I can't thank you enough. I am full of so much energy and rise up so early in the morning to start chopping and blending. I do hope my neighbors don't mind. I have most of the items listed and they do help. Chop chop. I feel wonderful!!!!!!!
I am so excited to get started! Will the day 1 video be available on Sunday or will each video be posted that morning? I really need to be able to prepare for each day the night before. Thanks
Hey, Kristina! I started my raw journey on November last year and it has given me strengh, a lot of self confidence and a very positive attitude! Thank you for inspiring us to be the healthiest and happiest people! Love, Eri
In ayurveda they say iron utensils are best as they infuse food with iron which is good for blood count. But yes they do say don't leave your food in them for hours or days. They are good to cook in but not to store food.
Video/recipe request -- I would really love to see a video/recipe for an energy like bar. Something that's packed full of lots of calories for its size for the peeps that can't eat a huge amount of foods right off the bat or work long hours with short lunches. Thanks
I read reviews that the vitamix was releasing teflon bits into smoothies! They have not fixed the issue. Look it up. Does anyone have a Vitamix alternative?
Other blenders? There's lots. Just go to your local appliance shop/ department store/megamart and find something that's got settings or blades for the different ways you want your food chopped up. There's likely one that isn't Vitamix that fits the bill.
I have all of those appliances except for the wooden utensils and bowls. Can't wait to get them! Very interesting facts about the wooden utensils not removing the positive ions of the food... Makes sense. Having the right tools really makes eating clean a little simpler and more fun! Investing in one's health it's the way to go. Thanks again!
My lifestyle has a lot of changing...first clear the past before adopting the new. I'm blissed out to clean out what no longer serves my highest vibration so liquid sunlight can fuel my body. Thank you Kristina!!!
+Shadia Jonas I personally have a Montel Williams Health Master and it does a great job. I have done her challenges and am very happy with the outcome and learned that it is useless trying to get any answer from Kristina or whoever answers her posts if you have any questions along the way, even though she mentions "if you have any questions, post them below". I see many questions here and no answers to follow, how sad, very discouraging. I guess being a public figure takes away all time for the followers, so I gave up and am figuring it out on my own, doing my own research as I go. I don't want to sound negative and don't mean to but its hard for a beginner, you want someone to hold your hand and walk you through until you can say "ah, yes, I got it".I don't like the twitter, snapchat, pinterest or all the social networks, they only take your whole day and keep you from being with family and friends. RUclips is my favorite, you can learn lots here especially if you don't have money. Much success to you Shadia...take care, God bless...Marissa
I think that a lot of the time those who live in a more developed country find that we can afford things if we set our priorities straight! I encourage you to re-evaluate your spending and see how you can cut back on things maybe unnecessary shopping, or eating out... etc. trust me when you really want something, you sacrifice for it. I just bought one
Thank you so much for this video. You are making this very easy to do. I love that you show what you have and are honest in saying we dont "need" these items.
thank you Kristina. Tomorrow O'Neill start my 21 day challenge, well I will start today, but I will get ready downturn says to come. Thank you so much for all this recipes.
I've been thinking of trying the vegetarian/vegan lifestyle as I could definitely see myself making that transition. As ever I love watching your videos and cannot wait to get my hands on your book! So amazingly inspired by your journey.
I have all these gadgets and they are the best thing it has happen to my kitchen!!!! Having a julienne peeler is a great alternative for a spiralizer!!
Hi Kristina. This is a a really helpful video for newbies. I especially like the visuals to help us see the different tools we can add to our kitchen. One of the best investments that I have is the juicer. I also have the spiralizer, which I intend to use more creatively.
Thanks again. I bought my vitamix over a year ago and it is the most used appliance in my kitchen. Definitely recommend buying one, a great investment.
The multi-colored spiral salad at 5.04 stole my heart... almost looked like my national flag.. the cherry tomatoes on the circumference are too cute to eat!
The more kitchen appliances you have, the more variety you can bring to your raw meals, which makes it more interesting and easier to persist on the raw food diet. I have all these and also a dehydrator, and it makes eating raw every day a breeze.
Thank you for helping me understand what kitchen appliances to use when cooking fully raw! I have bough the juicer so far and plan to add the other appliances as I am able to. It takes time to change the way I eat but I have been working on it for a couple years now and I am getting better at it each year. Thank you for your help!
Thank you again and again!!! I've bought Omega juicer horizontal, and i am sooo happy, i can make juice of what i want: greens, any kinds of fruits and vegetables!!!! That's awesome!!!!

Going to get the spiralizer, looks like so much fun!
Glad you shared all your kitchen gadgets with us. Having them would step up the fun in the kitchen. As for me I have a breville juicer that I love, but still need the vitamix.
Investing in one's health makes sense! And having the right tools really makes eating clean easier and more fun! Thanks for the tips. I still need to get wooden bowls and utensils. Interesting fact about the positive ions on the food!
Kristina you should try ceramic knives, they last really long without needing sharpen AND they keep the fruit you cut longer without turning brown. Love from Chile!
These are great essentials to have. I found a few good smaller knives years ago but I could some larger ones and I have thought of a Japanese knife to get. I have most of the other essentials you mentioned but one that I don't have is the spiralizer and I think that would be awesome to have!!! Grating the veggies is not the same as what you have. Thanks for planting the seed.
So this video definitely helped to make sure I was on the right path to being prepared as well as opening my eyes to something new. I had never heard of a spiralizer until now and I so look forward to purchasing one! Keep up the good work doll! God Bless :)
I recently purchased a Vitamix and I'm so glad I did. I've been able to consume more fresh fruits and veggies than before! I especially LOVE making Kristina's watermelon juice. Yum.
I bough a blender and processor in one! The spirlizer great! And although it's so simple I'm really into my hand lemon juicer. Thanks for tips on cutlery and straws never did think about it before.
I watch these kinds of videos at 2 am and I can't stop. Help. Tell me I'm not alone
Keep in mind that you don't really need ANY of these things. Fruit is ready to eat! Messy fingers are kinda cool! ;)
You are such a girl after my own heart
Girl I am sending u the BIGGEST hug right now! I'd wrap you like a burrito lol! 💗
Bahahah! sooo excited! ying.jade@gmail.com
I really wish i had a spiralizer. Can i get it online? :)
Hilde Eirin Lohne
Yes, we bought one on Amazon.com.
One day I will get a Vitamix! We have been fully raw on a $9.00 blender for 10 months. It is still going strong. :)
I can't thank you enough. I am full of so much energy and rise up so early in the morning to start chopping and blending. I do hope my neighbors don't mind. I have most of the items listed and they do help. Chop chop. I feel wonderful!!!!!!!
Thank you for sharing. My hubby wants a spiralizer too now - he couldn't get over how cool it is!!
The challenge starts Sunday! I hope you're excited! :o)
I will be waiting!!!!
Yeah, waitiiiiiing :-)
can't wait Kristina!!!!! :)
can't wait!!!
I am so excited to get started! Will the day 1 video be available on Sunday or will each video be posted that morning? I really need to be able to prepare for each day the night before. Thanks
Can you please do and updated video about this?
I need a spiralizer! The rest I can make do with what I have, but I def should get a spiralizer!! Good tip!!
Thank-you for all the healthy tips and tricks Kristina!
Hey, Kristina!
I started my raw journey on November last year and it has given me strengh, a lot of self confidence and a very positive attitude!
Thank you for inspiring us to be the healthiest and happiest people!
Love,
Eri
Thnku! Exactly what i was looking for! It's been a few years since you posted this, so any updates for 2019, on kitchen essentials?💕👌
I don't have a blender but I do got a real good food processor
Exactly what type of Vitamix do you have?there's several varieties
This is so helpful. Thank you for making it so easy to follow. You are a model of good health! What a glow in your skin and sparkle in your eyes!
I really love this woman. This video has helped me with creating my own "Raw" kitchen.
Question: If metal utensils remove positive ions from food, do the blades of the blender do the same or not?
but it is steel blades right, could that be called a metal?
In ayurveda they say iron utensils are best as they infuse food with iron which is good for blood count. But yes they do say don't leave your food in them for hours or days. They are good to cook in but not to store food.

Thank you!
Thank you for the strainer idea, my juices are no longer crunchy!
Keep up the great work, your helping a lot of people making better choices for there health. Thank You!
Needed to come back and re-watch all of the videos - they are so good! Thank you Kristina.
VITAMIX!
I read reviews that the vitamix was releasing teflon bits into smoothies! They have not fixed the issue. Look it up. Does anyone have a Vitamix alternative?

Blendtec is the other alternative to VItamix
👍💖
I have an Omniblend V. Does everything the Vitamix does. Has 7-year warranty etc.
Do you think Ninja blender is an ok substitute for the Vitamix? Vitamix is out of my price range :)
I bought mine from AliExpress. It is superb. 8 times less price than vitamix
Awesome! My kitchen staples are cutting boards, good knives, my blender and my juicer! They're so versatile.
Starting day after Thanksgivng and hoping to not stop after 21 days.
I really want wooden utensils now ;)
I can't afford a vitamix blender could I use a different blender?
My lifestyle has a lot of changing...first clear the past before adopting the new.
I'm blissed out to clean out what no longer serves my highest vibration so liquid sunlight can fuel my body. Thank you Kristina!!!
I love my vitamix! It is NOT just a blender! A spiralizer is also wonderful for getting kids involved in the kitchen
I cannot afford a vitmax at all, do you recommend any other blenders?

Thank you so much for this video. You are making this very easy to do. I love that you show what you have and are honest in saying we dont "need" these items.
But the strainer is metal .. ? whats the point then ?
Honey Dee metal doesn't remove positive ions... Her knives are metal, too. Pretty much everything else is spot on though!
My Vitamix is absolutely my favorite tool. But I am loving my sprializer more and more!
Great video....so glad hubby is a chef. We have a fully stocked kitchen.
