I wonder if Chad has ever considered creating a Van Life cookbook of all the recipes we've seen him make over the years. I imagine some of these would be pretty delicious even if made at home.
@@scottbuxton7347 that’s funny, there’s never a video without the old Italian sausage. I did mention to Chad once when there was no Italian sausage that maybe something was wrong, to his amusement
Of all the blogs and vlogs that I watch you have the best production qualities. Love your drone work the scenes are magnificent. Your choice of mood music is tops too.
It's my personal perception that the thing LTVL's audience comes back for is the solitude it can very well relate to (because, you guessed it, people are terribly lonesome). Too many people in front of the camera, colorful distractions, fun things to do... veer off course for what the folks originally came here for. That is why the video that virtually launched the channel was almost devoid of words, just the vast white emptiness, a metal mug of whiskey, a profound solitude and admiration for the beauty of nature.
I thought you should know your channel was a big inspiration for buying my own van two weeks ago and beginning my own build. Starting out humbly with a 2002 all-wheel-drive Astrovan.
Thanks for sharing this my friend. I love been following your adventures for a long time. I appreciate you videos especially when you start cooking and the winter ones. The Artic series was nice. Thanks for sharing.
Amazing content Chad. From the second you hooked up with these guys on the Baja 1000 video it was clear that "living the van life" is all about this sort of stuff. You talked before crossing the border about being out of your comfort zone and how nervous you were and then BOOM within 24 hours you got the payoff for taking the chance, with an experience of a lifetime. Appreciate all you do, the skill with which you make your videos and the positive energy. Legend 💪
Loved this video.. reminded me of the time about 20 years ago when a good friend of mine thet owned a restaurant/Bar in Cabo San Lucas and myself drove all the way back from Cabo too Orange County california over a 4 days trip and I’ve never forgotten it, woukd love to do it again someday. Was the most beautiful picturesque scenery I’ve ever seen in my life with the land going from Reds to Blacks and mountains and then coming around turns out in the middle of nowhere and seeing palm trees and the most beautiful crystal clear blue ocean I’ve ever seen in my life where we pulled over and went snorkeling & had a few beers sitting by the edge of the sea with nobody or nothing around us for hundreds of miles, was just amazing!! I encourage anyone thsts never done it to definitely do it before you can’t any longer, hoping to do this again some day and your video is making me want to leave today. Thanks!! 👍👍
Great footage Chad. I went with my husband and 2 dtrs to the Baja 500 & 1000 more than 10 yrs ago as a Ham operator for race/safety purposes. I ended up doing first aid as an EMT at a chase plane crash. That was an adventure. Fortunately there were no injuries incurred by those on board the plan. We had memories beyond and then some. My intro was kind of special. A man herding goats was swinging his machete and yelling in Spanish he would kill anyone that hit his goats. You know what? I believe him and passed that message to share with the drives. To my knowledge, no goats were injured during the race, at least not near me. All that action must be tough on the local residents.
Wow...loving all that gorgeous Sea of Cortez footage, and your hike up to the abandoned structure at the top of the stairs. Windsurfing on the Sea of Cortez has been on my bucket list for a while; gotta get down there!
Looking forward to the next videos in this series. I really enjoyed the Baja 1000 adventure in November so pretty sure I am going to enjoy this one too. Be safe down there. Have fun. Enjoy. Love from Canada.
That was a cracking video Chad ! Even as a vegetarian and usually eating as i watch , your cooking always makes me hungry! Great drone video work as always. Nice to see the race team again also !
Chad, it always makes me happy when you are not alone! I know you enjoy your nomad life, but can't help feeling sad when you can't share these awesome adventures with someone with you! You are an inspiration to soooooo many and give us insight into so many interesting and varied experiences! God bless your sharing your life and adventures! Tacos and nachos are my life! Peace out!
Love the drone shots. I’ve seen many videos of vanners going there but these are by far the best pictures to really see the places. And the music choices were perfect.
Hello Chad, I have been following you for quite a while, and I love all your videos, the Arctic adventure was phenomenal, Keep up the great videos! One thing, never put olive oil on the boiling spaghettis, it makes the pasta slick and the sauce won't stick. Cheers and keep making those videos! Buon Appettit!
Hi Chad - I‘m looking forward to this Baja Series - cant‘wait for it - what a expirience - and It was nice to see Eldad in the movie again - say Hi to him and enjoy yout time - cool stuff - Greets urs from Switzerland 🤟
I'm not sure how you live life completely free of responsibility, but I am certainly thankful that I've created a life that I can work for and enjoy the life I lead. Thanks for watching!
Hi my friend, I love your videos. For cooking I suggest you to remove any oil when you cook pasta. Don't add oil in the water. Why ? because the pasta are made with bronze molds in order to have a certain roughness on the surface of the pasta. Why roughness is needed ? because when you add sauce like tomato... the roughness make the sauce to attach on the pasta. By adding oil you remove completely the roughness effect. Please continue to make nice and amazing videos.
What's up Chad?!! From The Arctic to the sunny California to Mexico ah! You know how to live a little! Great video,as always! Great soundtrack choices, as always. Greetings from the other side of the world 🌍🇬🇧 Ps.... From an Italian girl... Great pasta dish Chad!
You know Chad, maybe the next thing you should start would be a Cooking Channel. Some of the food that you make and eat look pretty amazing. I'm sure your fans on the LTVL Channel want to know how you make such delicious food AND, how do you get these recipes? Come on man, you gotta share with your fan base.. lol
Hey, Chad, good to meet you at OXPO Redmond last week. We spent a week just North of this campsite area North of San Felipe. There were some homes being built and some larger development just North. When the economy went south, the building dried up and what was there was scavenged by the locals. On top of it, there apparently was no ability to get fresh water right to this area, so it just kinda dried up. We tried to find that road into the beach in the Syncro, but never did. Pretty cool place to camp though huh? Cheers!
Stunning video!! You have really stepped up your game. I have enjoyed your content for years now and always will be thrilled when I see you post. Well done. God bless
Nice to see you enjoying a warmer climate. Thank you for another awesome video. Been following the channel for some years now and the videos just get better and better. Keep up the good work.
Chad, that looked awesome, mental and insainly great fun...Great to see LTVL branching out down into Mexico, and loved seeing eldad again, Takes me back to the vanagon days... Great food as well chad. And great footage of Mexico with the drone following the sprinter through town. Until the next time...Peace out, keep on Trucking.
Ummm, when shopping at Seaside and cooking on the beach, you are REQUIRED to cook Cardiff crack! (I think it’s a city ordinance or something) Enjoyed the episode. Looking forward to the next one. Thanks.
Love your videos! I certainly miss that California coastline! Your Baja adventure last year was epic. Thanks for sharing with us. We used to venture down to San Felipe about 30 years ago, great seafood.
Not gonna lie, when you did the town tour of San Filipe, with that music behind it, the first thing I thought of was "From Dusk Til Dawn"! 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Really enjoyed this video. Love the beach scenes! Take care and be safe out there! 👍🥰
Finally, another video! And a nice one, too. But I have to mention: You seem to never wash your groceries? And that (sponsored) knife?! Just makes every Chef shudder. Well, or laugh, hahaha.
Van Life must be so amazing in the USA, there is so much to explore but also you have Canada and all of South America. You should do a trip to the southern point of South America.
Again..quality time with a quality video and of course from chad the film maker..thank u so much chad for sharing your videos..keep safe and healthy..god bless u always and all the things you do
Such awesome content. Never stop making these. Been a huge fan & then discovered you shot for Racer X, transworld moto just made me a bigger fan! Moto is what fueled my love for photography some 16 years ago!!
Thanks, Corey. Ups and downs, as anyone experiences trying to follow their dreams. But very fortunate to have been able to pursue my passions, whether it be photography, my channel or my van. Yes, my time with Racer X and filming supercross and motox have been some of my favorite memories. Thanks for watching!
Wow....just saw this video and right in my hometown....would have been cool to see you in the market! So close! Actually, if you go back to the Seaside Market, you need to try their Cardiff Crack....very delicious meat. I think you would love it...already marinaded and a hit for family and friends gatherings. People can't get enough...they love it so much!
Love your videos. One piece of feedback which I am sure you may have heard before. When you are cooking it would be nice to have an explanation of what you are doing, basically explaining the recipe. I think that would be valuable. Great stuff though, I look forward to your videos. Slowly going through and watching all the old ones too.
Chad that was a great experience through your efforts 😊 specially the rally type driving 👍 beautiful beach 👌 always I enjoy watching your videos very nicely done 😊. keep going be safe and happy.

Baja. BRING IT ON. My Dads favorite place in the world. His ashes are spread on an isolated beach in Baja. Miss it.
Thanks for sharing this my friend. I love been following your adventures for a long time. I appreciate you videos especially when you start cooking and the winter ones. The Artic series was nice. Thanks for sharing.
Wow it's cold at 21 degrees, while I view this video its a mere 73 and climbing. Man and his dog make it so much more warmer. J
