Idea for martin: -You start with 5 coins and each move you gain 1 -Each piece costs its value in coins to move -King cost 1 coin -If you capture a piece you get the pieces value in coins -If you can't afford a move you lose
Chess, but your army is tied together. All of your pieces/pawns must be connected through only horizontally, vertically or diagonally adjacent squares.
nice vid Nelsi! For once you finally feel how Martin feels. Anyways an idea for next challenge vs stockfish, maybe you can do one where if stockfish capture you pieces (not pawns for obvious reasons), you allow yourself to have the option to make them become a pawn instead of getting captured and then it is your turn now. The piece which stockfish use for capture will return to its previous square as if it doesnt move
Idea (not sure if balanced!) Bot of your choice Bot Have 20$ Pawn move cost 1$, Double Cost 2$ Bishop cost 1$ per square Knight cost 3$ Rook cost 2$ per square Queen cost 3$ per square King move gain 2$ Everytime you move a piece, Bot get money equal to its value (king=2$) Everytime you get checked, Bot get 3$, for Bot's King check, bot lose 1$ Everytime Your Piece is captured, Bot gain Double the Piece Value Everytime a Bot piece is captured, Bot gain half value, rounded up as money Pawn Promotion Cost 20$ (If you do it bot get the money) Goal is to either make bot bankrupt or checkmated You can change the amount for balance since I'm bad at balancing Not really sure if this is a good idea
A challenge I have for you stockfish vs you but stockfish have 215 $ in hic bank and you have 400 $ in your bank here are the cost of moving Pawn-1$ Knight/bishop-3 Rook-5$ Queen-9$ En passent-1$ Cattle-0$ King-0$ Pawn promotion-1$ Play as white
Challenge: You play against Stockfish 15, but every move that you make, Stockfish can no longer use a square on the board that is selected randomly. If a piece is on that tile, the piece is removed. If a king is on the square that is supposed to be removed for Stockfish, then nothing happens. Choose the top engine move that doesn't violate the rules. (you can still step on squares that stockfish can't) Also, Stockfish can't move a piece over the gap, except the knight.
New challenge idea: FAMILY RIVALRY CHESS: The rules are you play against Martin, but whenever you want to capture, you have to capture that piece with whatever your taking of your own. Ex: You can only take his rooks with your rooks, or his knights with your knights. The queen is the mother of the house, so they can take knights, bishops, and opponent queens. And once your opponent only has 4 members left, you can try to checkmate his king
You don't need "think" :P It is. Little bit embarassing for Nelson. Also people these days are trying to figure out how to mate that thing below 30 moves not how not get mated below 40 :p It shows how far behind Nelson is due to making content with Martin all day long. Once he gets to the high elo (he should be there but he isn't) playground he doesn't even know absolute basics.
@@sujalmaharjan7563 Yeah but Nelsi is 2450. Expectations are much higher. For you knowing already that it is Komodo is somewhat big. Nelsi should be able to beat it (or at least draw) fairly as white with prep. Such odds challenge is much below his paygrade and takes most of the fun.
This game just gave me an idea of a 'gambling' match. -You don't have to stay positive, only have to end positive. -Whatever move they make gives you money relative to the value of the piece: Pawns are $1, Knights/Bishops are $3, Rooks are $5, Queens are $9, Forced King moves are $0, but other king moves are $3.5. -You can only win if you can checkmate with a positive balance. -It's a draw if you get checkmated and they have negative money. -Capturing a piece or pawn gives you the 2x the value of the piece, and losing a piece or pawn costs you 2x the value of the piece.
Martin challenge idea The Compass Challenge First move - North : A move that would move a piece up Second move - East : A move that would move a piece left Third move - South : A move that would move a piece down Fourth move - West : A move that would move a piece right
17:24 if pawn takes the Bishop Qh2+ and King only move is to f3 and Nd2 is checkmate.... I just said this so all of you know. I'm watching 17:24 right now so I don't know if Stockfish found that
i really like this concept. i wonder how hard it would be for stockfish to adjust its strategy if it was able to be programmed with these limitations in place. i assume it would essentially need to be entirely retrained, which is unfortuante but hey. still interesting.
a few years ago I played stockfish on it's highest level, over and over again. Each time looking at the analysis after to see where was my first mistake, and what I should have played. As black I did eventually find a drawing line with the Caro Khan.(I can't do it now, because a) I've forgotten the lines b) Stockfish has also adapted. (In fact I did beat it in ultra at the time, but only on time, ... because I could premove a lot of the lines, and then very occasionally I would survive enough moves for it to flag).
Well... I play Komodo3200 (it's not SF) a lot with white and there are forced mates in around 25-30 moves from few openings. I have memorized couple. Caro with white is actually the easiest opening to win against it. There are multiple winning lines there straight from the opening. And today after half a year of periodic searching with SF and many attempts I finally beat it with rook odds... for Komodo :D Obviously in Caro. Sky is the limit bro. If you want I can send you some winning lines with white in Caro. Once you get a massive advantage in the opening you should be able to beat it.
nice @@crystallized1676... well done on beating it, ...even with the rook odds, still not easy. I am RubbleChess on lichess. I haven't got Komodo though.

Maybe give Stockfish 1000 dollars but with every move, he also loses as many coins as big as his advantage? If he has a checkmate you multiply the piece value by 3.

Stockfish has a debt now. It has to go to jail because it has no money at all.

-1$ is too good to be true
Variation: Stockfish has $200 and if it runs out it switches to Martin, then you see if you can win.
this payment option would be a great idea for lower players to play against you, Nelson :))
Wow, flawlessly calculated. Get WRECKED, machine!
Rule change: if it captures a piece, it gets money back
