Cause damn, the combine soldiers in mmod were just so fucking rampageous. There was no stopping them. Better than doom.

Stop comparing everything to half life. This was supposed to be a portal game too and this soundtrack has some portal esthetic to it if you've played the game and stop being a half life fanboy you'd recognize it too

This song legit sounds like something right from a Half-Life sequel. Kind of fucked up industrial low-key enough to fit gameplay, memorable enough to put in on your walkman.
We all owe so much to Marc Laidlaw for giving this community the storyline to create the next Half Life game. Unlike Valve it’s obvious he cares about seeing this series continue. Project Borealis is the best thing to happen to the modding scene ever!

I can picture Gordon Freeman running through an abandoned building, with Alyx beside him, and behind them, a massive Headcrab zombie horde, Gordon, with a crowbar in hand, turns around and faces the horde, Alyx joins him.
Oh fuck... jumping spiders! I hate fucking spiders like the furry ones just bigger and scarier. 😬 But that’s ware the crowbar or ice pick comes in handy. 👏🏾

They would be able to see him of it wasn't for the damn blizzard, but it's too late now, he's already clubbed the soldiers guarding the front gate to death, and has acquired some better hardware. Better get the grenades and wake up the Hunters...
God damn I haven't even finished a half life game yet but this soundtrack has me so hooked. That plus the beautiful snowy level design so far actually makes me hyped for this game.

It makes sense because this is the most Aperture presense we've seen in a Half-Life tale, the entire setting is an Aperture-built ship after all
