You are lucky that was not a big battery. It finished pretty fast. Q bigger battey would be impossible to put out as it has its own oxygen for burning. Also remember the gas that the battery puts out is very toxic.

Something like this happened to me as well. GOT TO BE SAFE WITH LIPO BATTERIES. Every since my incident I make sure I charge and transport my batteries in lipo bag. My whole Mojave 6S caught on fire prior to a bash. We live and learn, just glad I wasn’t in house and not a kid. PLEASE REMEMBER WATER DOES NOT WORK ON ELECTRICAL FIRES
