- 100 year oak to craft show antique. This was a oak 4x4 from a 100 year old building. I used it to make an antique vase for the craft show. This woodturning video was a wood turning project turning antique wood to an antique vase. I only sanded to 180 grit to give an old surface look. I think the cracks really enhance the antique look. Finished with friction polish.

Looks incredible. Great job
Thank you!
Very nice. I love using old discarded wood and turning it into “rustic chic!” You’ve given a beautiful example. Well done.
Thank you Doug!
I appreciate you watching!

Thank you Lynda!
I was going for an antique look.
Thanks for watching!

Thank you Larry!
Appreciate you watching!
Fun one
Thank you!
Super nice. Curious to what you were able to get for it (hope you don’t mind the question). I never have a good feel for pricing… because of age and how gorgeous the vase is I’d put it around $75 ….
I would sell it for around 35 dollars. But I'm not in it for money. It took about 20 minutes.
What size and type is the drill bit you use?
It's a 1/2 gator bit. It came in a set of 5. I got them at Lowe's. I've seen similar on Amazon.
