Tommy Shaw is like Paul Rodgers in that he has never lost his voice!!!! He is as good as he ever was!!!! I also wished that Damn Yankees would make just one more album!!!!!
Saw the Damn Yankees open for Bad Company back in 1990.I was 21 at the time as was the girlfriend I had at that time plus she was a total slideshow. We stood up front at the stage when they sang High Enough and she cried during the song.Tommy Shaw noticed her and blew her a kiss with his hand and gave her the guitar pick when the song finished.
Still has it,just saw Styx recently, you'd think they were still Hungary to make it,no going thru the motions at all, still getting after it every show, professional all the way.
Told the man down the road that he very much resembled Tommy Shaw. You'd have thought I told him he looked like God. Oh what divine music. Thank you for posting.
So great to see them together again... BTW, in addition to the two Damn Yankees records, Jack and Tommy made two albums under the name "Shaw-Blades".... one is a covers album, but the first one "My Hallucination" is amazing. All original tunes, mostly acoustic in nature. Really well worth digging around to find a copy of it if you love their other work in DY, Styx and Night Ranger.
In LA before he moved to Nashville, my wife and I lived near Tommy and passed often walking trail in Griffith Park but resisted urge to go slobbering fanboy. His gorgeous wife very smart and down to earth too.
This is the first time the audience didn't sing during the part where Jack Blades wants to see if the audience knows the rest of the verse. I wonder if Jack felt a little disappointed, especially since Tommy Shaw is singing with him. I'm sure Jack wanted to show Tommy see the audience sing along.
Some of them sounded like they really struggled to even get breath, Tommy however, is amazing as always. His voice is really the only one that is on point here.

What I find amazing is that tommy Shaw is 66.. still sounds good for all the years that he has been singing.

@@purplegirl1010100 I think they did sing but it was hard to hear them.
I wouldn't give Nugent the satisfaction of having a job. . . .
Very awesome 👌
Don't tell me you love me,♡$Just call me that groopi
Those guys are short in size, but large in stature!
Aren't they. I know them personally 🙂
💕💜😻🎤🎶
Rock in rio please...#rockinrio
Well at least the video is not shaky!
That's just the darn Yankees without Ted
John No. It’s Night Ranger with Tommy Shaw. Night Ranger has been around since 1981. They deserve their due respect.
It was a joke....night ranger is and was a great band with or without Tommy shaw lol
@Matt Logsdon I know ain't trolling great at least you have a sense of humor 🤣
@Matt Logsdon I'm a fan of all three bands matter fact I even have a Gibson byrdland I guess Ted doesn't own them all
I miss the big dive-bombs from Ted Nugent and this tune
When and where was this?
That David Spade can sing.
so dumb comment!!wtf does that even mean?10 months ago you posted it and how many liked it?yup that what im saying so stupid!!!
Is that Blackie Lawless on second guitar?
Great vocals, prefer the original lead guitar solo by Ted Nugent!
Ladies and gentlemen Trucker Brad Gillis
and on Rhythm Guitar Keri "Is that F*cking Blackie Lawless?" Kelly!
Yeah...I only like Tommy Shaw's voice. Everyone else sucks. The lead guitar solo suck too.
Thanks for adding your 2 cents. Now go crawl back under your rock and disappear

Sweet yesterday keep rolling on
