  • When twin sisters Marieme and Ndeye were born conjoined, doctors didn’t expect them to live more than a few days.
Seven years onwards, their father Ibrahima says that, as time went by, both their family and the doctors that treated them realised that "we are going to deal with warriors''.
The sisters were allowed to remain in the UK for medical care. Their mother is in Senegal to look after the rest of the children.
Produced by Lucy Owen and Rick Hartley for BBC Wales.
    Edited by Ellen Tsang.

I’m so happy for this dad, that he could move to the UK to give his girls a chance of life. I just finish watching the whole story on TV. Hope his wife and other kids will be able to join him too 🙏🏽❤️

Bs. Those kids definitely see disability. They were just raised by parents who taught them kindness and respect.

I think it would have been better to separate them even with the risks. Sorry to say. At least one would have a normal life.

_"This is what I wanted, for them to have a normal life."_ Bro, their life is anything but normal. Abortion is a blessing and death can be compassion because many ways of living such as this is in fact worse than death.

Maybe to you! Ask these girls if they'd rather be dead and never had a chance at what life may bring. You are so selfish.

Maybe abortion wasnt an option for them idk
