Thanks for this video. This is very helpful info. What kv are the motors? If you wanted to pursue this further it would be interesting to compare to the new lower pitch Gemfan props designed for higher kv motors. Maybe test everything on 25000kv or 27000kv motors.
I was using only 18,000kv on this one so not high power on the kv. I’m planning on making a video comparing the new Gemfans and I will be using 27,000kv motors.
So I'm curious about how close the blades come to the duct on the HQ. One reason I'm not a fan of the Gemfan Oreo prop is that they almost touch the ducts and if your ducts get a little warped, they start to rub. I've had less of an issue with this on currently available HQ props.
Epic video my dude, glad you liked ours! Let’s keep innovating. Cheers, Mike.
Thanks for your kind words and support! 👊🏼
Thanks for the info, very helpful for decision making
Thanks for watching! Glad it was helpful.
Agreed dude. Tri blades in general are just brutal to take off. Azi props forget about it. A nuclear blast won't take them off 😜
Haha i know… I want the new whoop prop tool from tinywhoop! Then it wouldn’t be hard.
Well done! You put in some work on this one! Now it’s on HQ to process you feedback. This is a prototype after all…
Thanks man, appreciate it! Yes hopefully they tweak them a bit 🤞🏼

@@wynnfpv Excellent! That is exactly what I was hoping for!

Hey, I can send you photos of both if your on FB messenger. I didn’t have issues with them hitting the duct.
i think your current sensor was not properly calibrated, 65 whoop typically draw 2.5 - 6 Amps, even more on higher kv motor
It might not have been. It’s been a while since I made this video. Maybe time for an updated one haha
T motor 3 blades are not bad ...for me 😏
I need to try those! I’ve heard good things about them!
