- Decided to put all 3 of the Tugboat Complex into 1 back to back song. To me this is some of Aesops best work.

I think this is the most underrated piece of art I know from the 21st century, those who know it know how fantastic but only so many people know these particular songs, even a majority of Aes’ fanbase are not aware of these songs existence, let alone how lyrical, just crazy
I'll never get sick of Aesop Rock. just so many layers, so much to hear. ..one of the greatest lyricists alive

I prescribed brevity plus the premise is my pin cushion

Passion posted the bail but the guard had misplaced the key ring (that's wonderful)

Not even exaggerating, these are probably my favorite lines in Art. These transcend mere poetry and music. They're something more.

And you are owed a debt of gratitude for putting all three Tugboat Complexes into one vid. Aes basically raised me. Been listening to his music since I was 14, Iam now 31, and each time I listen to a song, I understand different lines from a different perspective.
This guy is literally the reason I started writing... then stopped ... Hes soo phenomenal you just end up listening
he's the reason I stopped writing... It's impossible to recreate this style and everything I wrote ended up being weaker

Being an AR fan is like growing your own food. It takes work and reflection, but when you eat it up it is extremely satisfying.

This to me is "Even when everything you know is awful, just find one thing. Literally anything to keep you going. Even if it's just a window that opens towards a brick wall." If it gets you out of bed, or brings you back from the brink, then it's not trivial.
For me, it's just being able to feel the sunlight again. Just...warmth, true and complete.

As I continue to listen to more and more of Aesop im liking more and more the older stuff they did. New stuff is good to! Just older stuff I feel more soul being poured into it.

Aesop said he probably wont do a Tugboat Complex 4, and that everysong now has its own tugboat feelings. Something long that nature atleast.
