- Thanks for stopping by. People been asking for this epic from the In Waves album. One of Corey's great solos and a beautiful middle section. I may be mistaken but I believe there are four guitars playing during those two harmony guitar sections; two guitars doing the main harmony (what Matt and Corey play live) and two guitars playing that harmony but an octave higher blended in the mix. I could be mistaken but to me it sounds like more than 2-3 layered guitars.

Damn me if everything after 2:11 isn't a masterpiece. Especially 4:11, there's so many great harmonies and solos in this song, peak songwriting Trivium
Honestly that part is some of the best songwriting and melody/harmony writing Trivium have ever done in their entire discography, honestly most of this album is a damn masterpiece, I would say In Waves, ITCOTD and Silence in the Snow are their best 3 albums with Sin and the Sentence and Shogun making it a top 5

Yes, my man! You did it! This song means so much to me, I literally have a poster of that song's lyrics on my wall. I don't know how to play the guitar but since I got into metal, I wanted to learn. But I have no motivation in life and whenever I feel like I'm finally standing on my feet again, I get hit with a bunch of shit that makes me fall to the ground and below the surface in an empty emotionless void. Music makes me forget about my life and I can escape for a small bit. You really fascinate me, because in some of your videos you make mistakes while playing like something really hard. And Idk, but it makes me feel closer to you for some reason. Like, it reminds me of how you're not perfect, I'm not perfect, no one is. And Idk, I fucking love it. You're still really fucking sick with the guitar, and I want you to continue what you're doing and get even better than you already are. I get so happy when you release a video.
