Does anyone else love how delicately and gentle he talks during these videos
+Stephen Hay He didnt lose it.. he doesnt use it :D
+Georgia Muller i think he is trying to sound seductive to attract female viewers (who is pretty much the targeted demographic to get them to cook these yummy foodies). (not tryint to be sexist)
+Jackson Yu Or maybe he's talking like that for the vibe of the show, and because he's passionate? I highly doubt he talks like that for women LOL.
"Just make sure to knead with your hands until you find the perfect texture... of dat ass"
He's on the verge of fucking that crumble : D
the way he talks makes it all so magical
because it is
Craig Mutumbi yesssssss 👍👍
Craig Mutumbi lol The man can sell your own leg to you. Smh 😩
I can't... too Harryesque. 😅
Finally a chef saying celcius
brown kids Well he is Scottish and not American haha
only United States use Fahrenheit the rest of the world are in metric.
Daniel Harper sadly
Daniel Harper
Yeah why the hell do us United States folk have to use F°? All it does is complicate things if you're watching a cooking show from another country that uses Celsius, especially if you're trying to follow along. So okay, I'm going to put the oven at 180°...
I HAVE COOKED THIS BEFORE, except without cranberries. It's absolutely delicious and great with ice cream :)
Nature's prophet cooks now? :O
BloodyHand29 im so happy you said that xD Dota !!!

DogsRGreat I know right, it's like the one-way entrance to the incredible world of Gordon Ramsay.

I love how much passion comes out from his voice while narrating his procedure ^_^
I'm watching this while eating ramen noodles and instant mashed potatoes
damn poberty u taste so good
Your taste buds might be thanking you but the microscopic cells in your body are hating you.
Close your eyes and pretend it’s apple crumble ☺️
All I can imagine is Gordon spitting it when he heard Ramen!
Wait , carb on carb - what?? 😂 (yes, 9 years from the futur)

Chef Ramsey, you made my sunday with this dessert, i made for my family end i served it hot with a vanilla ice cream and they simply love it..!! Thank you my friend..!!
He is not your friend and he won't ever read these comments....GET REAL
Are you looking for a new family member? 😂
Betty Boos' Sister shut up that’s a way to be nice to someone ur mesny
@tobeteletdies
I've tried this today but cannot get the sugar to melt I had to chuck some water in. It just kept going solid
You have to admire ramsay, whether or not you like his personality no one grafts quite as hard as him. Most people would consider his work as a chef and the tv shows hard enough let alone all that strenuous exercise he puts himself through every week.
Frankly I never even liked him a little bit until I saw a video he did at home with his family and his kids gave him so much crap. He was awesome with them, and now I like him.

11/14/20 ..... I always enjoy watching Gordon cook / bake. You can see by his expressions, the pleasure he is getting while preparing his dishes for the viewers. Love apple crumble and I will make this for sure.
Just smashed this one and believe me it's amazing you don't have to be bang on with the measuring I just winged and it was unreal used vanilla paste and jif lemon instead
can't he like, post the ingredients in the description?
+noro Cristian look it up l
+Noro Cristian He expects you to know the recipe already, or at least be able to look it up. What he teaches you is mostly pro-tips
Aquillav I could look it up, but i would find different recipes, what i wanted is exactly that, well... yeah...
Chefs will usually recommend you don't follow precise recipes, and instead just try to approximate it. It's better to build an actual understanding of how much X you should use through trial and error, rather than learning averything by heart for every recipe. It makes you a much better cook, and makes it all feel less like a chore
INGREDIENTS
6 tbsp caster sugar
Pinch of ground cinnamon
1 vanilla pod, seeds only
6 apples, cored but not peeled, 3 of them grated, 3 cut into chunks
3 tbsp dried cranberries
Zest of 1 lemon, juice of ½
For the crumble topping
100g plain flour
2 tbsp demerara sugar
50g butter, chilled and cubed
Pinch of ground cinnamon
4 tbsp nutty granola or muesli
COOKING INSTRUCTIONS
Serves 4
Preheat the oven to 200°C/Gas 6.
Heat a small hob-proof baking dish, add the caster sugar and heat for about 5 minutes until it caramelises. Add the cinnamon, vanilla seeds and grated apples and cook for 1-2 minutes. Stir in the apple chunks, then mix in the cranberries, lemon zest and juice. Remove from the heat and set aside.
To make the topping, place the flour, sugar, butter and cinnamon in a bowl and rub together with your fingertips until the mixture resembles breadcrumbs. Add the granola and mix until fully incorporated.
Scatter the crumble topping over the fruit and heat the dish again on the hob. Once the apple mixture is bubbling, transfer to the preheated oven and bake for 12-14 minutes until the topping is a deep golden colour. Remove and serve warm.
0:06 *the sound of me trying to smell Gordon's food through my phone*
I want to hear Gordon Ramsey call me beautiful every day.
You're beautiful. I'm scottish so it's the closest you can get!
@@craigs6045 😂🤣
This was exactly what I was thinking of making this year but couldn't find an simple, yummy, and slightly different recipe. I love how he looks at what he's made with pride. Too many people out there in their jobs aren't able to do that. That's one reason this dude's been my role model for years. Happy Festivus!
This is amazing! I've tried it as is and even with pears and dry powdered ginger and sliced almonds in the topping. It's always hit the right notes. I even managed to make the crumble 'filling' ahead without the lemon and placed it in the refrigerator. Prepare the topping and add lemon zest and juice just before it's ready to go into the oven. Lovely dessert for a cozy evening with friends
Did you add demerara sugar?
Great ideas, thanks for this. Sure will do the pear and almond combo 😊
@@mariumkanchwala5078 yes I did. The crunch is an essential component of this dish
I love how well made these videos are. Every little detail is perfect.
I this the one as shown on #Channel4 which I can't seem to find anymore - URL no longer exists on the Channel 4 website. The finished crumble looks different but I think I'm hearing a lot of the same ingredients which I still have a list of.
Caster sugar (75g)
Braeburn apples (1kg)
2 x Vanilla pods (seeds scrapped out)
Crystallized ginger (30g, finely chopped)
2 x Orange, zest
Sultanas (100g)
Dried Cranberries (100g)
4 x star anise
Plain flour (100g)
Butter (50g)
Blanched hazelnuts (50g ,toasted and crushed)
Porridge oats (40g)
Light muscovado sugar (70g)
Ground cinnamon
Grated nutmeg (fresh grate)
Can we get a list of ingredients and how much of each?
I can watch this man cook for hours and hours
*Watches video tutorial on how to make a world-class apple and cranberry crumble*
*Never makes it*
My boi Gordon should start his own ASMR channel . Cooking ASMR would be a hit.
This is like the perfect recipe for those of us who really want to be able to taste the flavor of the food we are preparing without having absolutely everything dulled by the saccharine sweetness of sugar that so many other recipes call for. Then again, I live in the US, and in the south, no less.
He literally speaks as if he’s gonna marry to that crumble
I don't have dried cranberries on hand, so will add some walnut pieces for crunch instead. Can just taste it now:)
You could add some blackberries and the cranberries make it nice and tart but I make mine with frozen ones. So simple yet a wonderful dish.
that pan will be hell to clean
Just fill it with boiling water and some soap and let it sit, and then your all good a few hours later. Or fill it with water and put it back on the heat and everything will loosen up
Er no, it's not a savoury baked dish so little grease, it's all crumble and sugars that easily loosen up with a good soak
Not if you soak in hot water and scrub with a brillo
Another perfect dish. Gordon is my idol.
He talks with such a passion! That dessert looks amazing! I'm making it for thanksgiving dinner, thats for sure! thanks for sharing!!!
i just want to lick the screen
Do it then.
Mari Ya hahaha 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Mari Ya I did...
And that was before he started preparing the dish 😂
I can't tell you how much I love seeing your techniques more and more lately!
His voice is everything. Even if he is yelling at everything like i need that in my life
Made this today. Subbed Raisins for the cranberries (had the raisins on hand). WOW! It tastes like mincemeat! So good! Thank you, Chef Ramsey!
Jesus, isnt he worried about grating his own hand?
Well he's experienced, I'm sure grating something is child's play to him ;)
I've grated thousands of potatoes over the years I've made myself hash browns, and even when I slipped up, I didn't get cut. Guess the grater was either dull or my hands got tough enough to put up with it.
Maybe he really has low-key donkey hands; tough and sturdy
netweed09 chefs generally have strong hands after years of handling hot plates and generally just working excessively with their hands.
So what happens to all the food he makes? Surely not wasted...maybe feeding his camera crew? XD
he also has a wife and kids
Lol
I'm recovering from Covid-19 - after my 14 days of isolation, I tested negative. But during my 10 days, I was craving apple crumble. I tried meet that craving by ordering a portion of apple crumble. Great disappointment! I am so glad to have found this recipe. When I am able to work in my kitchen again, I am going to make this! Gordon, you're my hero chef! This crumble has EVERYTHING in it that my taste buds are craving. Thanks mate! 🙏❤🤗
"in" "oh f*ck yea" cant stop thinking of south park
Why do I always watch this when I’m hungry
golden brown~ texture like sun~
through the ages,,, she's eating apple crumble
Blessed Mr. Ramsay.. blessed those artistic hands .. it is just amazing the way you cook
RUclips must be spying on me, I literally just made Apple Cranberry Crumble last night. 🙂 I used almost the same recipe, except don’t bother with grating the apples (I just coat them in brown sugar with the cranberries and bake covered for about 20 minutes to get them bubbling) and haven’t tried adding lemon juice yet. Also I usually use oatmeal in the crumble for a similar taste as the granola, but the granola instead sounds like a good choice too so I’ll maybe give that a shot.
But for sure, apples and cranraisins have been my go-to combo for both crumbles and Brown Bettys for a long time, it’s a great mix. 🙂 (Brown Betty being virtually the same recipe except instead of crumble you’re doing a layer of bread crumbs with butter on top.)
He took a pinch of cinnamon with floury fingers D:
Just made this for the Jewish new year.. Yummy.
Did all the filling in a pan and transferred to a large baking pan.
Topped with rolled oats crumble topping...
Came out fabulous..
I love the way he talks
One of the best chef in the world
The ASMR tingles I got from this video are insane hahahah
Half of these videos start off with him going: "First off..." lol
He speaks so passionately about this dish.............I like😊😊
I LOVE YOUR VIDEOS !! It's like a one on one cooking class , very detailed , easy , and versatile! You inspire me to explore different tastes, seasonings, textures etc... ✨✨✨💜 big fan .
How can you do caramel without butter? The sugar is burnt instantly without butter ! I think he forgot to mention it because I have done what he did sugar with cinnamon and it was burnt in few minutes and turned into rocky sugar lumps
Love the way he cooks , sees and talks!!!❤
Almost 11 pm…. Ex stoner and I used to watch Gordon 😂😄. Love him tho
These videos are so much easier to watch than his F Word vids.
Pan. Salt. Salt. Salt. Salt. Oil. Oil. Oil. Duck. Milk. T.v remote. Phone. Done.
this is amazing i ve cooked before with pineapple
great kitchen, love your directness being a fellow brit
Gordon Ramsay THANK YOU for scraping the WHOLE vanilla pod. I usually get irked by others on video or television who only scrape half and trash the rest of the pod/s. There was one video/episode you made where you scraped half the pod but already had the pod in half so you included both pod halves in the mixture so nothing went to waste. Many thanks for not wasting ingredients as much as edibly possible. I am the same way. :D
Leaves the skins on the apples.... Much respect for this man.
He speaks like he's about to relive a firefight
Gordon, you are a legend, love everything you have given to this industry.
Your passion is inspirational, you should be very proud of yourself, thank you
Don't worry, he is! 😝
I will do apples 2 ways next time I make a crumble--I can just taste this now. And I love cranberries!
Gordon is so sweet when he has no one to scream at 😌
Watched, tried, approved. Dead easy to make. Only 1 hour, including the dish washes.
Gordon Ramsey is so talented but its weird how i came across this video only today when yesterday i made peach crumble for the first time with the same technique he used to make it but yet have never seen it or have done it before
...You are creative, and cook from your heart.
thanks Jo ur very kind
"Everybody's good at cooking something! And I'm good at cooking crumble"
Ramsay’s silky voice lures 😍
When i first started watching his videos
I thought that he is praising his own food
Foodgasm everytime
Am I the only person who looks at this and wonders how he cleans the sugar off the pan afterwards?

Greatest cook of ALL TIME
Ughhh the one main thing! BUTTER!!! I don’t have butter omg. I have the icecream but not the fucken butter.
We are making crumble in school and I found this amazing recipe but apparently it will take too long according to the teacher. Come on we have an hour and 10 minutes! All of the other recipients I have watched aren't as good as this one, sons of them seem hardly edible. Anyways I will make this crumble in my own time some time soon. Thanks Gordon.
Müesli omfg i died, as a swiss person I find that hilarious
I would love it if he put on the amount of the ingredients that he is using he seems to forget that some people need this.
This might be his only video that doesn't require, Salt - Pepper and a touch of olive oil.
Gordon has the best comment section anywhere on yt😂
Cooking this recipe now.. I added honey in the mix, and crushed almonds to the crumble.
This recipe is amazing it works so well
Nobody:
Me: *wAnNa sPriTe cRaNbErRy?*
