I somehow outdid this. I play a *Khajiit* that's in the Imperial Legion, serves the Imperial Cult, loves Tiber Septim, and is soon going to kick his backside.
I enjoyed playing as an Imperial, besides it reflects my nation history, it sort of feels like a being a sworn enemy to Dagoth, until he said about joining his forces i kinda consider it😅😅( who wouldn't)
it was always a huge bummer you couldn't take that option. I mean sure - they need the canon ending but they undanon ones for Daggerfall and as far as I know Battlespire too. Dagoth surely is twisted and that whole blight/corprus stuff is super fucked up but he seemed less of a bastard and mord honest than Vivec. He didn't betray you after all.
I feel guilty because I played Morrowind and beat is as an Imperial. It is just, they are the best class to use persuasion skills with. Well in my case it was getting into dialogues and picking fights. Getting someone else to throw the first punch is top tier skill in the game. You can avoid certain faction mishaps, or just loot people once they are knocked out. Not sure if that is a common Imperial tactic in negotiation in lore.

Neravar has to show up as an orc femboy now, just so I can hear what Dagoth says.
And, because of this how Dagoth reacts to non-Dunmer Nerevar, Nerevar will always show up as non-Dunmer to just mess with him!
