/2 stalks a day, 3 bags spring mix- 1/2 bag a day- sum 4 1/2 heads GREENS A DAY which is not as much - 3 heads in morning smoothy and 1 1/2 in the evening salad.
I'm sooo happy!!!!!! Thanks much for all you are giving. I just did a smoothie with persimons, strawberries, bananas, dates and raw hemp seed and I am flying. Everybody have a great day.
Very helpful video for gauging how much food will be necessary to eat fully raw. I love your video backgrounds as they are as bright and cheerful as you are.
i'm gonna do my best but i don't have all these things around here but, i'm excited! and it's exactly what i need - i gained the 6-8lbs i lost over the summer back when i started my new job in August
In Spain where I live there are fruit and veggie shops everywhere. There are about 10 of them within 5 to 10-minute walk from my home, so I do my shopping every day or every other day.
Bananas for sure. I need to try some new and different fruits and veggies too. I had never had a date until I watched that root beer float video you made.
Thank you for this and the previous videos. I do not buy as much fruits as I should which is probably why I stopped eating raw vegan a couple months ago. I went to the farmers market yesterday and brought more fruit!
Thank you so much! This helps me alot! I'm very new at this and still haven't started a raw diet but going to soon. I wasn't sure what to buy or how much to buy. The list helps me alot!

Yay for a shopping list! That is a lot of food, so I think I might need to start smaller (and what my budget right now), but I am determined to make more room for raw fruits + veggies in my life!
Having a shopping list every time I go to market really helps me not forget key things I use often, but forget to purchase. I hate to be in the middle of a great recipe and I'm missing one essential thing!
Now I am hungry. Nice video! My favorite raw vegetable meal is the salad with roman lettuce, tomatoes, broccoli, onions, cucumber, beets, cauliflower with Italian salad dressing. I do enjoy mangoes and watermelons and most fruits! Thank you for your videos!
