"Join me, Pickle and Pumpkin for a magical walk down to the boglands, where the Fae dwell beneath the willows, and the mists drifts silently across the shoulders of the drumlins. I then warm up in the studio with a coffee, and pack a very special order.
In the farmhouse, I'll be cooking one of my favourite autumnal meals Colcannon, which is inspired by my Dad, who always cooked this traditional Irish dish for us at Halloween. We round off the day by the cosy fireside, accompanied by candlelight and stories.

✿ Gillian's Colcannon Recipe ✿
Wash and peel 4-5 large potatoes, then boil until soft. Drain, and mash them until crumbly. Then and add a splash of milk, and dollop of butter, and mash until incorporated. Sprinkle in freshly ground pepper and Himalayan pink salt. Cover with a lid to keep warm.
In a small pan sauté some chopped onion with a small knob of butter. Once soft and golden, add to the mashed potato.
In another pot add washed curly kale to salted water, make sure to remove the chewy stalks. Boil until tender, and then drain and mix in through the mashed potato. Finally, fry 1-2 eggs for each person. When cooked to your liking, place the egg/s on top of each serving of the colcannon.
You can enjoy the colcannon as is, or serve as a side to a bacon joint or sausages for a more filling and complete meal. 🥰

First and foremost, let me compliment you on this fabulous production! It is my favorite video of all that I have seen so far since I began following your page a few months ago. Your creations, both in physical form with your jewelry and in visual form with your videos, are all inspiring to me. There is a real deep rooted feeling that comes over me when I experience your daily existence. It is so similar to mine, yet I am on the complete other side of the world. I feel it link me back to my ancestors. As I watch one of your videos I feel motivation to fill my days with things of similar accomplishment. We shared lives with a kitty who would come when we whistled for him, and sit when I asked. My sister, (a dog person) just couldn't believe it! He would get this smug little look on his face, (much like Charlie) as if to say: "You would be stunned to know how high my IQ is..."
