At first, I was going to offer some constructive criticism about how Half-Life's OST was a fair bit more industrial and less mysterious, but as I consider it more, it makes perfect sense to abandon a lot of the machine-type sounds and raw instrumentation in favor of Portal 2-style synth *IF* this music plays in and around the Borealis ship itself. I remain very impressed, in any case.
Sounds like a blend of Portal and Half-Life. Especially with the rhodes-piano-like instrument. Very fitting. Because after all, "Half-Life 3", "Episode 3", "Epistle 3" or in this case, "Project Borealis", is where the Portal and Half-Life stories are supposed to collide.

I can't hear the interval of that pitch but it creates a pretty dissonant sound. It might even be a pitch that creates a sound outside of the chromatic scale (for example a note between an E and an F, normal musical instruments like a piano do those sounds). And afterwards, the same pitch as in the beginning returns and there is no lower pitch ever again for those buzzes. Although you might be waiting for a recurring soundd. And these are weird things that don't occur often in music I dare say (weird pitch, only once used, not repeating again), but they work nicely for this kind of soundtrack.
The gravity gun and HEV suit are canonically developed by Aperture and then stolen by big black. same power source? supergravitygun alternative upgrade? there is some precedent

from the moment this was first posted in the first music reveal this one has been my favorite I'm not sure why but I think its the most fitting with the story and setting
I would buy this game if it came out on PS4 (when it comes out), simply because I would love to see what they would make for the cover with art this cool.
