This is better than nothing, but I kind of wish you showed every step. Like the actual removal of the airbox, on the hose that you removed from the radiator I'm kind of lost.
Thank you, I have been trying to figure out where that ECT was. Well done. Do you plan on making anymore CRV videos, I found this one very helpful.
My question is , is it Necessary to Flush down the antifreeze before taking out the ECT Sensor??
Thank you, sir.
Think this would cause a no start just cranks ?
Great video Does this control the hot and cold gauge on the cluster since it does not control the fan? I have an issue with my hot n cold gauge gets lazy at times and it doesnt want to climb to (a little below mid range which is normal) after driving for an hour Even on warm days!! And if you can tell me, What is the ohms reading supposed to be on the new sensor you replaced?
This video helped me thank you
This sensor controls the temperature gauge ?? My Is stuck in the middle even with the car off
Do you have to bleed out the coolant after replacing this sensor which I assume some coolant will leak out and hose exposed to air? Thanks and great video!
Good video !
I have the same problem too
Do you have a video of you changing the MAF sensor?
Same location ECT for crv 2.4 2005 ?
Yes
Would hard cold start be caused by this too? Starts fine when warm, but has issues starting from cold
yes. sometimes it just click
Thank you 🙏🏻🙌🏽
What does ect sensor do? Is it for radiator fan to turn on when it reaches a temperature
This is is for engine control, the one at the bottom of radiators is for the fan.
@@bernardaflores1720 yes. This would explain the hard to start on a warm engine. The fuel pressure is incorrect because the sensor doesn't see the engine as hot.
Edit: at least that's how I understand it.
Dtc code?
