Finally hl2 fan music that actually sounds like hl2 inspired music. Not just a match of samples and beats that make it sound like portal 2. It does remind me of Clint Mansell’s Doom a bit. But it’s not a bad thing. Perhaps if you go a bit harder on guitars and sound design it would sound even closer to Kelly’s style. But it’s very close already and it sounds unique, props to composer of this.

The style of drum and bass here is *exactly* Half-Life style. There's definitely extra influence on top of it, but the beating heart of Half-Life is unmistakably present.

Except this has an icy darkness to it that really speaks to me about Gordon and his struggles. This is the final stretch for our boy and we're here for him till the end.

I will be happy to purchase your full game, we all appreciate your hard work and effort to continue what Valve couldn't finish. I hope that this sends a message to Gabe Newell and his company that money talks, but most of all. Our passion for Half-Life's continuation and epic conclusion.
Im not going to lie, having this play in the background while playing Half-Life: Uplink along with the other soundtracks from Project Borealis was really good, it almost felt like the music was part of the game. Good job! I even showed gameplay of it to my classmates with the music playing in the background, they loved it and thought of being pictured inside a movie scene

Couple of years later : Boreal Alyph, Project Borealis, Guard Duty , Operation Black Mesa, Xen , Call of Chernobyl , STALKER 2. Law of attraction lvl 999. I'm feeling like Strelok at the Wish Granter. Should be careful what I wish for.

I think the mild Portal 2 vibes are extremely fitting, considering the fact that Epistle 3 had a huge focus on the Aperture Science Borealis.
