I listen to this when I lay down to relax or go to sleep. Put it on loop. Put headphones on high and lay down. When took my 2 naps I woke each time to find I've been listening for 2 hours. I sleep lightly so could still here it. I can and do song with it word for word. Doing different person's parts each time.

This is the most creative arrangement of this piece of music I’ve ever heard. Who else thinks to put a trap beat in something like this? Also, subwoofer Geoff is back! So ready for the general public to hear this.

What about this: shot in the dark by Ac/Dc, collaborate with John Pinto Jr. will absolutely take full lead for his higher register as a countertenor, for the low harmonic unison by Cesar de la Rosa with Eil Jacobson will used 3rd octave, Geoff will used mixed of mostly subharmonic and some chest fry for the Bassline collaborate with Kevin Oulsa from Penatatonix with Adam Chance from Home Free for the high harmony.

Well, actually there is a choir and solo sections sung to the music. But probably far too non-Christian for the USA. Because the trolls and other underground kin are discussing how Peer Gynt stole the Mountain King's daughter's heart and what they would do to him if they caught him. Tearing out his hair, or making broth out of him.

@@RustyDust101 I looked it up after Geoff provided a link to Classics Explained and then I went looking for a few other sources. I was so surprised that there are lyrics to at least part of it. I’ve heard this song all my life and I knew it had to do something with trolls because my grandfather was Norwegian. I didn’t know the details of the story. Knowing those details makes it so much more interesting, at least to me.

Best all-bard D&D session I've ever seen. XD
Seriously though- you guys wanna know why you're so eye-catching and inspiring? Everything you do- every SINGLE song you've done- tells a STORY. You ALWAYS create a story for every performance, and it's SO much more than just awesome vocals and catchy arrangements. There's emotion, and thought, and personality. Every time. What I wouldn't GIVE to be able to tell stories like that. It amazes me, entertains and makes me think, "hey- maybe I can stop being be too freaked to actually put my own stories out there. Because they make such an awesome, positive change, and I wanna try to add onto that in my own special way."
You guys, altogether, are a living storybook, and I think we'd all hate to ever miss a single turn of the page. We need more storytellers in the world- you guys are magical, and don't you forget it.

This was my introduction to VoicePlay and til today it's still my favourite. This is basically their portfolio song where everyone shows everything they can do: Eli his full range from low to high; Cesar his phenomenal acting skills; it's my favourite singing part of Layne and he also gets particularly creative with his percussion sounds; Geoff does both the bass and the lead singing; and Elizabeth is my favourite one-time featured artist and my second favourite at all after Omar Cardona (btw the second VP video I watched was Dragonborn). It's also my absolute favourite VP music video both in storyline (Mini Eli! The carrot mini storyline!) and styling/set and even the outro ("Stop! Eating! The merchandise!"). Upon every rewatch I discover something new. (Btw David K Reacts pointed out how Elizabeth's character was probably the leader of the group and the only one who knew what they were doing. Super interesting reaction!) I just can't put into words how much I love this and how much I wish this was more popular! I would absolutely watch a full stage play or movie about this just with a capella singing without lyrics, perhaps the whole Peer Gynt or a crossover with Dragonborn! XD Okay, okay, I'll stop raving. 🙈

I concur. Honestly, I think this is the best video VoicePlay has done so far, and that is fairly elite territory. If you consider only the audio, there are a couple of others that might edge it out, but this one has just so much going on visually, and it's all so cleverly tied in with what is going on musically...
