Your presentations reduce me to tears. They are exquisite! I so enjoy the beauty of the English country villages. I have always wanted to go there. I had an aunt who was born in London and she would tell me about her sister's beautiful back garden. Her sister had agoraphobia and her gardens were her life. They are all gone now and I am at an age that it is highly unlikely that I will ever be able to see these sights in person. I wish I could inhale the scents and aromas of the garden you share with us. I sit here with tears streaming down my face at the beauty. Thank you from the bottom of my heart ♥ . God bless you both. Love you both ❤
Funnily enough I'm watching this wonderful video with a painting on my wall of the Periwinkle Tea room by my very talented Mother in law Susie Summers. She lives in Porlock and paints many beautiful pictures of all the places you have been to! She used to live in Stoney Street Luccombe where you started the video off. The 1990s children's tv series was filmed in Bossington - I'm pretty sure where you bought the apple juice was the home of George in the programme. Selworthy church is beautiful. What a shame the weather wasn't sunny as the view from the porch is one of the most breathtaking views ever. In August the church has a flower show which is beautiful. I do hope you both will visit the area again in better weather as you didn't see it at it's best! Xx
Oh I SO LOVE this, that's amazing. We loved Luccombe and Stoney Street so much, it was honestly unreal. I agree, the view from Selworthy Church is absolutely gorgeous. We even enjoyed it in the rain but on a clear day - simply breathtaking.
Went to Dunster in 2004 with my daughter & dog. We stayed in a lovely B&B in a small hamlet named Kilve which was also delightful & had a lovely tearoom with gorgeous homemade soup! Worth a visit.
I’m only just watching this! We came here 33 years ago when I’d just found out I was expecting my first son. We came to see where Poirot ‘ A Cornish Mystery’ was filmed. Obviously they decided to film it here rather than Cornwall but it is a lovely historic village. Thank you for taking me back here! Such memories!
Thanks but there were people everywhere. Many sadly forget that in these tiny villages where only a couple of hundred people live you can’t just film others without their consent, it’s a privacy issue and we respect people’s privacy.
When I think of England this is exactly what my imagination conjures.....stone cottages capped by thatch , enveloped in lush, English cottage gardens ,,,,,,thanks for the lovely tour the only problem with your videos is that I'm always hungry at the end , must be seeing all those wonderful tea room meals ha ha !!

I can not express in words how I appreciate you doing these weekend trips and letting me daydream about being there too ! I love a sunny Spring in Selworthy, you can sit in the Periwinkle tea shop, watch the mist rise in the valley below, and listen to birdsong in the woodland behind you, all the time enjoying a cream tea. Heaven on earth does exist.

🙏Thanks Kristen and Joerg for the beautiful video! Sitting at home can watch God's incredible creation of Experience the Magic of English Country side! Wonderful and Gorgeous! God Bless!👍🌺🏚️ The villages were very unique❤️🤗❤️
It’s nice to see that such fairytale villages really do exist! Thank you for this wonderful video.
Xx
The TV series was The Famous Five xx
Oh I SO LOVE this, that's amazing. We loved Luccombe and Stoney Street so much, it was honestly unreal. I agree, the view from Selworthy Church is absolutely gorgeous. We even enjoyed it in the rain but on a clear day - simply breathtaking.
Beautiful couple you both are, I can feel how you both cherish your exploring and working film editing for us all. Thank you ! Much appreciated.
THE BIRDS, THE BELLS, THE BOUQUETS! WARM FUZZY RATING... A 10..!!! TU JORGE AND KIRSTEN! 😊
Thank YOU so much!
Went to Dunster in 2004 with my daughter & dog. We stayed in a lovely B&B in a small hamlet named Kilve which was also delightful & had a lovely tearoom with gorgeous homemade soup! Worth a visit.
Oh, how I love the light yellow color with the thatched roof! I can only dream to live there! 🌻
Died and gone to heaven I have! Looking into visiting this glorious place !!! Thank you both for paving the way ❤
You are respectful of the privacy of the people in the villages..well done!!!
True fairytale beauty! Completely adore these beautiful villages. Thank you so much.
Our pleasure!
Lovely villages, beautiful gardens, stunning skies, and above all: peace ,but unfortunately no people are seen in this marvelous places!
How beautiful and tasteful!! 👍👍👍
Kiersten & Joerg what a lovely scenary
Hello Kirsten &Joerg, I absolutely enjoyed visiting all these lovely , charming, quaint villages, I just wish I was truly there better yet lived in quaint village !! I can not express in words how I appreciate you doing these weekend trips and letting me daydream about being there too ! I agree with Joerg about visiting the old churches and the history , reading the old tombstones so interesting! Blessings -Paula USA
I love a sunny Spring in Selworthy, you can sit in the Periwinkle tea shop, watch the mist rise in the valley below, and listen to birdsong in the woodland behind you, all the time enjoying a cream tea. Heaven on earth does exist.
Somerset looks so romantic. I think the rain makes it a serene place one can find a cozy spot for a cup of tea and a good book!
These are so adorable. They’re inspiring me to recreate something similar in the US. Gorg.
Dear Kirsten and Joerg, Again you've blown me away with this magnificent video. It's so mind blowing to think of a building from the 13th century. Australia where I am is just over 200 years old. So it's literally incredible to see such places here of centuries ago. It's truly magical. I love your umbrella Kirsten. It's so pretty. Everything looks so lovely there. The rain doesn't spoil the video at all. It adds ambiance. Thankyou both so much. Gorgeous. 👌💜♥️💚💛💙🧡😊
Thanks so much!

Thank you Kirsten and Joerg. Best travel guides. The BBC should take note and give you your own show!! xx
We are speechless- thank you so much for your kind words!
What lovely little villages, pulled right out of a children's fairytale book! Thank you for sharing, I felt like I was right there with you both! Cheers!
Thanks so much!
Are villages are so old I don’t think they were pulled out of a fairy book I think fairy tale villages were based on English villages !👍🏻🏴🌹
That sounds about right! :) @@tabitha4135
