I figured out after a while that nothing worked right on my 65 dashboard until I screwed it back into the dash, didn't know that is how it got its ground, drove me crazy there for a while 😂. Good luck on your build.

Definitely working better since I screwed it back into the dash, but still having issues with a brake light and blinker. I need to put some time into figuring out the problem, but really don't understand what could be wrong when you replace all the wires with OEM harnesses and have the same problem as before. I'm going to need some luck I'm sure.

Haven't seen many videos on replacing factory harness with factory replica. Nice work! 👍

Thank you! I haven't either. It seems like everybody just does an aftermarket harness from Painless or somebody. I just wanted to try and keep it as stock as I could. Not trying to win a show or anything, just how I wanted to experience the truck. I was glad I found a company that makes the factory harness for the 65/66 F100.

You too. I’ll send you a video on my maiden voyage.

Glad you finally got the new harness. What was the cost of the harness?

It was around $800. Maybe a little less.

That’s not bad for everything. My next issue is finding top dead center and learning how to set the timing. I am not a mechanic.

Me either. I just do research about whatever I need to do and give it a shot. Good luck!
