- Here is the long-awaited sequel to "SpongeBob VS Patrick - Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel." This project, expressing my love for SpongeBob and YuGiOh!, took six months of dedicated effort and hard work. I hope it captures the essence of these two iconic worlds colliding in a duel of epic proportions.
"Spongy-Oh!" is a fan animation inspired by SpongeBob fan projects on RUclips, particularly those by JChaseFilms and Narmak. Seeing no SpongeBob and Yu-Gi-Oh mash-ups, I worked hard to create the original animated video. Although hesitant, I left the first "Spongy-Oh" duel on an unresolved cliffhanger. To improve, I redrew all 2D models and included 3D models for massive monsters, aiming for higher quality in "Spongy-Oh Part 2." While it may not be a masterpiece, I sincerely hope everyone enjoys the final video.

I know a bunch of you have a lot of questions in this video, allow me to address them.
1.) Why doesn't Slifer's second mouth work on Obelisk?
-That only worked in the anime and only the anime. In an actual game, Obelisk and Winged Dragon of Ra are immune to Slifer's passive effect to reduce 2000 ATK, so their attack points are fine if you play the game IRL.
2.) Why does Squidward appear as a Monster?
-I originally planned Squidward walking but then suddenly attacked by Slifer and Obelisk. But I changed my mind and wanted a even funny scene where Squidward randomly shows up in the game.
I'm planning on a compilation video for "Spongy-Oh!". I intend to combine the first episode with the second episode, while also adding some additional scenes. While I had fun working on this video, there were still certain errors that I wish to patch up for the upcoming Spongy-Oh! compilation. Expect something around late 2024.

Turn 7:
Patrick draws and summons Obelisk the Tormentor. This triggers Slifer's special ability to reduce it's ATK by 2000 but Obelisk activates it's own effect, negating Slifer's. Patrick sets one card face down and ends his turn.
Turn 8: Spongebob draws and activates Card Destruction, Spongebob and Patrick both discard all cards in their hands and draw the same number of cards they originally had. Spongebob draws 5 cards. Spongebob activates Giant Trunade, returning all spell and trap cards to the respective player's hands. Patrick activates Balance of Judgment, and with it's effect draws six cards. Spongebob attacks with Slifer but Patrick special summons Squidward the Octopus via it's effect, forcing Slifer to attack it. Spongebob sets one card face down and end his turn.

SpongeBob straight up cheated when he paid 1000 life points after using Relay Soul. Should have had him use Sage's Stone for the exact same effect.
Technically, you don’t have to pay life points to use Relay Soul. I think the scene where SpongeBob loses all his life points was what he imagined would happen if he didn’t do something.
@@trentonalbers3981 No, Relay Soul only activates once you've already lost all of your lifepoints. Spongebob's Life points were at zero. They needed to be, in order for him to use Relay Soul.
Ergo, he can't spend lifepoints when he doesn't have any. That being said, an argument could be made that he could still activate a card like Dark Magical Curtain, which does the same thing by paying half of your life points... and half of zero is still zero.
@@ShadowSaberBaroxio Relay Soul working with 0 Life Points was Anime-exclusive Effect, it's definitely not how the actual printed card works. In the actual OCG/TCG game, you don't need 0 Life Points to activate the Trap Card. You can literally read the card in the video and it doesn't say you really need 0 Life Points.
@ShadowSaberBaroxio: Relay Soul activating only when your life points are zero only worked in the anime. The actual card in real life would never be able to activated if your life points reach zero. No card in real life can activated once your life points reach zero.

shenanigans, Patrick could have played that card during the battle phase, instantly won the duel right there. Also rage with eyes of blue requies one to banish all cards in their hand and grave to use

Slifer's effect doesn't work on Obelisk tho. I just checked their wording on the card and Slifer's effect to reduce Obelisk's ATK will not activate. It literally saids on Obelisk: "When Normal Summoned, cards and effects cannot be activated. Neither player can target this card with card effects."

Slifers second mouth is not an activated effect, it's a passive effect. So it'll still work on obelisk, albeit again only until Patrick ends his turn then it goes back to 4000
@@DarkSymphony777 The scene where Slifer uses its second mouth was clearly just for dramatic effect. Of course Slifer isn't supposed to work on Obelisk. SpongeBob never said he "activated" it, Slifer was automatically supposed to use its effect, which again, was useless.

Fun fact in the anime Ra couldn't be effected by obelisk nor Slifer because it was a deity level over between both all 3 of em
