Dear Gillian, I watch every video but sometimes can't find the words to describe how they make me feel so I don't comment. Here where I live in the Northern part of U.S., we have had tornadoes, rain, rain, rain and dark snowy days. Dearest Gillian, I am in San Francisco, CA US. My mother passed away 2 days ago. I spoke with her every evening at the nursing home. I played your videos while speaking with her because they are beautiful, charming, funny and soothing and I would describe to my mother what I was seeing. She laughed and laughed about Charlie and his kapows on Chubbers. That was the last time she laughed. Thank you for sharing these enchanting images with all of us. I love snow and the quiet it brings with it. I live on a very busy highway and the sound of traffic all day and night is something that I am now use to. Its not until it snows, and there is very little to no traffic that I realize how nice the quiet is. I really enjoy the peacefulness of the quiet and the soft sound of snow falling. Your video captures that and I love it. Thank you for another trip to Ireland.

Life on an Irish farm is a unique experience that is deeply rooted in tradition and hard work. The farm is not just a place to work, but also a place to live and raise a family.
Each day on the farm begins early, with the sound of roosters crowing and the sun rising over the rolling green hills. Farmers start their day by feeding and caring for their animals, whether it be cows, sheep, or chickens. They also tend to their crops, planting seeds, weeding, and harvesting fruits and vegetables.
Throughout the day, there is always something to be done on the farm. From repairing fences to fixing machinery, there is never a dull moment. Farmers work long hours, often from dawn till dusk, but the satisfaction of seeing their hard work pay off is worth it.
Life on an Irish farm is not always easy, especially when the weather is unpredictable or market prices are low. But the sense of community and camaraderie among farmers is strong, and they support each other through good times and bad.
At the end of the day, farmers gather around the kitchen table for a hearty meal, sharing stories and laughter with their family. Life on an Irish farm may be hard work, but it is also filled with love, laughter, and a deep connection to the land.

I live in the tropics and we are having a heatwave 🌞...i can just imagine sitting under the trees and letting the snow fall on me. We also have cows goats, chickens, ducks and 4 dogs. So i know no matter what the weather is like, there is lots to do. Thank you for this, so mellow and soothing

Finally a channel with "slow living" that looks halfway interesting. Usually it's a long-haired woman in a white dress meandering around with a basket that turns out to have no real use. They always end up at some pristine kitchen table drinking a cup to herb tea and staring into the distance. Here instead we have the wide countryside, animals munching away, a person actually doing something useful and enjoying work, a spectacular sky. I see what you like about your home, your animal friends, and your work. That's utterly unique in this most-often deadly-boring idea of "slow" living" -- that when you come down to it isn't all that "slow" but just a way of knowing you're content. Contented living.
Thank you, and you couldn’t have summed up slow living any better . It has become a term nowadays applied to an unattainable and staged aesthetic for clicks and likes. Contentment in hard work and an honest and sustainable way of living is the true meaning of it. My videos are never staged but just show how I live my real life day to day, and to show that you don’t need a lot to be happy, but celebrate the life you have and the small, seemingly insignificant things in it. I let my surroundings do the talking and allow the viewer to experience it as I would, without the distraction of a woman in period costume running in slow motion through the fields!💕

Winter is one of my favorite seasons, and I just loved being there in that winter wonderland, even if only through a screen. I enjoy walks like you in the snowfall and especially the snow that sticks to the woods and the "crunch" under the feet. Snowfall like this always takes my mind to Robert Frost ( my favorite poet) and his several lines he pinned in Stopping By The Woods On A Snowy Evening. " The only other sounds the sweep of easy wind and Downey flake." My favorite poem by him.
God bless you and your husband for your love of your land and the love and kindness to your ladies, the calves, and your fur babies !!! Farming is hard work. My brother farmed, and as you said, the work never stops. He loved it too.
Here in central Pa. We are having lots of rain. I'm visiting my daughter an hour away . My granddaughter turns 4 on March 19, so a party is being planned.

Thanks for the stroll in the snow...We have had more snow than usual this winter as well.... In your video, The blooming gorse peeking through the snow was beautiful. I have always liked gorse, even though it was responsible for burning the entire city of Bandon Oregon, (a state away) in 1936 and again what fueled fires there for every decade since the 80s. It's an invasive species, but beautiful and menacing at the same time. :)
So glad you enjoyed it! Yes, it’s the same here with gorse, we try to remove some each year and it keeps coming back. Dry, hot summers always set it on fire, especially in the mountains. I do adore it’s wonderful coconut smell though and of course the vivid yellow is a welcome sight at this time of year!✨🥰💕☘️

Your channel has become my favorite channel here on RUclips. I love how peaceful and calm your videos are and how beautiful the videography of the gorgeous scenery is. Those have to be some of the best kept and cleanest cows I have ever seen. What an enjoyable place to call home. Your creations are simply stunning. And we both use the same body wash (it’s my favorite). If you ever did a tiny home on your property where one could feed the cows and get a jewelry making tutorial (and a visit to the local pub for a nice meal and a chat) then I would come visit 😊 I miss visiting my grandparents in Ireland (by Kilkenny).

Beautiful video Gillian - always nice to see what's happening in your part of the world. I can understand trying to find time to film during calving season. I have a sister in Colorado who has a ranch and I know when calving season hits, everything else takes a back seat! It's amazing how quickly the weather can change. Snow was lovely to watch .

It's interesting to see life on a farm but also how you still find the energy to make beautiful art , being an artist myself I know what a challenge it can be sometimes to combine everything . Even though it's snowy and white this makes me feel like spring really is here, the calves are so sweet and cute! And that snow... here in NY on Long Island we had one day of proper snow that sort of dragged itself out in bits for a few days, but no nice long coating like you've got.
Yes! It was so strange, one day covered in thick fluffy snow, the next day completely gone! At least we didn’t have the slushy mess it usually leaves 🤭❄️🌨💕
