My kids and I ran into Andre at the Galleria in Houston about 2 weeks ago. He was with a friend walking along and no one recognized him (he had a hat on), he was a normal person just strolling along the mall. I yelled "THE U" and he turned around and smiled. at me. My son (8 years old) is a big fan of football and Andre is one of his fav WR's and when he realized that it was Andre, he was star struck. Andre is the first famous sports athlete he has ever met, he couldn't believe it. I asked Dre, if we could get a picture with him and my son, and we did! Congratulated him on the induction, shook his hand and told him thank you! This was a moment my son will never forget and will forever cherish!
A true class act professional, a genuine and down to earth person, and now our one and only Texans HOF!! Much luv from theH!

Our Team wasn't always good but you sure made seam like it was all the time. We had bad years, but we also had Good Good Years with your spectacular playing. You do not know what you mean to me. To see how humble you are and to see how big you've become, it very very gratifying. My #80 Jersey was the first Jersey I ever bought amd it hangs proud.
