I could reccomend it if your mechanically inclined, because they are 19-27 years old and stuff is getting worn out and will need replaced, and to save alot of money its best to do it yourself or with a friend. But if you want a cool first car id say get one! Their a blast! And not many out there

SC 300 BUT ONLY if it is manual but tbh the SC 400 if you can’t find any manuals the400 has the glorious dual overcam , over engineered V8 super reliable can make power reliably (boost) great sound and power nothing too crazy. I own sc400 with a few mods I wouldn’t get rid of it ever.
Daniel Duran my sc400 has welded diff & is auto currently, but the characteristics of the car, and how it drives is great. Keep in mind its a lux coupe first sporty second. That being said its v8 fun, smooth, and though heavy is agile. Only thing with the auto is that it’s not super duper engaging but is butloads of fun.

the MK4 supra was based off the SC300......basically the same frame and probably 90% of the mechanical parts are interchangeable
I got a manual 92 SC300. Best car I've ever owned very reliable, Ive always kept up on maintenance. 2JZ for life.
The supra got its plat forum from a 91 jdm sc300 so it's really the big brother to the supra

I daily my Sc300. Can fit s full set of wheels in the back seat, and still have room for luggage lol perfect for weekend track trips
