2023 First Cutting. First try with Krone 46T Rotary Rake

- 1st cutting of 2023 was delayed 2 weeks because of unsettled weather. We finally hit the field, the field hit back. I came out of the first cutting black and blue.
Check out the Krone 46T rotary rake. We still have some adjustments to make.
Good to see you guys getting some hay rolled up & off of the field. 👍🏻 Nice rotary rake. Hope you guys get several years of service out of it. 👍🏻 Boy, you got yourself good there. 🤕 I'm sure you said a few choice words too. 🤭 Had to chuckle when I started hearing all of the BEEPING & dizzying views. Then I saw why, the pup just wanted some camera time too. 😁 Take care.
Thanks Ron. We're making improvements as we go. Hopefully, our next round of adjustments on the rake won't leave me black and blue.

The rake is turning out nice. We're still tweaking the adjustments on it.
And yes, my face looked terrible for a good week.
Then, the dog cleaned me out. Full send from the sidelines.

Those are nice rakes! Quite a few brands making them now. The early ones were troublesome, all the money motion and expensive parts.

@@TheJfitch been a year of short crops and breakdowns.. but we are getting things done 👍
Being as I do 90% of the raking I would love to try a rotary rake. I had a learning experience on 2nd cut this season....... My Son insisted I learn to use the Auto Steer on the newest 5115M It is to me a bit troublesome getting it activated after turning around at the head lands but after all is said it is help full..... We split the acreage this year so we still have about 90 acres of 2nd cut to get... within the next 10 days........Fertilizer has been applied and rained in on the finished 80
I've enjoyed my experience with the rake. We're still trying to get it adjusted .
