They were BOTH valedictorian of their separate high schools!! They are both amazing.
Because they are Asians
Intelligence is genetic
Why does that make me wanna cry. Amazing!!
Raised by different white parents but can't take the Asian out from inside them... 😅 Interesting
@@knock-knockwhosthere9933 Model minority myth negatively harms the Hmong community that don’t “naturally” excel in school
Twins should never be separated. So glad they found each other.
Siblings should never be separated.

Hey grr
Their reaction to the Greys Anatomy stars was so underwhelming 😂😂
Their reaction to being given money was underwhelming
There prob shy or one of the people that don’t show actual how they feel about some
I think meeting your twin after being separated makes everything in your life a little underwhelming
I thought they were happy about it but very polite.
@@dillonohlemiller401 one of them even cried...
Props to their parents for raising such amazing daughters!
not them spoiling every surprise with the giant screen behind the hosts right before they announce it lol sow wonderful to see that they stayed in touch because they could've easily just not kept in touch as much. Im happy their families also are so supportive.
😂😂😂😭 that jumbotron really spoiled every last one
Congratulations Young Ladies!💐💐💐 I was adopted 52 years ago and have never met my biological family but I still look forward to it. Best wishes on your many future endeavors.❤️
Good luck to you and God bless you bring your family together

Have you ever thought of doing an Ancestry DNA test?
I hope you can someday :)
sorry to break it to you, but your parents are probably dead by now
I still feel like them meeting each other for the first time in person shouldn't have been televised. It was such a emotional moment for them and they shoud have been given the time to fully process it with one another.
Yeah, that made me uncomfortable as well. It’s an “all about ratings” moment that should have been private.
Completely agree. They’re human beings with real emotions, not props.
Oh stop. They have had plenty of time to do that off screen!
@@nancyfarkas3592 No need to get so angry here. Jesus. They did video chat beforehand, but their parents made the decision for them to meet live on TV.
I also think they have met in private first.
Good on the parents for making sure the girls stayed connected
I'm also an identical twin and I don't even know what I'd do if I was ever separated from my brother!!!!! Our relationship is very tight!!!!! We're 22 now and out of high school. I love my brother so much!!!!! 💙💙
Aww
Only twins will understand this relationship.
aww that’s so sweet💙

It's so hard to believe that it's been7 years!! They are both lovely young ladies and they are going to do fantastic things in their future.
I cried then and I am crying again. Congratulations to two amazing young ladies
Same!!!
Congratulations Audrey and Gracie on graduating from high school
I didnt think 7 years already has passed. I remember first time watching you both united on GMA with both of your families by your side and now you both grew into beautiful young ladies. Congratulations on valedictorians. You both are fortunate to have great families behind you.
It’s sad that an adoption agency wouldn’t let one family adopt both girls. So happy they found each other❤
Wow, I saw the story years ago. Still teary now hearing the story again. All grown up so pretty. CONGRATS!
So nice how they graduated high school together, that’s how me and my twin brother were when we graduated high school, I’m proud of Audrey and Gracie, they’re both grown, they both have nice dresses and they both look very beautiful, good job ladies and good luck at college
They did not graduate together. They live 1700 miles apart. One sister traveled to see the other's graduation.
Thankful to the Mom who was determined to make sure they met. Congratulations to the twins for their accomplishments so far🎉
They have been blessed with great adoptive parents! Congratulations ladies! Well done Moms and Dads!
Nice to see those two have an ongoing relationship with each other after the reunion 7 years ago.
It’s such a blessing that these twins were reunited. They have grown into beautiful young women. I live in the same city as EOU, Gracie. A good friend’s daughter attended EOU (from WA) on a soccer scholarship. It’s a nice, safe campus in a beautiful location.
Kudos to their parents ! They did great raising these beautiful well behaved ladies ! All the best !
I’m not crying….you’re crying!! I have goosebumps and am so full of love for these sweet, beautiful young women! Thank you, GMA, for sharing these beautiful moments with us!! Thank you to their amazing parents too!!! They must be SO proud!
Such lovely classy smart young ladies. Thanks GMA for treating the sisters so nicely!!
The saddest thing is when I was in China back in 2008 so many couples were adopted baby girls . What they didn’t know was that the families didn’t want to give their little girls up for adoption but they had to . They could only keep one child and they kept the boy to help on the farm. 😢
Boys weren't kept to help with the farm. Boys were kept because they held value over girls because it is a long held belief all over Asia that boys continue the family legacy. That's why when push came to shove, girls were given up instead.
I’m glad that ridiculous one child policy is over and gone for good.
@@helenau8940 China went from one child policy to allowing 3 and now nobody wants any children.
@@helenau8940They allow families to have a few kids a couple of years ago if they want after slowing increasing the number of kids since around 2015 or something.
My family adopted my first Chinese sister back in 2008, and we were definitely aware of what was going on. My sister was abandoned on the steps of the orphanage. They actually had to make abandonment legal in China because mothers were throwing their babies away. We have a lot of empathy for what was going on there, and the families who still won’t get a chance to have more kids due to age even though the one child law is gone now. Also, there were ten families in our group when we went that year, and half of them adopted girls while the other half adopted boys. Boys get the shaft there was well.
Why this making me cry, they grew up fast. Best of wishes to both of them .
Awww look how theyve grown into a beautiful ladies. I watched this a long time ago when they met for the first time as little girls. They kept the sisterly bond connection congratulations to them.
I was so hoping they were going to the same college! Im so glad they found each other, but it breaks my heart they were ever separated. It's criminal to separate twins. God bless them both.
So you’re saying it would have been better for the Twins to have stayed in the Orphanage together in China than be adopted separately and brought to the United States.
@@PHN-2024 Ridiculous projecting you are doing! They should've been adopted together--they could've found an American family that would gladly accept twins! Twins have an incredible bond that should never be broken! Reading is fundamental...try critical thinking for once!
@@tinastardust7793 Obviously there were No American Families looking to Adopt Two Chinese Children at once…Try Just Thinking!
@@PHN-2024 How could you ever make that assessment about thousands of individuals adopting that they wouldn't accept twins?? Unless you worked for the China adoption agency, shut up, I mean really. You don't know what was available. You are projecting again. Stop typing. I have better things to do. Bottom line, twins being separated is criminal and should never happen!!
Criminal? You're exaggerating.
Thanks GMA, for making me cry again. 😭
This is so nice. All these wholesome stories have me crying at my desk.
Wow, both Valedictorians! That’s amazing!
Words cannot express my respect for their parents to raise such gorgeous ladies, they definitely have a bright favorite🥰
So touching. Still remembered watching this story a few years ago .
So sorry they were separated, but so glad their families get together!!
These 2 always make me tear up. I was blessed to be adopted with not only my identical twin, but my little sister as well.
But that almost wasn't the case as they had separated us. My twin and I fornabout 3 or 4 months and my little sis 6 months.
But my mom and dad fought to keep us together praise God. All we did was cry for each other
Congratulations! Beautiful story from the beginning…
i cried then seeing them and i cried now. they deserve that 10k
Brilliant young women. Great stories of loving a child as your own.
Saying hi to you from the ATP/WTA neighborhood of YT!
This is sooo sweet. They've both blossomed into such confident, young ladies! Such a big change and so beautiful!
So touching. God Bless..
I remember these girls. Love this!! So blessed.
What a beautiful story, beautiful twins Parents you did good, But shout out to the Mom who was so curious about the other baby 🫶 I'm so happy they have each other and amazing parents 🥰
I still don't get why there multiple cases of twins who get adopted separately.
They didn’t know when they adopted that they were twins. And china does things like this
@@nancyfarkas3592: It's not just China; there are European & South American agencies that have also had twins adopted separately across the country. I also remember years ago seeing a tv host interview 6 sets of twins of various ages whom had been reunited after being adopted separately.
I think it's probably easier to find homes for single babies and they're afraid if they show them as twins people won't adopt them because they don't want to separate them. I don't agree with it at all, but I'm thinking that's why they do it.
It’s all about the money.
🤦♀️ just enjoy the moment
Congrats to both of you VALEDICTORIANS!!!
I mean is that even surprising?
@@sdlock83of course it is surprising. 🤦
@@ThatSuzanneSchmid No it's NOT surprising. If it's surprising, then your common sense is experiencing a major malfunction.
One of the greatest feel-good stories ever.
So happy for them but sad to think they were separated when they were children. At least they’re close now. They so sweet!
I remember watching the video of them reuniting years ago when I was in middle school and congratulations to both of them especially both being valedictorians wooo! Good luck to them in college & their future paths! As a current college student absolutely heartwarming.
Heartwarming story ❤❤
Why am I crying? I feel so old. Where did the time go?!!! Congratulations girls! 🎉
What an incredible journey for those twins! Congratulations to you both and best wishes for your future together!
AWWWW, A real life sister 2:20 sister moment. 💕💕💕💕💕💕
Congratulations to both of them!! Love seeing how far this story has come and how they’ve grown together still 💕
I’m not crying, you’re crying 😭😭😭😭😭😭😂😂😂😂😂
The fact these beautiful girls still have to grow up separated to an extent just breaks my heart
You can tear them apart but you can't separate the sweet angels 💕💕💕
Such a sweet, heartwarming story.
Such a blessing!!! 🙏
Aww thank you for this update on these two!! Congratulations!
Congrats of the two of you!!!

Amazing!!! Kudo to both parents that raised these wonderful ladies!
Congratulations young beautiful ladies keep moving forward the sky is the limit
i remember watching them meet for the first time and crying this is the most wholesome thing ever I'm literally crying again
So beautiful, so smart and full of life. Congratulations girls
Amazing! I cried tears of happiness.
Beautiful story! Thanks for sharing!
I love how underwhelmed they are by the $5000. "Wow. Thanks."
yea , I thought that same thing lol!
They’re humble
@@avanwosu I guess, I mean they're shy so Idk
I mean, if you already have the mindset that you're going to have $250-300k in student loans by the time you graduate from medical school, even the $10k scholarship isn't really going to be life-changing like it might be for some people.
Listen to their voices and look at their body language. They both seem very shy and nervous. They are on national TV talking about their personal lives and they’re only 18.
They grew to be so beautiful omg ! Congratulations to the both of them on the accomplishments ! Both valedictorian and scholarships !
aww they’ve grown up so beautifully🩷 i wish them all the best in their new chapter of life and congrats on valedictorian to both of them!!💞💞
This is such a great & touching story! Reminds me of my adoption/meeting bio family story. I was adopted by my adoptive parents at 3 days old but met my biological family when I was 11. It was an open adoption luckily and I initiated the meeting. My adoptive parents understood I felt lost & needed to find them and experience my culture. I have 4 biological siblings, one older and 3 younger but didn’t know about them since I was the only one put up for adoption. I am lucky to have grown up with my siblings from being a tween since we live 30 mins away. It’s a blessing to have both sets of my parents and my siblings at the dinner table. My bio mom was looking at another family that lived in Colorado that wanted a closed adoption so I could never look for them. It’s a miracle it worked out and my parents and siblings all get along wonderfully! Im 26 now and I don’t know what I’d do without them!
Beautiful young ladies! Congratulations to both of them! 💕🌸
aww congrats girls!!! so proud how far they’ve come and glad they’ve stayed connected with one another 😊
Time flies…seems like yesterday seeing their reunion video. Thank you for follow-up GMA!
Yes i remember seeing and hearing their emotional story from when they first meet to how they are meeting once a year and now to see them now and graduating that's amazing... they are very lucky to have great parents and support and their biological mom did a hard but right thing cus now they are off the be great doctors
aww they have the same smile!!
Aww congratulations to the both! 💜💜

This is so heartwarming ❤ unusual and beautiful story, these girls are so lucky to have found each other and be adopted by such wonderful parents. Thank you GMA for sharing their story. This is the kind of energy and love that we need in this world of hate that we currently live in. They’re both valedictorians on top of that….just WOW. ❤️
Wow one to Vanderbilt and the other recruited for soccer with a full ride I assume. They both turned out amazing
Watching this at a mother of twins…I could never have my girls separated..idk the situation with the birth mom but that really breaks my heart
Nice seeing them together still after years, a Huge Clap to the Parents, Hope other twins who are separated can one day reunite with each other again and stay in touch.
what a wonderful story to wake up to. these girls are incredible
My heart is thrilled to see the both of you oh yes the love for each. The gift from god. You two brilliant. You have had good homes. The future will be the brightest never leaving one another. Good lives good lives. We love you both.
