I love those old sixties era Ford trucks. I'm partial and biased to the 1965 F250 custom cab series since my dad had one in a beautiful Caribbean turquoise color. I'm always looking for one to buy and use either as a farm truck or sunday driver to town.
The original color is what you have on the dash. The color blue on your doors was painted later. That color blue was not an option in the early 60s Ford F100 trucks
It's a 1962. 1961 had the FORD letters in the grille. I have a '62 and the letters are above the grille as is yours. Great video. I'll be removing my devices soon for repainting the dash. Thanks for the information.
I was looking forward to the dash removal part, seems you forgot to show that ! I have a 63 l want to take the dash out of . If you could cut out background noise/ music it would go a long way in making the video more useful, just makes you hard to understand !
Not all of them had the air vent control knobs that's neat

Thanks. I am trying to remove the dash knobs and hadn't figured out the wiper knob yet. I'll look for the button on the bottom
Thank you! Been trying to figure out how to remove the nobs!

The baby blue on the dash is spray paint. The navy blue is the factory color. This truck was manufactured for the Air Force.
@Lucky Paws Garage OK thanks for the info. The dark color blue would like really nice on your truck.
@@isidorogarcia4803 it really would. It’s a shame it was painted over so many times.
Thanks this really helped.
Larry Dunn glad to hear!

The dash is just secured with a few Philips head screws.
@@luckypawsgarage 😂
Does this apply to the 63
Yes, 61 to 66 trucks are very similar.
