I always wanted to see how xen would look with current gen graphics, but it was never explored in any source mods. I'm glad the Borealis team is exploring it with their vision as well.

They are produced in the cytoplasm of the cell and released by the rupture of the plasma membrane. This reminds me of the weird alien life in Xen. Perhaps this song will be played in some type of Xen chapter.
My theory is that this plays in the chapter "Uncommon Descent", the cave chapter from update 5. In the level layouts we see some colorful lighting in a few cave segments that match up with the colors the xen flora glow in this concept art. Additionally there is a note on one of the level layouts that mentions an enemy the player 'can't fight yet' that they have to return to later. So i think this will play when you fight that creature.
I love it. It's perfectly in-line with the Half-Life series. With the quality and progress of the team's work, I am more and more certain that the project will be brought to completion. I was on the fence about joining the team but now I might just do it when there's an opening for my qualifications. Keep up the good work. It's shaping up to be a great game all-around.
