Did exactly this as very first mod on my 959, they work a treat and look excellent even after 12 months of use. Other more necessary mod for me was to replace the fixed 959 mirrors with folding from Moto Science. Thanks for the how to do it yourself video, hardest part I found of the installation was extracting the new bulb from it's packaging ;-)
TheMissendenFlyer Warranty replacements on the mirrors as they keep flopping around if they are actually folded a few times, no folding mirrors no warranty claims!
Yeah, that does look better. I just took delivery of my Panigale 1299 base which, unlike the S model does not have the full LED and I noticed that slight different yellowing as well. Great idea! Btw, my only upgrade was a comfort seat...which in my opinion makes all the difference in the world. Keep up the nice videos Mr Flyer 👍🏼✊🏼
Today I fitted a Philips Xtreme Vision +130 H4 headlight bulb to my CRF250L. Very easy job to do. Just come back from a night time test ride and it is a vast improvement on the light output of the original bulb plus the light is very white. Result!
As a previous lighting designer and purely fyi, there exists a terminology for these different colored lights and it's all referenced in color temperature from warm to cool or daylight. See the link. These days 'Cooler' temperature lights are deemed more visible than the 'warmer' or 'softer' temperatures of yesteryear. Of course yesteryear they weren't able to produce cooler lights with incandescent technology. Adios. www.westinghouselighting.com/color-temperature.aspx
I tried all the 'blue' halogen bulbs and just wasn't satisfied so stuck HID bulbs in my Sprint St. Got to have proper projector lenses though. They look a pretty good match on the Duc though.
Very good. Not so many years ago, any kind of home electrical maintenance on a Ducati would've almost certainly ended in melted panels and pungent smells..!
Your touring videos make me want to go out and buy a motorcycle again. I stopped riding 6 years ago when a bozo made an illegal u-turn on me and almost had me killed. I vouched I'd never get on a bike again after that, but your GS adventures really make me second guess my decision. Keep up the good work
TheMissendenFlyer thanks again for this mate, just fitted them and f me, they're so much brighter! Now... Single sided swing arm conversion anyone....!! 😝
Looks great! Out of interest - has anyone passed a MOT with these bulbs? I think 4200K is the UK legal limit but I’m just wondering if they can tell on a MOT test??
Replacing standard bulbs on any vehicle should be top priority for everyone - both Philips and Osram makes really good high output halogen and xenon bulbs. Some claim they don't last as long as other types of bulbs and that's not of any surprise to me, but beeing an electrician I can verify that bulbs just don't perform 100% to the day they die, they degrade over time. Some more than others ofcourse, and if you have a vehicle with xenon bulbs you should pay attention to the colour of the light - when they turn pink or purple they've lost nearly all their light output already.
The problem with these bulbs is that the blue coating heats the bulb much more (less life) and filters the light (less visibility). The best option is to mount a xenon light or a very high end LED aftermarket kit (really expensive and the quality is never like OEM LED lights). Unfortunately we are used to ride a GS and when you get on a bike with a halogen bulb it is quite of a shock ;)
TheMissendenFlyer agreed mate, they certainly do! You can replace them with LED's but i wouldnt like to comment on what the beam pattern would be like without taking the gamble lol. www.autobulbsdirect.co.uk/H11-Twenty20-Cree-LED-12V-Canbus-Foglight-Bulb.html
Check out cyclops adventure sports, 4 times the light, less power and easy install. No fuss, no ballasts, nothing. Have them on my KTM 1290 Super Adventure.
The problem with the cyclops adventure sports LED light is the cost - $74 each plus shipping so there's not going to be much change from £100, also they need clearance at the back for the heat sink/fan, they seem to be very bright though.
I had it on my ducati Hypermotard. Was able to close the factory cap on the back of the housing, the heatsink aren't as big as you think. They are extremely bright! Well worth the investment.
Hi TMF, much better and I will be doing the same. I have the "cheap 1299" which has the same lighting, dual LED running and the normal bulbs. You think for all that cash they would put full LED's on. DGS
Be interesting to see what you think at night I've used the blue effect bulbs from Osram can't remember the model look good to look at but the beam is ridiculous as in crap
Did the same on my 899 and also did the main beam a few months later OMG what a nightmare as you have to take all the fairings off, the nose cone and pull out the headlight unit
Yes I don't think I'll bother with the main beam for that reason - plus I very rarely ride my Panigale in the dark (in fact I don't think I ever have) so the main beam never gets used anyway....
Another interesting episode. I installed H7 LEDs on my '08 Sprint ST. Results? Poor. The reflector/projector/lense geometry for the center high beam is a disaster to begin with and the LED made it worse - if that was even possible. The outboard low beams were decent to begin with but swapping in the LEDs tampered with the lighting geometry and caused the projectors to throw out a smaller and narrower pattern. Turning on the key to hear the lamp cooling fans come on was a bit disconcerting too. Also, alot of work is required to remove the 'cockpit' on the ST along with modifications to install the LEDs. I removed them, returned to the vendor and reinstalled the halogens. I finally came to terms(?) the bike has a useless high beam - Triumph really dropped the ball with that design.
Actually it's been proven that different color lighting is more noticable and opposing drivers actually focus on it more intently. While it was tested with Amber lenses I would think any color variation causes more attention.
Hi, did you ever replace the high beam bulbs as well, just noticed after changing the main as per this video that when I tried high beam they are also orange?
Amazing how much better that looks over the standard bulbs, test riding a 959 at the weekend so probably order the bulbs on the off chance I buy one.... I say off Chance , Big chance. I'm sold on the panigales looks alone 😁
Hiya, so getting to grips with the RS and enjoying it more than a expect arrow can makes it sound even better. For this gear fun and slow sunny cruise can't see me getting rid of the thruxton, not yet anyway. Which brings me to my mile muncher explorer xca, it is great and M1 munching from Silsoe to Islington a few times a month, more of weather is good. But, but it's big and heavy clutch very heavy. So to the point I'm not chasing a classic Ducati sport and am now thinking about chopping the explorer for supersport s 899 or the 959 pan, not bothered about the 12, can't see me ever using what it's designed for. I'd be interested to hear you're thoughts on my little possible game plan. I've ridden for well over 25 years, commute, to a scratcher and like a bit of something different. Live as said similar road availability to you. I am involv d in law and order and like the bikes for, therapy distraction. Actually getting garage completely fitted out to secure and work on the bikes in a month so serious about it all. Find the blogs fair comment on bikes I like, have you risen the new s and 959 I haven't trawled through all the vids u have as yet?
No I've not ridden the S or the 959, unfortunately the local Ducati dealer doesn't return my calls or e-mails, but I'll keep trying! I love the 899, I think your plan is a good one! Enjoy - TMF
I'm curious TMF, is the beam intensity and distance any better with the new bulbs? I seem to have read somewhere that the bluish tint painted onto the bulb to give the "whiter" light results in a shorter and less intense beam.
I've always thought the whiter/bluer bulbs were actually less lumens. So they look better but are less bright at night. What are the output ratings compared to the OEM bulbs?
Hi, just an observation, I have a 1299s and had a standard 1299 before and unless I'm being particularly dim, unlike your panigale I am unable to run the bike with just the led running lights as there is no way to turn the headlights off. I will have to check later when I get home.
TheMissendenFlyer I might be wrong, just turned the ignition on and just the side lights come on, so I was being dim lol. Fairly sure once the engine is running headlights are on, but running acropovic cans so can't check tonight as don't think the neighbours would appreciate it
I can confirm this. There is no option on my 2017 959 to ride it with only leds on. The minute you ignite the bike the dippers come on by default. Btw wonderful upgrade with the bulbs TMF! Going to replicate this on my panigale sooner than later
You are right they do look a lot better, but have you tried these bulbs at night at all? If so, how do they perform compared to the originals? I've fitted Philips Vision xtreme +130% to both my car and bike and they have made a huge difference to night time vision and are whiter too. Although not as white as these. Another good vid, cheers! 👍
+Andy Domanski Cheers Andy, tbh I don't tend to ride the 899 at night and haven't had the chance to test these properly yet,I'm not expecting them to be brighter than stock (in fact quite the reverse!). Thanks for watching - TMF
The only difference i can see is the MTS bulb comes in a plastic holder which has the plug in point on it mate. i initially thought you pulled the bulb out of this but its all one unit.
TheMissendenFlyer Thanks for your quick reply. I just went out and started my “base” 1299 and yes, it appears you would need 2 more for the brights. Good news and bad news. The bad news is it looks like you’d have to take front fairing off to install bright light replacements..... and the good news is that due to the fact that the brights sit just above the LED running lights, the yellowing effect is not so obvious. Makes sense. What say you..... Cheers!
TheMissendenFlyer Was curious what/where Missenden UK was to get an idea if you were close to any of the great UK circuits, and Lo and behold...appears that are closest to the most legendary of them all...Silverstone. With the 3 to 4 pretty good straights and some serious fast corners....has got to be one of the fastest and greatest circuits in the world. What I would give to blast through the International Pitt straight through Abby and Farm +++. So many iconic names and corners. Must be some serious great fun hey?
Bummer! I know you don't use highbeam as much but it's a pain to still have those the yellow colour. I have a 959 Corse coming in March and will definitely be looking to do this early on. Thanks for the video
If they are the correct fit I don't see why not - there will be equivalents available (although they may be harder to get at than the Paingale's lights)...
+Qais Alehremi Its not a big issue here in the U.K. where the ambient temperature tends to be low - a bit of heat off the engine is a positive bonus here!
Tempted to do the same mod to my CRF250L. As a matter of interest I am currently in North Wales on my R1200GS. As good as Scotland but (for me) a lot closer. Do you ever go there?
Yes I have toured Wales many times on the bike and hope to get back there before the season is out if I possibly can - great riding to be had as you say......not quite up there with the highlands in my view but it's certainly easier to get too......
Theses Bulbs which definitely look better are not road legal unfortunately 😥 So don't bin your old ones as your probably need to put them back in for the MOT. Great reviews though, and yes you convinced me to buy an 899 which is now lives in my dinning room when I'm not riding it 😁
I have KTM 450 exc and ZX6 r that I've owned since 98 which I can't bear to part with taking up all the room in my shed, so it's a good excuse to have her in the house until I get my she'd turned into a larger brick structure with electric and a descent bench to work on 😉 Anytime you fancy some off roading around Salisbury plane on your CRF look me up and I'd be happy to show you around. The wife was traded in years ago 😜
Great mod, I see we're in for really cold spell in the next few days. Let's hope for the 'fabled great summer. Watch g the news last night & Chequers was on & I said to the missus " my mate on RUclips goes thrre" she said I was off my head 🖒🖒😎
hehe, yup, i have still to bother changing those on mine.. but what i really would like to mod.. is to make high beams keep the lows on, to see both the exit and the middle of the turn. not have to choose.
Nice one! By the way, have you thought of creating any car stickers for your RUclips channel TMF, to advertise it? I'd gladly put one on the back of mine. It's only an idea. :-)
Some of the new "all in one" units are, others have a small external driver box but are still plug and play. :) I have a couple in my Multi; 10 mins and a couple of cable ties.
From around €20 for good but not that penetrating (2500 lumens/bulb) to €90 for face melting (4000 lumens, outperforms the Philips Ultinon costing €280). Prices are per pair. Lots in between too, a good medium priced one (3000-3500 lumens) is about €50/pair (set).
Agreed! ...and yes, why Ducati did away with the folding 899 lights I don't know, they are so useful....
TheMissendenFlyer Warranty replacements on the mirrors as they keep flopping around if they are actually folded a few times, no folding mirrors no warranty claims!
I fold mine all the time (both ways) and have had no issues....I'm glad to say (crossing fingers)...
Thanks Craig will do!
Today I fitted a Philips Xtreme Vision +130 H4 headlight bulb to my CRF250L. Very easy job to do. Just come back from a night time test ride and it is a vast improvement on the light output of the original bulb plus the light is very white. Result!
+Nicholas Crocker I hadn't thought of doing the CRF, good idea!
Same story on my Monster 1200. Thanks, I'll check that out - looks great with the new bulbs!
Nice one Alex - enjoy!
So much better, looks cool as it is but a lot cooler now. Well done nice mod
Cheers - and I agree :0)
Good choice on replacement of the bulbs
Thank you Jack - look good don't they!
As a previous lighting designer and purely fyi, there exists a terminology for these different colored lights and it's all referenced in color temperature from warm to cool or daylight. See the link. Of course yesteryear they weren't able to produce cooler lights with incandescent technology. Adios.

I always upgrade the stock bulbs on all my vehicles for a brighter whiter type 👍🏻
Nice one :0)
I tried all the 'blue' halogen bulbs and just wasn't satisfied so stuck HID bulbs in my Sprint St. Got to have proper projector lenses though. They look a pretty good match on the Duc though.
Yes this is basically an aesthetic thing for me, I don't tend to ride the 899 at night unless I have too....
Very good. Not so many years ago, any kind of home electrical maintenance on a Ducati would've almost certainly ended in melted panels and pungent smells..!
Hehe, yes you never quite know how even the simplest mod is going to go until you try it on the Pani :0)
Your touring videos make me want to go out and buy a motorcycle again. I stopped riding 6 years ago when a bozo made an illegal u-turn on me and almost had me killed. I vouched I'd never get on a bike again after that, but your GS adventures really make me second guess my decision. Keep up the good work
Glad to hear I'm making you think about a return, thanks for watching and for stopping by - TMF
boom - just bought. Friend has the 1199s and the led looks amazing on his - thanks alot bud, 8994ever !
Cheers Nigel - great mod, easy to do and cheap - what's not to like!
TheMissendenFlyer absolutely right - also took my mirrors off and got the flush indicators and barend mirror - tasty ☺️ thanks again!
Nice one :0)
TheMissendenFlyer thanks again for this mate, just fitted them and f me, they're so much brighter! Now... Single sided swing arm conversion anyone....!! 😝
Great stuff Nige - glad you like 'em (loving mine!).....
Looks great! Out of interest - has anyone passed a MOT with these bulbs? I think 4200K is the UK legal limit but I’m just wondering if they can tell on a MOT test??
I'd be surprised if an MOT would pick that up....I'll find out soon enough!
We got both 2017 Ducati Panigale 1299 and 1299s - we ordered a 1299 with full LED and upgraded dash $2000 from factory.
Harley Davidson Breakout Ducati Panigale 1299 I think the dash is the same on both bikes. What do you mean?
I did this recently to my 899 Panigale, great video, thank you :)

Unfortunately we are used to ride a GS and when you get on a bike with a halogen bulb it is quite of a shock ;)
:0) I don't ride my Panigale at night so this is really just a vanity thing......
Although you get less visible light with these bulbs as its basically filtering out some of the usable light!
True - but they do look cool!
TheMissendenFlyer agreed mate, they certainly do!
You can replace them with LED's but i wouldnt like to comment on what the beam pattern would be like without taking the gamble lol.
www.autobulbsdirect.co.uk/H11-Twenty20-Cree-LED-12V-Canbus-Foglight-Bulb.html
You are a shining light in a dark world
Thank you Snarkman....
Great install video. BTW, are the brake/clutch levers OEM? They look red!
Nice job. Wish my versys had 2 daytime running lights not just the one.
Yeah that annoys the heck out of me, seems to be mainly the Japanese manufacturers that do that....
Quick and (somewhat) easy; nice improvement to match the LED's.
Agreed, easy, quick and cheap - what's not to like!
Hi TMF, much better and I will be doing the same. I have the "cheap 1299" which has the same lighting, dual LED running and the normal bulbs. You think for all that cash they would put full LED's on. DGS
Indeed....luckily this is a cheap and easy mode though...enjoy...
I found it little less fiddly if you take the ignition and side covers off first.
Be interesting to see what you think at night I've used the blue effect bulbs from Osram can't remember the model look good to look at but the beam is ridiculous as in crap
Well I tend not to ride at night so that's not going to be an issue but good point and I should have mentioned that in the video...
Best expensive mod is to swap out the bulb headlight assembly for the 1199 / 1299 S model LEDs.
:0)
Made a massive difference to the look! Do you get better road coverage at night?
I agree,...and I don't know as I don't tend to ride the Panigale at night, I suspect they wont be as bright....
Just done this mod today! Thanks for the vid mate
...it's worth doing isn't it - cheap and looks brill...what's not to like!
no tools needed... 5 mins later "if you use a screwdriver" ..... haha. Good vid chap 👍
Yeah sorry about that... :o0
I'm confused: what's the lug that you loosened with a screwdriver? I thought they were no screws involved?
Oh dear......these bulbs by the way aren't actually LED, they are just colour temperature corrected to give off a whiter light that looks similar....
I did this to my zx 636 👍
Actually it's been proven that different color lighting is more noticable and opposing drivers actually focus on it more intently. While it was tested with Amber lenses I would think any color variation causes more attention.
Interesting, and I'm sure you're right...I shall be sticking with my lovely new bright white lights though ;0)
Excellent mod. Do you have rear LED indicators? I have LED (front & rear) indicators on my ST3, and that's one of my favourite mods to my bike.
+Nigel Street Yes I had the Dealer fit the optional Ducati Performance led rear indicators when I bought the bike - much nicer than stock....
Beautiful improvement, thanks for another informative video
Yes I was really pleased with the mod - it's very easy to do and as you say really improves the look of the bike....thanks for watching - TMF
Good job - probably need to do this on my RS too
Yes it's a great mod, easy to do and cheap - what's not to like!
very helpful.Ill definitely upgrade my 959 lights now ive seen this
Great - It's dead easy to do and definitely improves the look of the bike, I'm still pleased with mine...thanks for watching - TMF
Hi, did you ever replace the high beam bulbs as well, just noticed after changing the main as per this video that when I tried high beam they are also orange?
No I didn’t
Changed mine to Philips Diamond vision 1.5years ago they look good and a perfect match with the leds but they ain't as bright as the originals
Yes I guess the blue filter kills some of the brightness, I don't tend to ride at night unless I have too, so I'm not too bothered on that.....
How will yellow warm LEDs look?
Just wondering.
Actually the halogen and LED together looks cool.
Amazing how much better that looks over the standard bulbs, test riding a 959 at the weekend so probably order the bulbs on the off chance I buy one.... I say off Chance , Big chance. I'm sold on the panigales looks alone 😁
...that's what does it for me...
Hiya, so getting to grips with the RS and enjoying it more than a expect arrow can makes it sound even better.
TBH I haven't tried them at night yet, I tend not to ride much at night and I'm not even sure I ever have the Panigale!!
Excellent video. Any chance you would be reviewing the new Supersport S?
I'd love too but alas my local Ducati dealer isn't returning my calls or answering my e-mails :0(
TheMissendenFlyer You'll have to get on yer bike then 😉
You have a very beautiful panigale 👍
Thank you :0)
You are a gentleman and a scholar sir! Or you sir are a gentleman and a scholar! Whatever it is.
Why thank you!
Have you had any issues with these bulbs in terms of power consumption or do they draw the same current as the OEM's?
I think (assume!) the current draw is the same as OEM - I haven't had any issues anyway...
TheMissendenFlyer cheers, yea voltage and power are the same as OEM so looks good
I've always thought the whiter/bluer bulbs were actually less lumens. So they look better but are less bright at night. What are the output ratings compared to the OEM bulbs?
Yes they are slightly less bright in use, I should have mentioned that (the blue filter that takes out the yellow hue blocks some of the output)....
put these on y 2006 zzr1400 and they are great upgrade.
+waylander07 Good stuff - very pleased with mine...
Hi, just an observation, I have a 1299s and had a standard 1299 before and unless I'm being particularly dim, unlike your panigale I am unable to run the bike with just the led running lights as there is no way to turn the headlights off. I will have to check later when I get home.
How odd....
TheMissendenFlyer I might be wrong, just turned the ignition on and just the side lights come on, so I was being dim lol. Fairly sure once the engine is running headlights are on, but running acropovic cans so can't check tonight as don't think the neighbours would appreciate it

+Andy Domanski Cheers Andy, tbh I don't tend to ride the 899 at night and haven't had the chance to test these properly yet,I'm not expecting them to be brighter than stock (in fact quite the reverse!). Thanks for watching - TMF
Good tip, did the same on my Multstrada cheers.
Was it easy to do on the MTS??
The only difference i can see is the MTS bulb comes in a plastic holder which has the plug in point on it mate.
i initially thought you pulled the bulb out of this but its all one unit.
I'll be giving this a go!
Why wouldn't you! :0)
just started you tube channel. not the same quality as yours.keep up the good work.
Good luck with it TWF!
Nice tidy cheap mod, they look good.. 👍🏻
Cheers Glenn
Another question: you’ve only bought 2 of these white replacement bulbs. How about for the “brights”??? Do you need 2 more? Thanks Mr Flyer.....
Good question! I don't think so (although that ,makes no logical sense) - I'll check next time I'm in the garage!
+Craig Elmendorf ....I don’t tend to ride the Panigale at night much - given the likely fitting hassles I’ll give that one a miss! Cheers - TMF
TheMissendenFlyer yeah, probably a smart move ole chap. My dealership’s going to charge me $100.00 to put them bulbs in 🤕😜
TheMissendenFlyer Was curious what/where Missenden UK was to get an idea if you were close to any of the great UK circuits, and Lo and behold...appears that are closest to the most legendary of them all...Silverstone. how is the illumination, I've always found the bulb of blue "tinted" variety to be less intense.
I'm sure it probably is, to be honest I've never ridden my Panigale at night though, so not a big problem for me...
Ever ridden at night?
What about light brightness?
Can you see whats going on in front of you on the streets...?
Very good 👍
can 959 headlights replace with 1299s full led headlight
I was wondering if the
heat that it gives off can damage the plastic of the motorcycle headlight. Could it happens?
Hasn't happened so far!
TheMissendenFlyer thanks for your answer! So, are you still using it without any problem? I guess.

Can you get at the high-beam lights the same way or do you need to take the front off to change those?
I think you need to remove the fairing, much more complicated job....
Bummer! I know you don't use highbeam as much but it's a pain to still have those the yellow colour. I have a 959 Corse coming in March and will definitely be looking to do this early on. Thanks for the video
Would these led bulbs work on the street triple RS TMF?
If they are the correct fit I don't see why not - there will be equivalents available (although they may be harder to get at than the Paingale's lights)...
Please tell us, how do you manege the heat from the panigale
+Qais Alehremi Its not a big issue here in the U.K. where the ambient temperature tends to be low - a bit of heat off the engine is a positive bonus here!
I stand up on my pegs to get a nice cold breeze under there
can i use HID?, just wonder the ballast can hide inside fairing not
If you can find someplace secure and snug to mount the ballast with 3m mounting tape then you’re fine
Great video.
Thanks....
I'm quite jealous of your man cave!
Thanks Mark, when you live with three females a chap needs somewhere to escape too!
TheMissendenFlyer When you live with one you need it just as bad !
did you change the highbeam lights too?
Nope...to be fair I seldom ride this bike at night (in fact, sadly, I seldom ride it - not been on her since last August!!)....
can i use that philips H11 for high beam?
like it what are like in the dark
No idea I'm afraid, I don't tend to ride at night.....should have mentioned that in the video - my bad!
i got the same for my fazer ;-)
That's one beautiful motorcycle TMF
Thank you DC, it takes after its owner ;0)
how about the high beam is its the same type H11?
Err dunno...sorry!
Good on you bud 🖒😎
Cheers!
Why not use an led bulb?
Tempted to do the same mod to my CRF250L. As a matter of interest I am currently in North Wales on my R1200GS. As good as Scotland but (for me) a lot closer. Do you ever go there?
Yes I have toured Wales many times on the bike and hope to get back there before the season is out if I possibly can - great riding to be had as you say......not quite up there with the highlands in my view but it's certainly easier to get too......
Might have to give this a go on the Nuda.
Why not! Looks good and is cheap - what's not to like!
How about main beam?
That's still yellow but as I never use it (and its a faff to change), that's how it's staying!
can I use for 1299
Yep!
How much is your yearly insurance cost on the Panigale?
I have a 1299 and the first year with a tracker was £1200, now £500 with no issues in the second year. I live in South London with a garage
thanks for reply.
I have mine on a multibike policy so not really useful for you - think it's around the £380 mark....
Tells us to wear gloves, proceeded to not wear gloves 😅
Theses Bulbs which definitely look better are not road legal unfortunately 😥
So don't bin your old ones as your probably need to put them back in for the MOT.
Great reviews though, and yes you convinced me to buy an 899 which is now lives in my dinning room when I'm not riding it 😁
Nice! ....not married I'm guessing????
I have KTM 450 exc and ZX6 r that I've owned since 98 which I can't bear to part with taking up all the room in my shed, so it's a good excuse to have her in the house until I get my she'd turned into a larger brick structure with electric and a descent bench to work on 😉
Anytime you fancy some off roading around Salisbury plane on your CRF look me up and I'd be happy to show you around.
The wife was traded in years ago 😜
I knew it!!
lol
Great mod, I see we're in for really cold spell in the next few days. Let's hope for the 'fabled great summer. Watch g the news last night & Chequers was on & I said to the missus " my mate on RUclips goes thrre" she said I was off my head 🖒🖒😎
Yes in fact I rode past chequers yesterday just to check out all the TV news crews....how sad am I!
nice bike
nice light 😉
Agreed :0)
Why not change to an LED bulb?
Wanted something cheap and a straight swap - these were recommended so I went for it....
Next.. please show us how to change the high beams with no tools ;)
I think there may be a bit of a wait on that one ;0)
hehe, yup, i have still to bother changing those on mine.. but what i really would like to mod.. is to make high beams keep the lows on, to see both the exit and the middle of the turn. not have to choose.
Love your videos. I just posted a top Mods for our 959 wanna check it out and tell me what you think!?!?
Nice one!
By the way, have you thought of creating any car stickers for your RUclips channel TMF, to advertise it? I'd gladly put one on the back of mine. It's only an idea. :-)
Hehe, I can't imagine too many people would want to be associated with me, but thanks for the kind thought!
RIP headphone users on the intro..
:0)
I thought you couldn't hold out for too long without changing them, think you are as OCD as me 🤣👍
:0) Sorry I forgot to credit you G-Man, it was entirely down to you that I went this route - nice one!
TheMissendenFlyer , no worries buddy, there are so many things you have recommended on you tube thst I have used/purchased that I've lost count 😜
easy peasey, the way it should be on all motorcycles in my opinion,
Agreed 100%
are your jeans tight enough? :)
Dont touch the god damn bulbs barefingered you sillies.
Better yet, put real LEDs in. There are some very good ones out now. I actually import them from China for my mates. ;)
Fair enough....are they straight swaps though like these?
Some of the new "all in one" units are, others have a small external driver box but are still plug and play. :)
I have a couple in my Multi; 10 mins and a couple of cable ties.
Nice one.....cost?
From around €20 for good but not that penetrating (2500 lumens/bulb) to €90 for face melting (4000 lumens, outperforms the Philips Ultinon costing €280). Prices are per pair.
Lots in between too, a good medium priced one (3000-3500 lumens) is about €50/pair (set).
Next Episode.. Best cheap Mod for The Missenden Flyers bald head,,,some left-over velcro! BaHaHahaAHa!! ...er..Sorry
Thanks for that Dave....
Bring back the yellow light that is halogen. It's just better, in my opinion.
Dinosaur! ;0)
first one here. hehehe and first like
Well done sir!
Stop doing the weird facial pictures - you're frightening my children - and they are both in their 20's!! ;-)
Weird? That's my normal face....
Ah, that explains the "hey kids", you are trying to frighten people's kids, now it all makes sense! :)
how about the high beams
+HondaBassInYourFace Not quite so straightforward those!
TheMissendenFlyer thats why i want to see a video on changing them out lol i wanna change both on my 1299
TheMissendenFlyer love ur videos btw
