My wife and I have traveled all over the UK in our caravan ,and I still can’t believe how beautiful our country is , there as been times when the view as brought a tear to my eye ,I’m sure I’m not the only one who has shed a tear of joy at the beauty of it all .

Yep I was a young ten-pound Pom who emigrated to Australia in 1966 with my family for an adventure, and now yearn to go back and pick up my heart. Australia hasn't got a patch on England, there are so many beautiful places I want to visit and so many things I miss, especially the historic buildings and houses and the countryside is heaven on earth.

My search for them has begun and who knows my dream to visit them and see Britain may come true yet ! My sister lives 2 1/2 hours away in Oxford and I plan on taking the train to Cardiff my next visit . The hardware in this cottage is dreamy! There isn't a corner that hasn't been addressed with beautiful (period style) hardware... the window sash pulls and locks are a whole series by themselves...! Amazing!

Oh Kirsten, the look of happiness in your face as you have finally been able to get away at long last. Hampshire is a beautiful county with all those lovely quaint thatched cottages. Your cottage is small but beautiful and I particularly like the fact the window in the sitting room is quite large so it lets in a good light. So many cottages have such small windows and can feel so dark inside. This lovely place shows that a home can be small in proportion but still stunning. I love the furnishing fabrics they have decorated the cottage with. Joerg looks so chilled out and relaxed too. I look forward to the next video.

The Flower Pot is a lovely pub, very small inside, but has the essence of an old time pub, sadly rare these days. Good food and a micro brewery. I grew up in Hants and have visited many times.

Even in urban London (out in the leafy suburbs), we get constant birdsong during the day. They start at about 5.30am so you don't need an alarm clock. They were even noisier during lockdown!
I fell in love with England at the early age of 18 right out of high school around 1970-ish when I was privileged to camp throughout East Africa. We stopped over in London and I was immediately smitten. I purposefully ended my African soujourn one week early so I could return to London to explore on my own. A year later, I had a chance return trip to England the end of March to early April. Oh, my goodness, I was in heaven! The gardens and blossoms were ethereal. I made it a point to quickly visit Amsterdam! Well, a year after that, I took off one entire semester of college to travel Europe, concentrating on my beloved England. As an Englsih major in college,we were already old friends. Now, here I am almost 70 years old! I have come into some money and I am saddened I can not return because of Covid. So, let me tell you, Kirsten and Jorerg, it delights my heart and memory to see both of you enjoy so much what I once did, too. Your videos mean so much to me! Thank you both for what you do! One day, we all visit together when this crazy mess is over. Goodness ... all these years and I never figured out to wrap the strings of tea bags around the handle. Brilliant! Again, thank-you both!

I think I'm now on my 7th English cottage video, with Kirsten and Joerg... and I'm addicted. I feel so relaxed, touring each house (and village) with them. The videos are fun, calm, peaceful, and engaging: I can feel my breathing slow, as I sink in and just enjoy the sights. I'm really not much of a "RUclips person," but I'm now recommending these videos to everyone I know! Delightful.

Oh Kirsten, the look of happiness in your face as you have finally been able to get away at long last. Hampshire is a beautiful county with all those lovely quaint thatched cottages. Your cottage is small but beautiful and I particularly like the fact the window in the sitting room is quite large so it lets in a good light. So many cottages have such small windows and can feel so dark inside. This lovely place shows that a home can be small in proportion but still stunning. I love the furnishing fabrics they have decorated the cottage with. Joerg looks so chilled out and relaxed too. I look forward to the next video.

The Flower Pot is a lovely pub, very small inside, but has the essence of an old time pub, sadly rare these days. Good food and a micro brewery. I grew up in Hants and have visited many times.

Even in urban London (out in the leafy suburbs), we get constant birdsong during the day. They start at about 5.30am so you don't need an alarm clock. They were even noisier during lockdown!

I fell in love with England at the early age of 18 right out of high school around 1970-ish when I was privileged to camp throughout East Africa. We stopped over in London and I was immediately smitten. I purposefully ended my African soujourn one week early so I could return to London to explore on my own. A year later, I had a chance return trip to England the end of March to early April. Oh, my goodness, I was in heaven! The gardens and blossoms were ethereal. I made it a point to quickly visit Amsterdam! Well, a year after that, I took off one entire semester of college to travel Europe, concentrating on my beloved England. As an Englsih major in college,we were already old friends. Now, here I am almost 70 years old! I have come into some money and I am saddened I can not return because of Covid. So, let me tell you, Kirsten and Jorerg, it delights my heart and memory to see both of you enjoy so much what I once did, too. Your videos mean so much to me! Thank you both for what you do! One day, we all visit together when this crazy mess is over. Goodness ... all these years and I never figured out to wrap the strings of tea bags around the handle. Brilliant! Again, thank-you both!
