Gley rockets spam is like the nuka grenade spam in fallout
I am always happy when I get gley and ultimate bunny as teammate as they help a lot in clearing stage that I cant
It's a shame that now after the patch players with huge AoE can still kill the entire screen and take away my health orbs, but I can no longer give them eye cancer in return.

As a Gley its easier to just solo.
It isn't so much that I expect other people to DPS as hard, its more than if I have 1 or 2 people join me, I expect the duration not to double or triple when the difference is supposedly 20% per person.
As for the rockets, its very effective and easy to build early, where as something like Sanguine for Massacre is a late game Ult exclusive.
Also you can just completely turn off peoples rockets, the same day you posted this.

I dont hate Gley, but I went to fight a hardmode Devour and had three gleys they all had launchera, and they all died. I didn't die and I was a Yujin main with Duty and Sacrifice.

Simple his stat scaling is bugged, and he's ajax from temu
I was using rocket spam but now I've recently switched to using afterglow sword with gley instead. Seems to break parts faster, also infinite ammo on the best sniper in the game is pretty good.

On a serious note I usually run my farms solo and in groups I only bring my rocket out once it's on the final enemy, I know the other players can't see his weakpoint when I'm shooting but it's usually only for 45 seconds - 1min out of the entire match. The colossi on the other hand I usually just use my massacre when I run it in pubs

I find it scummy to not use rocket spam as a rocket launcher user Gley gets an innate 15% Explosive damage so why not reap from the benefit. I intentionally use launcher many times over regular firearms for the fact that it helps so much on bosses whose weak points are close together and I can perfectly hit two in between it's radius. On bosses like Frostwalker I get hailed for my launcher use when I can produce up to 20 flames from breaking the boss parts so quick. On Fortress you can legit launcher spam and keep the meteors from coming out at all. It seems more less like a skill issue on those who can't aim and those who just follow the hype. I don't recommend launcher to those on controller as you can't be accurate. The launcher hate is real even though piercing light is king of damage as of now. Turn off other effects and don't speak for the rest of us. To those organ mains, I stand with you. WE ARE DOING SOMETHING
I would say 60% of randoms are awful. Gley rocket spam is just one flavor of the crap sandwich. Why cant anyone stand on hack circles? Why can't bunnies kill the mob group thats not about to spawn 2 feet in front of me instead of the one 30 yards away she could reach in 1.5 seconds? Who picks Sharen to fight every electric boss and tickles the health bar? Randoms are gonna random and they don't care what anyone thinks. Ignorance is bliss, or sometimes its malice. I've failed a mission before on purpose because of these antics and me and my friends laugh as we do so. One mission me and a buddy went to play monster hunter to screw an afk farmer out of progress. Private is way better in almost every game.
She has a pass until next patch. Have fun while you can with loadout swapping.
