  • 100 year oak to craft show antique. This was a oak 4x4 from a 100 year old building. I used it to make an antique vase for the craft show. This woodturning video was a wood turning project turning antique wood to an antique vase. I only sanded to 180 grit to give an old surface look. I think the cracks really enhance the antique look. Finished with friction polish.

Very nice. I love using old discarded wood and turning it into “rustic chic!” You’ve given a beautiful example. Well done.

Super nice. Curious to what you were able to get for it (hope you don’t mind the question). I never have a good feel for pricing… because of age and how gorgeous the vase is I’d put it around $75 ….

I would sell it for around 35 dollars. But I'm not in it for money. It took about 20 minutes.

What size and type is the drill bit you use?

It's a 1/2 gator bit. It came in a set of 5. I got them at Lowe's. I've seen similar on Amazon.
