    It’s magical to see what you uncover hidden in a branch or log. Very inspirational. For me, that is the hardest part, trying to discern what the wood is telling me or the direction it is moving me.

      Thank you! Ya, that's the hard part. Sometimes I don't know what it will be until after I start.

    I’ve turned a lot of twig pots, Aspen, Pine, Cherry, Mesquite, Cottonwood, all from branches from my trees and those of friends. I like to leave some bark on sometimes. Also have turned some from glue-up blanks using walnut, maple, ash and other hardwood scraps. Do all my turning with carbide tools. Just hate all that time sharping chisels. Really like your videos, keep that wood turning.

      Thank you James! I appreciate that! I could never get into carbide. I use them occasionally for certain things. I only use a couple tools most of the time so sharpening isn't a big deal. 90% of my turning is with a 1/2 bowl gouge and it takes about 30 seconds to sharpen. So it works out for me. Sounds like you do a lot of nice projects. Keep it turning. 👍

    Hi. What is the price range of your work at craft shows? Is it possible to buy items from you and have it shipped within the U.S?

    • @RcWoodturning
      @RcWoodturning  5 месяцев назад

      My price range for the most part range from 5.00 to about 25.00. I don't do it for the money so my prices are probably less than most other people. I haven't really done much online selling. I've always preferred people see in person before they buy.
