5:58 I've been to Hobby Lobby many a time and have not seen this. It might be the coolest thing on the video. Also, always remember to only buy when it's 50% on wall decor.
It's very odd that you would say that about "their politics". I always like a company that stands behind their beliefs. Just like the long lines at Chick fila.
It was bizarre and off-putting to mention it at all, like he felt the need to apologize to extremist weirdos for shopping at a store. People are tired of the politics and stupidity being interjected into everything that exists, and even being mentioned in a video like this that should have nothing to do with it.
@@BrettWeissRetroGamer I think it's completely valid to mention "their politics". It's a big reason why people would not set foot in a Hobby Lobby, or support their business in any way. Thanks, Brett.
Game Room lol I never thought about naming it something else. I would be interested in this type of stuff if it was games I liked. I at least have game informer in the room lol
My game room is actually a walk-in closet that I usually refer to as "The Man Nook" because it's not actually big enough to be a "man cave". It's literally packed floor to ceiling with games and movies (and comic books and strategy guides), walls and ceiling covered with game posters, with two TVs and eleven consoles hooked up (original Xbox, US PS1, JP PS1, 2600, JP Saturn, NES, SNES, N64, Genesis, TG16, Genesis, and a Wii). There's barely enough room for one person, but the door locks with a key, so it's my own little Fortress of Solitude meets a Tardis. ;)
They really do have some nice gaming merchandise. A word of caution on Hobby Lobby sales. Read the words on the sign and the merchandise carefully. The words on the merchandise price tag have to match the words on the sign. This one says "Wall Decor" Marked "Home Decor". The price tag on the back of the merchandise has to have those words. If it says something like "Table Decor" or "Gift Decor" its not included! They are very sloppy about mixing sale and non sale merchandise together. Also any merchandise that has a red/yellow sticker and "Your Price" in NEVER on sale, although they do occasionally move "Your Price" items to the clearance section for half price.!!! Having said that if an item really is 40% off you are not gonna find it elsewhere any cheaper.
I will have to check out my hobby lobby and I have no problems with their owners Christians beliefs and stance especially during the times we are in now.
Unless a place ABSOLUTELY hates what I stand for and says they dont want my business or they are giving money to something I dont agree with, I'll end up shopping there.
When you mention politics, you are always going to have a near 50/50 split. So like what you like, and don't worry about the rest. It is after all still a free country!!!
100% right. I don’t know Brett, but would he say same about Target? It’s similar when people talk music and they say Ted Nugent is so controversial but never say same of left leaning controversial artists.
@@DanielSHall27 It's 50/50 with enough gullibility to tilt the scale in one direction. Now 50% is going to learn some hard lessons while the other 50% is going to suffer along saying 'I told you so.'
That there are people who do not share your way of thinking is not a reason for you to signal them as something negative, that type of thinking is what divides society
I can see how that is true around people such as yourself who are prone to misinterpret the words of others, or worse yet, put your own words into their mouths. If there was really some type of division that was created from his commentary, does not your posted comment do more to widen that division than it does to eliminate it?? Perhaps your ego needed a little nurturing, and hence you exploited the opportunity to feel slightly superior for a brief moment in time when it was presented to you? Leave it to the masters of manipulation, and the puller of strings to perpetuate the divisions we suffer in society, to maintain said divisions, and then to widen them, and create more beyond that through their utilizations of several methods, most of which are tied to the ISMs: racism, sexism, genderism, lookism, ageism, nationalism, tribalism, spiritualism, classism, et cetera, for they are quite proficient with wielding such mechanisms of division. Or perhaps you could unite with those who you have been falsely led to believe were your enemies, and join the fight to eliminate the global elites, the real threat to humanity and nearly sole cause for all of the woes and hardships most endure, from our planet so that we may some day experience a true paradise upon this planet instead of persistently being used, abused and made to suffer from existing in false realities while being psychologically manipulated, programmed with conditioned responses, and straight up brainwashed to live in virtual worlds constructed from lies and falsehoods. If not, then you are simply being played like a strange piano, thinking you are doing good, believing to conjure more positivity into this world, when in reality, you have served as nothing more than a disposable minion for the global elite. The road to hell is paved with good intentions, and that hell will be the global elite's endgame, and should you make it to see their endgame come to fruition, you will witness horrors on this planet never before witnessed by anyone!!!
Their views are no so much political they are Christian which you apparently do not agree with tells me you are probably not a Christian which I am and I still watch your Utube channel.
This is odd because some people complain when people refer to old games as "retro" rather than "vintage" because retro is actually an art style. Can't please everyone, I guess.
You're the one that's being toxic. Their faith-based stances are in agreement with numerous traditions and common beliefs of at least 5 billion people. You're the extremist in this scenario, and no one cares about your specific brand of ignorance or your mental-health issues. Your worldview was never the majority and is now ending. Your toxic cancel-culture ideology has gone about as far as it's going to.

My sister had the original Ravensburger Labyrinth game in the mid-80s. I highly recommend it.
I like the Super Mario Kart wall art!
A year or two ago they had reflective signs that simulated NEON. I regret not getting at least one.
I'm more a collector in my middle age then a gamer, but im trying to get back into it. I beat some of them. So much to go through

I said it because a lot of people don’t like their views.

Almost thought you were in my Springfield, IL Hobby Lobby....but no its Fort Worth TX.
Hopefully my local Hobby Lobby has some of the same stuff.
@5:32 Nothing like a good 'ol Janken match! Only Paper, Scissors, or Stone will determine the outcome of this battle!

Some of the items were actually pretty cool.

Lmao

Nice tour. The Hobby Lobbys in my area has a bit less variety, bummer. 🤔My game room name is my name.
Thanks! Great name!
I wouldn't go into Hobby Lobby if they were giving out free beer
Ive got crap tons of video game stuff from hobby lobby
I will have to check out my hobby lobby and I have no problems with their owners Christians beliefs and stance especially during the times we are in now.
Thank you for the video. It is nice to see items I will attempt to buy from other retailers.
I call my game room the "Retrocade". :)
Nice!
Notice the poker dog don't have a visor
Unless a place ABSOLUTELY hates what I stand for and says they dont want my business or they are giving money to something I dont agree with, I'll end up shopping there.
I saw all these last time I visited too. I wanted to buy everything but them I'm like... where would I put it all LOL
Lmao
I wish there was Hobby Lobby in Hawaii, those would be awesome gifts for Christmas

It was an extremely mild comment
@ I agree but not for a video game channel, it's out of place
MMR- Multi Media Room. I detest the saying "man cave".

Spit on that thang

Ugh. Hobby lobby as a company is toxic as shit. Before giving your money to the corp, check to see their terrible stance and lgbtq+/women rights.
