i can play this whole song, its not necessarily super hard to play, but it is hard to play it well so that it sound nice and accurate to the person listening
Do not dare to say that when you don't even know anything about them! Chopin is the sentimentalist, and Liszt is full of romance. Chopin's is full of melodies but not so much techniques. But no one can ever bear Liszt with such short fingers and weak-founded techniques. Liszt requires you to play every note he wants. He's such a high-expecting, romantic artist.
Christine Kwon um ok calm down i wasnt insulting liszt. and i think i know about them i've played songs by both of them. studied them for years and listened to almost all of there songs. Christine Kwon and also stop trying to be a snobby musical know it all. Do you realize the hundreds of people who agree on the fact that liszt could copy chopin's style from time to time. This song has been listed one of the most like chopin's style. so yea.

It's kind of a crapfest, all good initiatives are crippled by horrible management, an awful government and criminal organizations being probably involved in there and taking money from whatever source they can find. The tempos seem just right. Sometimes it is played too fast. Starting off slowly reinforces its essential and beautiful 'dreaminess' and allows for a clear separation from the more energetic virtuoso central section

1 thousand of these views are probably me listening to this piece all night
Liebestraum is one of my favorite classical pieces.
I was just listening to Chopin's Romantic Etude and thought "Hey, I wonder what the name is of this one piano song I heard in this one video." I was on my phone when the Romantic Etude was over, and I forgot to disable autoplay... and here I am.
I think RUclips can read minds now.
What an excellent interpretation. Particularly fond of the fact that he didn’t do the cliche hanging about during the parallel octave section - got straight to it. Excellent.
Wonderful Piece by an amazing Composer.
Learning this one. It's crazy hard.
This isn't easy, but it isn't crazy hard.
Kevin Perlman
If you're a pro, its not crazy hard
If you're a guy who just plays piano, yeah its crazy hard

Final Fantasy VIII - The Castle Piano Collections.
THAT'S Hard.
This is 6/10 in difficulty.
Rene Aensland Hi Rene, in my opinion, Rachmaninoff Etude Tableau Op 39 No. 6 "Little Red Riding Hood" is damn really hard :) Please have a look...
That is 12/10 in difficulty...
Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata 3rd movement is one of the hardest songs ever for me :)
I think this is the best performance of liebestraum 3 I've ever heard in my life
Sen lásky jsem hrála ve 14ti letech
při ukončení 11ti leteho studia
na lidové škole umění.
Děkuji Vám, moje drahá pani
učitelko Otylko Bemova !!! 💋
Stala jste při mne od detstvi
jako strážný anděl... ❤️🌹❤️
This piece is truly beautiful... my favorite Liszt. Barenboim makes this piece majestic and one of those pieces you can't stop listening to. Bravo! Thx for sharing this wonderful piece of music.
La estaba buscando! Mil gracias!
i don't know if you guys realize this but pianoplayer002's videos are so beautiful because the recording he chooses is almost always the best. it's so crystal clear...
Chopin made 58 accounts and disliked this
Classic!
Not saying I don't like Chopin or anything ;)
fu@king genious lol
BkSk 63 now
yup, I did
I like the way the sheet music changes in sync with the music as if you have your own pager turner.
I always wondered if this song could be paired with Chopin's "Nocturne Op. 2" in a duet; think as if they were competing for the same girl by wooing her.
as long as they were in the same key.
I opened the two pieces (Barenboim) and it was not too bad but too many dissonances, anyway slow parts were really cool
what nocturne op 2

Both cadenzas in this are hard as heck major respect for the player for playing them so incredibly accurately
i can play this whole song, its not necessarily super hard to play, but it is hard to play it well so that it sound nice and accurate to the person listening
nothing like la campanella
This song keeps giving me goosebumps. It moves me so much
literally sounds like chopin lol. one of the best of liszt; and most pleasant to listen to!
Chopin is full of sentimentalism AND romance. Liszt has the romance but sometimes the songs are just for the notes. same with chopin though. do not make assumptions about people.
haters back off
Christine Kwon and also stop trying to be a snobby musical know it all. Do you realize the hundreds of people who agree on the fact that liszt could copy chopin's style from time to time. This song has been listed one of the most like chopin's style. so yea.
sephorastar13 EXACTLY!!!
Christine Kwon Daniel Perkins ugh, Chopin no technique? For real? I'm so sick of people comparing composers. They're all great and you can choose your own favourites.
Simply beautiful!
I'm learning this piece right now :D
...And it's a lot harder than I thought :.D
Sonja Johansen did you finish? I’m thinking of learning it, I’ve only been playing for 1 year tho but I’ve learned un suspiro already
@@dominationyt7834 I finished learning this piece! It's a lot of fun, and you should totally learn it! Playing those A flat octaves at the piece's climax is just so satisfying, and it's very rewarding to learn!!
I'd dare to say this is my favourite interpreter and piece.
Una composizione di straordinario effetto
dove il tema principale è l'amore nelle sue varie forme (esaltato, erotico, maturo) meglio descritto nelle poesie di Freilingeth e Uhlaud
cui quedta musica faceva da accompagnamento
Ottima interpretazione. Si ascolta sempre con piacere

Learned this in high school and really felt like I was starting to make progress. I kinda bluffed my way through that second cadenza but aside from that I played it pretty well. Such a gorgeous melody.
I don't know how european and american people's how there life be? in my opinion they are very happy life and make many things that make human happy, I am asian i am Thai, but my life not same as american people and european, but i really want to know, and yeah, this heaven music make me cry.
zarbitz Mitsuwan historically their ancestors colonized and stole from a lot of countries and peoples and had more resources and are in a stronger global position because of it
***** That's really racist. Jeez... can you write in some perfect Chinese please?
People these days...
+zarbitz Mitsuwan Well, I can speak for Italy here. It's kind of a crapfest, all good initiatives are crippled by horrible management, an awful government and criminal organizations being probably involved in there and taking money from whatever source they can find. However, as much as the economical crisis made it all worse, our lives go on somewhat peacefully. I could start playing and studying piano without too many problems, albeit it is something that takes quite the money to happen. If you think you could live a better life outside of Thailand, you should just try to chase your dreams. Regardless, wherever you are, this beautiful music will always be with you :)
Ah I feel you I am also thai
This is the best interpretation I've heard by far. Thank you for uploading :)
Someone: Liszt, do you want the melody to be played with the right or left hand?
Liszt: *Yes*
The tempos seem just right. Sometimes it is played too fast. Starting off slowly reinforces its essential and beautiful 'dreaminess' and allows for a clear separation from the more energetic virtuoso central section
Nokia ringtone memories :,)
Only 1800s kids will get this
Tale Leny wtf you liked your own comment saddo
the subtle ending of the piece is the most beautiful part =')
mmmm although liszt is not for me i can't deny that he is magical
The first bit was played so well that for a second I was in an whole other world altogether. Then I woke up 40 seconds later and found myself sitting on my bed in my room.
