"Lifting a cows tail so they don't kick" makes me feel like I've been let in on intimate professional folk knowledge, i.e. special. That's what good videos do. Kudos to you young good sir.
It’s snowing in PA too but videos have to be recorded, edited, watched, and uploaded so it may take some time for you to see them. I wear a t-shirt every day but sometimes I put something over it😂
Eric i have told you on many occasions that i speak cow. Those girls are so happy under the care of you, your dad & the farm staff. Unless you have cared for a herd of cows you cannot possibly know the level of commitment that is required to do so. I am so thankful for our farmers. I have enjoyed milk, cream, butter, ice cream, sour cream, & buttermilk all my life. We are a far greater and healthier country because of the tireless efforts and successes of our farmers. I always feel bad for the cows that have to leave your wonderful & beautiful farm. You, your family & farmers across our beloved America stay in my family's prayers.
I am curious and do not intend to make this political, but how much do regulations play a part in standards as good as shown here? Overall, would we see farms operating as impeccably as here if left to total and complete free market? p.s. I am personally laissez faire but also help run 2 small business and don't mind dealing with the red tape and oversight, just part of the job.
It's very stressful on the cow and if you have ever watched drug documentaries and how they lace chemicals in with the drugs to get "more" that is what we get for the milk we buy when they milk 3 times a day
Looks like you all have those conveyors working good, congrats, 10 minutes feeding is nice. I like how calm your cows are, they just do their thing while you all do yours. Great video, thanks for sharing, have a wonderful evening and week.
I'm about 8 hours west of your farm and I am wondering where that warm weather is? We had ground cover snow easter weekend. Shout out to Megan - what a great blessing to have someone dependable and who cares about the livestock. I know the hours are long, but I really appreciate the videos you share! Thank you Eric.
Best part of spring right now. Things are working smoothly for you folks it seems. I would bet Megan would win a milking contest. She has the moves down pat. Cheers 🇨🇦
Hey Eric this is Wayne from Tennessee I really enjoy your videos I watch them all the time I like that it shows the hard work that you and your dad and family do on the farm I like the way you care for your animals and take care of them and always thinking of their health and well-being as well as your own I do not comment much but I always watch keep up the good work I hope you all have a great year
The family had a small dairy farm in a large town, in the 40's to 50s. See you doing what they did then. As a very young child didn't understand much about it all, but seeing it with you explains it clearly. Thanks
I was just thinking due to my medical condition there are a lot of times where I'm up really early in the morning. I should be watching these videos really early in the morning you know just to get the ambience.
It is always fun to go along with you on your daily chores. You sure know your farming and the care you show the animals is stellar. Thanks so much for taking the time to make the videos for us to enjoy. It is truly appreciated. Love the new puppy. Jealous of the sunny, warm day there. It is snowing up here in Erie Pa.
Excellent video Eric! Nice to see the pup with the cows. Well trained. Rich green in the wheat fields. Looks like you're expecting a lot of calves soon. Enjoyed the video. Well done!
Eric, I’m your dads age, but I love watching all of your videos as it helps me appreciate those that do super-important work and work long hours. Most mornings I’m sleeping away as you awake and rise to do what must be done. Cute pup, BTW. Keep it up, and God bless you and your family.
Eric thank you for another great video. The feeding system looks great at the heffer barn. Thank you and your family for what you do to keep America fed. God bless you all.
Another Great Video Eric. Things are running like a good oiled machine. In my neck of the woods we’re having a spring blizzard, it’s -2C, snowing & wind at around 50km/hr with up to 25cm of snow forecasted by morning.💨 take care, stay safe.
Great awesome video Eric , love the conveyor set up , works good now . Honestly though I like feeding, milking and maintenance and field work videos the most , even if it’s boring to others I love it
Dairy farming has come quite a ways since I worked on my neighbors farm 50 yrs ago lot of hard work wished skid steers were around back then , I think they did`nt come out until 1970 ? It was kind of tough doing that work with front load tractors. My favorite part was turning the wind rows I would come back with a purple mouth.
Eric, you and your dad have a non-stop job. You two are so organized with the care of your cows. You two are a credit to your industry. Keep up the good work. How do you see out of those windshields. Lol. The cows will use pup as a soccer ball if he doesn't watch out. Stay safe.
when you sell a cow, how do you decide which ones to sell, and where are they usually sold to? is it the low producers/the older ones getting sold for slaughter? do they get sold to other dairy farms in the area, perhaps ones better suited to certain cows needs?
I just started watching your channel! Wow! Thank you so much for what you do & your family so we can have a glass of milk, cheese, steak, etc, etc, God Bless! ps Now I know why dairy & red meat are expensive.
Would you ever do a video on your genomic testing? We do it here and am interested to see what your selection process is to see if it is different from the UK. Enjoy your videos, keep up the good work 👍
love your vids! random request but do you think we can have a video about the selling market when you go sell some cows? I've always wonder how it work. Keep up the good work!

Love how your in a T shirt, im up in Western NY and it will NOT stop snowing here
It’s snowing in PA too but videos have to be recorded, edited, watched, and uploaded so it may take some time for you to see them. I wear a t-shirt every day but sometimes I put something over it😂
We had snow at Bristol Mountain today. And thumbs up for saying Western NY and not Upstate.
@@BrianB14471 I’ve noticed that everyone says upstate even when they are at the PA border
Good stuff. Thanks for posting!
Your puppy's already an excellent mouser!
I love how they just laid there like " Yeah dude we aint movin for nobody today"
awesome video Eric. Thank you so much
Seeing how clean the parlor and barns are is a very nice accomplishment! Shows your pride and professionalism!
Like the new puppy. My Jack Russell passed a month ago. Her name was Dairy as she looked like a dairy cow.
Thanks for sharing….

@@whyno713 Oh BIG TIME! These guys, I believe it was said at least once before, milk 3 times a day. That is not normal!

@@realemonful most farms milk 2x a day*
@@nielsrooiman772 And what did I say?
We had about five inches of snow here in Milton Pennsylvania. I was ready to start thinking about planting corn
Thanks again Eric. I love to see the girls jumping as they get on new grass.
Love the high speed footage of the manure spreader, looks like a manure dragster.
Enjoyed the video
It's amazing how much your grass is growing, we still have frost and snow in central Minnesota.
Another interesting video. Well done young farmer, hard working, professional, an inspiration to us all.

Always great content that is well presented. Thanks for taking us along.
Jack Russell's are bred for rodent hunting so chewing on the mouse tail comes naturally 😅
lol good call one the wireless mouse lol 👍
Thanks for taking us along. I always enjoy your videos. Learning things I never knew, too, so it's a win.
Manure is more valuable this year with the high cost of fertilizer.

Hello from Moosomin ,Saskatchewan, Canada Great videos you put out thanks for sharing.
Personally, I think you do more work before breakfast than a butt load of people do all day!
Walker likes seeing the pup!! She’s cute!
Nice man. Nice farm.

Good happy looking cows as a young farmer your tip on lifting the tail really helps because I didn't know that so thank you

That skid steer bucket's looking ready for a patch up job.
Staggering how clean the pack is coming out at 7:14.
Can't wait for the Tenth Gen TikTok, would be cool to see.

Has it been long enough to see improvements in udder and foot health since you added the alley cleaning robots?

I think safe to say all the work on the bed pack for the mums and sick cows worked great looked almost white powder(brown) lol
Wow never realized how much this channel has grown been here since 10k and never really looked after that now it's close to 400k crazy
When u reach 400000 subs u should do an interview with Megan
