Don’t part out. Build a stock bottom end 30 with arp conrod bolts with rods resized for factory clearances, oil pump, hi octane oil sump, restrictors, grubbed crank, head gasket, stud and drop in valve springs. Will be good for 500rwhp with a meaty off boost torque perfect for street duties and roll racing.
Modifications to the inlet manifold and or lower engine mounts+subframe spacers as the 30 sit 35ish mill higher in the deck height. well as awd adapter plate.
That’s my plan with my 33 without the awd parts…… would do it to my Stagea but the car has 116000ks and has a healthy rb25det atm. If I was in your case that the route I would go, no need for a expensive bottom end as your not drifting and bouncing of the rev limiter…. Keep rpm below 7500 and it’ll be sweet.
Good luck mate and don’t lose faith in the Stagea!

I definitely don't WANT to part out... If I can save the 25 block I'd rather do that right now as I don't have the cash to build up the 30 just yet. I've filmed us looking at the condition of the 30 block and while it is usable, it needs boring and so needs some aftermarket pistons... that video should be out soon-ish.
I also would like to drift and have it survive a little bit of limi bashing haha... so will be wanting to build it right the first time.
Definitely been looking at the height difference as well, I think I'll be ok as I've already got the forward facing intake and from what I can see, Stageas fit the 30 in relatively easily(?) but yep I'll have to do some more reading on that one.
Thanks for the comment man, so much to think about at the moment for sure!

You are doing just fine, It does not take much to hurt this engine, I missed a shift and broke the oil pump. Just that quick. Welcome to the club B.A.S.C.
