But they were conjoined in a way they really didn’t have a way to live or survive long term. They did the best they could but it’s still like you said.
Gloria Bowie where’s the receipt? This is a not an ordinary surgery. so much is on the line. Doctors would only do this just for the experience and not even worry about getting paid or not.
Those two little boys are so beautiful and I am glad that they had the surgery and that they made it I am so happy for their parents. God had blessed them .
The mom was on the verge of tears from the beginning of the segment. Clearly these are profoundly disabled kids. Especially the child on her lap. She said elsewhere that he has constant seizures. I don't think they expected it to be like this. But I think these parents know now that life is always going to be a major struggle for them and their twins. Hopefully they can progress far. It's amazing that they survived this far.
Well of course they have some disabilities. They were aware of the risks. They knew that they were going to have them. They knew that one was probably going to be a little worse. Especially the one in her lap( Anais) his blood pressure and heart rate dropped so much from the surgery. He had to be put on meds to help. They will progress. It will take time.
@@torimccool4413Wow... Right?! Those parents are absolute heroes in my book!! Especially the mom... she may be devastated by the outcome but you can tell with every fiber of her being, she loves her boys and will fight to her last breath to take care of them. They both seem to be wonderful, loving and attentive parents. I will pray that no matter the outcome or challenges they will face, God will be with them every step of the way.
@@Rachel_Jayne exactly. IF they did not choose to try and separate the boys, there was a 90% chance they BOTH would have died before age 2; I do not see profoundly disabled children, I see children with a life ahead of them that they would not have had otherwise, if not for the surgery. Will Anais grow up to be a brain surgeon? Probably not, but then most people don't do brain surgery anyway. They will be perfectly perfect however they are. And alive!
Anytime you separate twins who are attached at the brain this is what to expect. Its great they both survived but Anias will never be 100% independent. Though being that they are young there is a good chance the other will be able to get a job one day. Though only time will tell.
It mustve been a very, very difficult decision to have to make. Especially not knowing where ones brain started abd the other's ended...but leaving them stuck on their backs for life was not an option. Unfortunately brain damage was part of it and it seems that one boy succumbed to a bit more than the other.

I had no idea that so many babies are born conjoined and some actually live a long time conjoined. Looking at the youtube pages, so many, it's incredibly. I wonder what GOD had in mind to allow this type of happening throughout the years? Also so glad they are or can be separated now and actually have near normal lives!😂 God is good no matter what!
Oh my God! I love you guys! you made my day! May God bless you. Pickler & Ben, I LOVE YOU!!! you are so humble. Are you guys Christian? I used to watch your show in Arizona, now I in Massachusetts, can't find you on the network Emotions!! Emotions! I love you all.
How do you know? You know nothing about what his life will be like or what he might accomplish. Children’s brains can compensate, recover and reconnect in amazing ways. For all we know he could become a concert pianist.
The parents have a tough road ahead but not the boy, and the parents knew the risk, of course. The boys couldn't live the way they were cojoined anyway.
Oh Allah plzzzz plzzz shower blessings, happiness on this family and especially these two angel babies. I pray for their good health and long happy life inshallah

@Monika Peer. You're vile. Leave your negative commentary out of this. Its disgusting that people like you will bring your prejudices and racism onto a person who means good and, who is giving a blessing to a family who have been through so many difficulties. I dont see you wishing the family well. You are only interested in showing how small minded and clearly unintelligent you are. Allah just means god/the divine/something bigger than us, in another language other than English. It doesn't matter which language a blessing is given in. Or religion for that matter. Its the blessing and intention which counts. Just because this blessing was given in Arabic doesn't mean, that @Ma Lo is Muslim. There are lots of Arabic speaking Christians too. Not that one is better or lesser than the other. Christianity and Islam come from one and the same religious root. Educate yourself, bigot. I hope these boys live a long and prosperous life. Blessed be them and their loved ones.
I hope the palawan twins in the philippines could get this kind of operation too. But unlike anias and jayden there were separated earlier and younger. These twins i am referring to are now eleven years old
Katie W they were very likely going to pass away because of the stress on both their bodies, cases like this usually don't make it past the age or two so it was crucial to separate them if they were going to have any shot at staying alive
Good thing the two boys are now separated. They will live normally and be independent and not attached anymore. They are cute, their skull is a bit big maybe but they are two boys perfectly different.

Did their neurological issues come from being conjoined originally or come during their separation?
