I can imagine this being used to add even more atmosphere to a scene. The long-tone tune that draws out gives a sense of somberness to what I can imagine must be a very grim moment. Someone important die? Ravenholm got even more spawn? What'd they do to this place? What is that? Who are they? These pass through my mind as I listen. Keep up the great work you guys.
I'm really excited to see how they handle the ending of epistle 3 where you see different planets and galaxies while you're on the Borealis and also to see what music they put with it to enhance the atmosphere

Father Gregory the Revenholm companion was there to push the player forward and to make him feel that he's not alone, thus this fantastic music will play the same role, (maybe I'm wrong). Father Grigori was the second best thing that happened in my hl2 gameplay. I was too scared shitting the shit out of my ass in that chapter, then he came and gave me (literally) power to continue. The only thing better than this was leading an army of antlions to save Eli. Goddamn, what a game. Why on Earth Valve didn't feel confident enough to release a third one?

Valve's kept the box sealed and hidden away from us for over a decade, so now it's up to the fans of the franchise to pry the damn thing open with a crowbar, if need be.

Is that Xen fungus in the background there? I know it's just concept art but I hope that gets included in this project. They were a lovely part of Xen that I want to see migrated into Earth. Plus it would probably say something about their habitat preferences. In the floating islands of Xen where it's mostly space I imagine it would be quite cold so they probably like really chilly environments to grow in.
I would theoryze that, since the Borealis is stuck between dimensions (ours and the combine) and that Xen is described as the borderworld, you see or will be for some time on xen before the ship blows up
