Morning coffee and Mary :) Cute card darlin. I believe we ALL fall into the "overage" thing with our creativeness. I have started a card one way and when it is finished it is 100% different. Ah yes, the creative mind at work :) - Priceless!!!
Well, just about every time I watch one of your videos, I have to make a trip to the Dollar Tree and I was just in there today.....LOL.... love the tip with the glitter nail polish. TFS...
Cute card and great idea with the glitter nail polish. I have a bottle of gold glitter polish that I've had for ages. (I haven't done my nails in forever.) I wouldn't use it for its original purpose but I may try this technique. 'Cause who doesn't love shiny?
This is a fun card I'd be happy to give or receive. I also love the glitter nail polish addition. Very cool idea, wonderful result! The shiny balloons really make me happy. 💖🇨🇦💞
Yes, Goo Gone works really well to clean adhesive gunk from scissor blades. That's what I always use. I just squirt a bit onto a cotton makeup round & wipe the blades until the gunk is gone. The only caveat I've found is you need either to wipe the blades down with soap & water (& rinse the soap off, of course) OR, what I do - wipe them down with rubbing alcohol on another makeup round. (Seriously - that's the only thing I ever use makeup rounds for! LOL) Of course, paper toweling or whatever will work just as well. The Goo Gone leaves a slightly oily residue behind that I personally would not want to get on my paper, hence the rinsing step. I really like how your card came together. As far as being extra, I would have added balloon strings with real thread or crochet twine to the card. Yes, I'm That Girl! I recently made a card with balloons, in fact, that I used holographic decorative sewing or machine embroidery thread for the strings. Talk about fussy! Mostly because it would NOT lie flat, & kept curling up on me. But I did it!!! I even tied a bow from the same thread to add over where I made the strings come together, to make it look like they were tied with said bow. That I glued down, though, & then used my cross-lock tweezers to hold until the glue dried. Yes, it was a laborious card! LOL My only "problem" with such things is that I "have" to have a string for each balloon. Makes for fun crafting sessions! Anyway, thank you for sharing your card & your tips & tricks. Take care, & have an awesome day! :)
Hi. Thank you for sharing your great card. I love the sub-sentiment but the again I love cake in the same way that puppies aren't just for Christmas and cake isn't just for birthdays. 😂 Have a wonderful day and thanks again.😊
Mary, you are full of helpful, wonderful tips and tricks for all card makers and your cards are always stunning! 😁❤👏 The nail polish idea for adding select area glitter easily made my jaw drop! 😂 TYSM!
Mary - I know this may not have anything to do with the video you’re making but I would like to see if you could make a video about the very small die cutters that suction one’s craft desk. There are several brands and I don’t want to spend money on one if it’s not the best one. So if anyone of your followers, or you could help me out with an opinion, I would appreciate it. Thanks so much!
I can let you know that I use the We R Makers mini desk top die cutter and love it. It cuts so well and the plates haven't warped yet. I don't know if it's the "best" one but here is a link to a bunch of them and they have reviews. See which one best fits your needs. LINK: shrsl.com/455c8

Hi Mary,
Don't know if you want to add another item to your stash, but they have scissors that cut without the adhesive sticking to them.
I think these scissors were supposed to be one of those kinds. lol
@@marypolancodesigns Yes, I had to get some because I didn't need anything else to clean 😁
Very Cute! Great tips for sure! I'm glad you ditched the bow😊
Where did you get those long bladed scissors you cleaned??
They are seriously my favorite; they are Tim Holtz scissors.
