Still listening 5 years later. I found this while in coding bootcamp in 2016, now I'm an engineer at Microsoft. This mix is still to this day one of my favorite programming mixes. THANK YOU!

warren010h hey whats up I'm an aspiring hacker/ programmer. I struggle with concentration although your channel has helped a bit. Are there any other methods you use for studying and if so can you tell us. Also what language are you most proficient with. I took a java and javascript course but it didn't really help I'm mostly self taught and I'm hoping to go back to school. I know this is a lot but do you have any advice for an aspiring it major.
jay'sup Howdy man! Well, not exactly. Studying for me for the past few years in college has mainly been putting a little music in my ears in a nice quiet non-distracting environment. When it came to studying and programming for me, I'd probably be sitting at a table after class from like 4 or 5pm until 1 or 2 am.. Would knock other assignments out the way quick as I could to spend as much time as I could programming; which in plenty cases only led me to debugging and managing to get 1 small piece of code functional lol. So "time" i'd say is your best asset when you're still green (I still am). Time, consistency and efficient programming/study sessions is what's going to boost your productivity. Eliminate the distractions and get in that zone. A lot of college students don't want to accept sitting down for extended hours and give up after 30 or 40 minutes. No, for me, i stayed there long as I needed; but then, I didn't have a job or much of a social life so it was easy for me lol. I'm most proficient in Java, but I'm trying not to make that the big focus; rather, I want my mind to be proficient on the underlying meat of programming and how things interact (If that makes any sense). That's one reason I've decided to focus more on the math. I think once you learn how to program, you'll be able to apply those principles across the different languages after you get accustomed to their differences in uses and syntax. If you look through the comments, you'll find guys who know worlds ahead of what I know regarding programming, but what I can tell you is, learning to program is going to take time and effort as with anything (unless it just comes naturally which unfortunately for me, wasn't the case lol). Being self taught is great. Most of what you learn won't be what you're taught in courses anyway; it'll be what you learn in the time YOU put into it. Lets see, I'd say I put in an average of 7 hours per day studying. I majored in CIS so not all those hours went towards IT related things, some towards business courses. But, during the lucky semesters, most was IT related. Overall, the best advice I can give you, although it may be a bit general, is put TIME into it. Make sacrifices where you can and go at it! I followed the saying, "work hard now, play hard later" throughout college.Though I've graduated, I find that I still have to study hard lol.

Still listening this masterpiece while Trading after 8 years in December 2022 and will listen the same until my last Breathe! This is the best cyberpunk soundtracks i came across.
I first came across this playlist back in 1792, when I was serf peasant harvesting beetroot for my Lord in eastern europe. Right now, I am a nobel-prize, grammy and olympic games winning multi-billionaire! THANK YOU!
This is good robotics engineering homework music. Thanks for not being like every other electronic musician who makes every song have that "Bum, bum, bum, bum, bumbumbumbumbumbumbumbum b-b-b-b-b-b-b-b-b-b-b-b--b BANNNNGGG"... every song man, I swear
"Huh, it's all really good stuff and very helpful to concentrate, but not exactly my cup of te-" *Megadrive starts playing* "You. I like you." Excellent mix!
Haha! That brought a chuckle. Thanks for that. Glad you like the list and the Megadrive usage. Hope the latest list(s) are a bit more to your tastes. If not, feel free to let me know what type music optimizes your cup of tea lol!

I found this playlist while working in my old job, started coding on my own in the evenings. Now 2.5 years later I am a Big Data Engineer and still listen to it

I listened to this every day in highschool when I had projects in CS and now I am almost in my 5th semester in CS and working part-time as a software developer. I Still love this ☕
Another well done masterpiece that makes me feel like I'm a covert agent working on some super top secret code, when in reality I'm a try hard C++ coder. Love you bro. Keep it up.
seriously man. I think about this stuff. I think why can't I find a solid playlist for programming/cyberpunk concentration. You did it with your first video. I was like FINALLY. Now you've done it again. You and me man - we're on the same page.
Haha! Awesome, yea feels like I've brought a family who've thought the same together with these lists. Glad people are finding them sufficient. Thanks :D
Wow, found a GREAT Unity tutorial on RUclips... but listening him drone on and on started to make my eyes glaze over. Turn on this great mix in the background at 10% volume- now oddly epic. Great music for learning programming, too!

This playlist helped me survive work at a previous company, and rediscovering it while working for my new company has helped me focus some days too. Thank you!
Happy to hear that man. I haven't done these list lately - and honestly, there are several channels that make really good ones. Definitely encourage you to also check them out. But I highly appreciate the comment and glad these have helped you.
Hey folks, here is the latest list. Just in case you haven't seen it already. It's titled part 0000, however, it's the 5th list in the series. As some of you may have mentioned, I never started with the number "0", so there you go (may rename it soon to part 5 if needed). Anyway, here's the link. I don't even remember when I found this for the first time. The video was uploaded 9 years ago, I started coding about 8 years ago and at some early point of these years when I was teen I found this. Still coding while listening to this.
I made a chatbot which replied sarcastically on facebook :D any question, it replied something like "fuck off" in my Slovak language... :D in python of course
Haha, i've been listening to Solar Fields - almost exclusively - for a year now while coding and wanted to switch to something else. Searched for coding music and clicked this. Immediately thought I had damaged my brain so that all music sounded like Solar Fields when the first tune began to play :)
Well I will probably be writing code for another 40 years on a daily basis, so you gotta keep going :D Really helps me out with difficult problems in my code, thank you
Still the best. Whenever vocals are added into other videos out there, it distracts me and breaks my train of thought as I'm thinking scenarios out in my head. Thank you for this video.
Till there's still something left to learn and to do, I never left, I only listen to this playlist while programming and learning hacking theory (basically programming exploiting), thanks to this playlist I'm right now on a Kali Live distro learning how to SQL Inject (in a good way), and probably my life will be about computer science and cyber security. Yea, all thanks to a playlist
I was listening to this while coding artificial intelligence in high school. Now I've uploaded my consciousness to the system and my thoughts conjure the code. I still listen to this. Thank you.
Jeez, coming back to this playlist... I thought I had discovered it last year but 7 have passed instead. Can't believe it. Thanks man! and keep coding everyone!
The music from Half Life injects focus and energy into my brain muscles. BTW My favorite parts here: 01:25 : Half Life 2 - "Violation Dubstep Remix" 21:04 : Plasma3Music - "Reconstructing Science Remix" 40:28 : Lost Years - "Converter"
I first played this game in 2000, (System Shock track reference) late at night. It was terrifying and amazing. I replayed it about two years ago and it had not lost any of its punch. Just found this!! So awesome.

Used to hear this a lot during my Masters in computer science. Now I moved on from coding, enrolled in medical school but still uses this to study for exams (= thanks for the awesome compilation
Hey man I am doing my Masters in CS right now but always had an affinity for healthcare too. How did you transition to it? Did you work in the software industry at all?
@@taekwondoman2D hey! I worked as a C++ software engineer for about 9 months in a mid sized company, but honestly didn't like it at all. I really didn't see any value on the product I was working on. I then decided to pursue the medical career as I feel it is more rewarding, though it requires learning a whole new way of working - mainly because most medical schools have extremely traditional teaching methods, which do not work for me at all. The transition was all about revisiting high school subjects for the general admission exam we have in Brazil. I love computer science, though, and still code small demos of anything I find interesting e.g. physical simulations, emulators and so on
Man... when I hear that Mirror's Edge song "Kate" it triggers some SERIOUS nostalgia for me. That takes me back to a time in my life when I had just graduated high school and I remember playing that video game on my PS3 in the afternoon on a hot summer day in my bedroom. Random side note.. the graphics in that game were so spectacular. Anyways... I remember being confused at that time in my life because I had just graduated high school and I did not know exactly what to do with my life... Things were rather simple but also chaotic at that time. And that particular game had such beautiful graphics and music that I was in awe the very first time I played it. Anyways, not exactly sure what all of this means but thank you so much for this Playlist. For us guys in our 20s and 30s. This Playlist triggers much nostalgia. Especially for the Half life tracks, Portal 2 track and for that Mirror's edge track. Man....that's when video games were.... VIDEO GAMES.... Cheers to you all.
It's been more than two years now, and I keep comming back. Your compilation has guided me through my most frustrating hours of coding. Thank you, @warren010h.

warren010h Oh yeah how much studying would you put in on a typical day or week during a regular semester?

seriously man.
Thanks :D
ASMR found here:
10:24 : Deus Ex: HR - "Detroit Convention Center"
14:26 : Deus Ex: HE - "Ambient Hacking"
17:18 : Portal 2 - "Stop What You're Doing"
33:19 : Mirror's Edge - "Kate (Puzzle)"
1:03:25 : System Shock 2 - "Operations 2"
A system failure has never been so exciting. It put me in an optimistic mood: from now, the harder the bug, the more fun the adventure.
Started listening to this before I met Morpheus. Now I am the chosen one of the matrix. Thanks so much!
Wow, found a GREAT Unity tutorial on RUclips... but listening him drone on and on started to make my eyes glaze over. Turn on this great mix in the background at 10% volume- now oddly epic. Great music for learning programming, too!
Dude, this playlist is awesome! All code debugged, closing development, compiling, and deploying in production in 3...2...1... fire in the hole!
Music for programming exists? Thats awesome
Sergei Saal Isn't it awesome? We're so special we have our own genre. ( ^c^)
PolyMe
Yea :D
+PolyMe this sounds like IDM or experimental, no different.

Who else is here in 2022 STILL listening to Warren's collection? Love this stuff and it's helped me get my work done for years.

Just in case you haven't seen it
already. It's titled part 0000, however, it's the 5th list in the
series. As some of you may have mentioned, I never started with the
number "0", so there you go (may rename it soon to part 5 if needed).
Anyway, here's the link. Thumbs up to push up in the comments for folks to see: ruclips.net/video/62Mr0elsf0s/видео.html
Just tell them the list is not zero based. Not everything has to start with zero :P
Nice, i was one of the anoying guys who said that.
It's clown based. 1^clown, 1^(clown^2), 1^(clown^3)
Hey, you know there is a reupload? Just search on youtube this video's title. It is the FIRST LINK. It almost has a *MILLION VIEWS*!!
i just broke default tp link router password to this
thank you very much!

for me after a couple years since I've found it I think this is by far the best set ever made for deep focus
Part 3: Concentration \ Programming Music 011 (Part 3)
I don't even remember when I found this for the first time. The video was uploaded 9 years ago, I started coding about 8 years ago and at some early point of these years when I was teen I found this. Still coding while listening to this.
Im a Indie Developer and i want to say... Thank you :D
Nice! Always good to hear from professionals :D lol. And no problem!
When you have an exam tomorrow and you start to study at twelve o'clock... HERE WE GO AGAIN Part 1-2-3
now I can program in python to this sound
That was EXACTLY what I was doing! x3
Can you teach me how to ? I am only good with Java :(
Take some python lessons in CodeCademy.
I made a chatbot which replied sarcastically on facebook :D any question, it replied something like "fuck off" in my Slovak language... :D in python of course
Java is a bit better but Python is amaizing aswelll
10 years later, this is still my favorite playlist to listen to while working and programming.
Love listening to this while I'm doing my Linux/Unix Admin homework. Thank you for the upload! :D
Haha, i've been listening to Solar Fields - almost exclusively - for a year now while coding and wanted to switch to something else. Searched for coding music and clicked this. Immediately thought I had damaged my brain so that all music sounded like Solar Fields when the first tune began to play :)

Well I will probably be writing code for another 40 years on a daily basis, so you gotta keep going :D
Really helps me out with difficult problems in my code, thank you
Still the best. Whenever vocals are added into other videos out there, it distracts me and breaks my train of thought as I'm thinking scenarios out in my head. Thank you for this video.
For sure Adam! Glad you enjoy these. Been a while since I've done one but another soon if I can find quality music for it 😊
I’m glad I came across this video way back. Mega drive is badass.
After 10 years I still come back to this, my ground zero. Senior data scientist now 🙏
As soon as I start playing the music, I figured out how to write the 5th function! Thanks lol
Woah, great!!! I know I'm very late on replying but glad it helped :)
Thank you so much for this music :D
I'm always searching for programming music. And this is absolute what I needed!!
You're very welcome. Glad it works for you. Crazy how much your comment has given me a boost to get up for work lol. So I thank you as well.
I started doing programming last week and this is just what I needed. Thanks a lot for this awesome music!
Found it after ages. Happy new year!
Edit: I am doing 3D Animation and Game Development but I still program sh1t, so yeah here I am again
I was listening to this while coding artificial intelligence in high school. Now I've uploaded my consciousness to the system and my thoughts conjure the code. I still listen to this. Thank you.
Listening to this as I finish giving the last details to my computer engineering project
The Half Life 2 -Violation Dubstep Remix is definitely my favorite :)
me too)
Jeez, coming back to this playlist... I thought I had discovered it last year but 7 have passed instead. Can't believe it. Thanks man! and keep coding everyone!
Great playlist. This beats your first imo. I've started every day this week listening to this. Can't wait for part 3 :D
Kool thanks! Yea it should be fun searching for good enough material for part 3 haha ;D
Despite programming is only a hobby I still love it ❤
The music from Half Life injects focus and energy into my brain muscles.
BTW My favorite parts here:
01:25 : Half Life 2 - "Violation Dubstep Remix"
21:04 : Plasma3Music - "Reconstructing Science Remix"
40:28 : Lost Years - "Converter"
Found this music two years ago while studying React, now I'm listening in my first job as a Front End dev
With this music, I was able to...

Thanks for this buddy.
I started listening to this on my Cyber Security journey.
I got employed this week as a cyber security analyst.
That is awesome man!! Congrats! Great and very engaging field to be in! Wishijg you well on your career!
Thanks a lot for putting this together! I've already listened to this playlist an unhealthy amount of times.
Don´t even bother to apologize, I wouldn´t mind having to watch half-an-hour add to listen to this masterpiece. (All of them)
Fala amigo ! So para avisar que sua playlist sempre toca aqui no escritorio durante o trabalho ! Saudações do Brasil !
The best mix ever created, I am still listening to this.
Hello, warren010h,
Would you be so kind as to produce more of these videos? It seems that I and a lot more people enjoy listenning to them. Thank you.
Thanks! Yea for that reason, another is to come! :)
I first played this game in 2000, (System Shock track reference) late at night. It was terrifying and amazing. I replayed it about two years ago and it had not lost any of its punch. Just found this!! So awesome.
I love this, as well as part one. Great job. This works for studying as well, when classical music isn't bad-ass enough. Thanks for your good work!
Haha, thanks! Yea I use them when reading/studying myself. Hopefully the next one can be as effective as these 2 :)
Yup, I keep coming back to this one. Went from Prelicensed to licensed to private practice and it's still best for long difficult notes.
bro, it's been some months and your mix is still helping me concentrate!!! It's a mystery to me how 1 hr 5 min always passes without any distractions!!! #keepItUp #coding
Awesome man! Glad it's of benefit to you. Make sure you check out the latest ☺
yeah!!! just doing that.. on autoplay mode!! ;-) :-) thanks

I come from the future to tell you, after you finish the bootcamp you will come to listen to this mix... too many times.
